    Thanks for sharing this knowledge. I ask for advice. Is there a way to eliminate the creases that normally form on the convertible top over time? Thanks for the reply.

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  8 місяців тому

      You can’t eliminate them, but they can be reduced by keeping the top clean and protected. Those creases are caused by the fabric being damaged by dust in the weave.

    Had a detailer not do a thorough job with waterproofing, and the convertible top has spots from the waterproofing, he did not spray evenly, the product he used is gtechnig smart fabric, I have Raggtopp fabric cleaner , if I spray this on and work it in will this remove the gtechnig spots on my convertible top? This happened about 3 weeks ago, what do you suggest I do?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  25 днів тому

      Sorry to hear that, I would suggest that the detailer who did the work, Ragg Topp will not be enough to strip it.

    • @RichardPurcell-fw8mo
      @RichardPurcell-fw8mo 25 днів тому

      I don’t understand, What about the detailer?
      Will the waterproofing spots from gtechnig fade as time goes by from constant washing and using
      the Raggtopp fabric cleaner
      Also if the waterproofing spots are on the top, when can I apply a waterproofing fabric protectant ?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  25 днів тому

      @RichardPurcell-fw8mo start by returning to the detailer who applied the g technique and have them fix the problem. If not you will need to wait until the surface is even before applying anything else
