Yellow Scopas Tang just added to display tank - uncommon fish

Love this guy so far. It should be interesting to see if he gets brighter. paler or stays the same. Really an uncommon fish which isn't really everyone's cup of tea since you can just get a yellow tang (for now), but something different.

I just use 10 gallon tanks. I don't typically get any larger fish so this works out. If I need to isolate but not medicate I can also move them to my 55g frag tank but then it's a pain to catch them later.

Great to see him in the display! How fast will a fin tear like that heal?

He's almost healed now so 2-3 days. He does have a new smaller tear too so they are still working it out but it's very under control. I am surprised how fish heal.
