In this video we check that everything is still ok AND I explain how to tension the timing belt.
That is to tight! Check alfa manuals and you will see it yourself. Thats not the refetence hole where you put it. It the other smaller hole.
I think the same
for sure it is wrong setting the small hole on the tentionner is the reference not the big hole for the tool!
Exactly, arrow should be pointing at the small hole. Big hole is for locating the tensioning tool!
100% the arrow shouldn't be pointing at the big hole, it should point at the small hole.
Very Nice!!!
I'm not sure i understood the tensioning of the timing belt, everything els ok
Thank you for the two year update! I have better understanding of the tensioning and why it must first pretentention. I did not consider when the engine revs the belts tighten more so the 2mm slack is important. No one else explain this, again thank you.
Excellent video, clear instructions for other enthusiasts who do their own work. And thank you for speaking in English, it is appreciated. I wish I knew which country you're in so I could at least say thank you in your native language.
Judging by the accent I guess that the author is Finnish. @Louvado71
, please correct me if I'm wrong ;)
it can work without a balanced belt
