very good video thanks for posting, i like the way you use cheaper products, there is so many conflicting videos scaring people away from them, but like you say its just fabric, thanks for your time and effort for posting this, the results speak for themselves. great job
Very good, that hood looked terrible before you started! Brilliantly clean when you finished. Can you recommend a product to waterproof the hood afterwards?
help! i drove through a car wash and accidentally had wax added. My canvas top is loaded with wax and I can't get it out. Any tricks? It is melting down my windows and into the door panel.
You need a degreaser to remove the wax. Dawn dish soap (if you're in the USA) or Fairy liquid (if you're in the UK). 1 squirt into a bucket of warm water. Clean the roof using the soap solution and a sponge (bath sponge is great for this - use the exfoliating side). Rinse off with water then apply a suitable waterproof product to the fabric - follow manufacturers instructions. good luck !
Thanks for the video but if I'm being honest, I'm not really that impressed with it, there's a few things that really don't seem right to me, although you make sense about products, the process could be so much better: - when cleaning with brush pre wash, you've brushed in sections but then the next section that needs brushing will be wet meaning it's not going to brush out dust and pollon will more likely stick to the wet roof. - First cleaning process seemed OK. - I was really having heart palpitations with the second cleaning process with the pink stuff, I could just imagine the roof drying with extra clean spots and average clean spots, I would have gone over the whole roof with pink stuff just so it's a consistent finish. - with the pink stuff you've done a circle motion clean, but I would say linear motion, especially on a particularly woven roof so you're going with the weave and also creates almost a cleaner finish. - the finished product did look good though. Sorry not the best feedback, overall a good video just some feedback 👍🏽
Any constructive feedback is good feedback as far as I'm concerned. You've taken the time to watch the video and explain your feedback which I'm grateful for.
@@ceramixdetailing29 thanks for getting back to me, overall great just a few little points I want to get into detailing and watched a load of videos before I practise on mine and wife's car... might go with wife's first 🤣

Thanks. Great tutorial
Like your videos, glad that UA-cam recommended you, subscribed!
Wife’s convertible has very bad algae type stains formed and can’t get out with any car specific cleaner I’ve tried. May have to give this a shot!
Bloody hell! I just paid for a full Renovo cleaning set. If only I'd seen this first.

Thank you. Renovo Ultra Proofer
Going to see if this will shift the algae off the wife’s mini. ( That’s not a euphemism 😊)

I Don't believe it new hood, can't beleave a hood would like this on a car over 20 year. No creases no wear marks strange or magic.
