Hope this series becomes a permanent feature! Get to sample new bikes vicariously through you guys. Really enjoy this kind of content so fingers crossed it becomes a staple.
Thanks very much Richard, good of you to share the positives! We hope so too, it was a long time coming from the conception through to scripting, screenplay and so on, but this is just a pilot and if we get the chance to continue (and so far, so good I reckon in terms of the feedback here) then we can tweak the format, style and approach to make it even smoother.
Thanks again, Michael
@@bennettsbikesocial When do you think this will be back, it was really good
@@gtwiggerwork Very soon. We’ve had confirmation from the bosses and the sponsors to make episode 2 so we’ll be planning it this coming week.
@@bennettsbikesocial Great news, looking forward to it
yeh this is a brilliant series idea, especially telling us what they customer ultimately ended up buying
This is like the “House Hunters” tv formula turned motorcycles and it works perfectly. Keep the series going!
Reminds me of Used bike heaven on men and motors, excellent series. We need programs like this 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Several have mentioned the M&M show but I've not seen it... yet. Must google it. Cheers, Michael
This is gold, its motorcycle's version of a place in the sun...haha. Can't wait for the next episode.
Ha! The inspiration came from the reams of letters Simon receives on his Front End Chatter podcast plus Escape to the Country. Glad you enjoyed.
Cheers, Michael
Enjoyed that folks! Great idea for a series 👍
Thanks RT, hope we can make a few more. The series will really depend on the reaction to this pilot episode.
Cheers, Michael
@@bennettsbikesocial I agree, it’s a great idea for a series. I do think it would be better choosing bikes from different dealers though. A bit like Location, Location, Location 😂 go and find the best bike, at the right price, with the beat accessories. 👌 I appreciate Superbike Factory have probably paid to be in this though which makes the series viable.
This is like the men and motors show brought up to date, great stuff and hope they keep doing them
We hope so too. Several folk have mentioned the M&M show but in all honesty I'd never heard of it. In fact, I'll have a searach for it now.
Cheers, Michael
Duke fgtein
Great new feature, entertaining to watch and something different. Reminds me of the old men and motors with Francesca Robinson, “Used Bike Heaven”.
Thanks v much! I shall have to Google that one…
Cheers, Michael
@@bennettsbikesocial LOL ! :D
This is gonna be a brilliant series !
I certainly hope so, it’ll boil down to the appetite and feedback from this pilot episode really. 👍🏻
Cheers, MM
Nice content, hope this series will get a lot of views in future and help a lot of bikers to get their new loved one!
This was good, and I’m looking forward to watching the next one 👍🏻
Thanks Simon. Hope to be making them a regular occurrence, a lot of which will be based on feedback and reaction from this episode,
Cheers, Michael
Great show! I could watch an episode every day.
Front End Chatter mashed up with Escape to the Country. Brilliant.
Wow guys I really hope this becomes a permanent thing as what a great way for riders to try different bikes + a great watch & great collaboration with the Superbike Factory!!! 👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks guys! Enjoyed this.
Awesome show, can’t wait for the next one. This is easily something I would have binge-watched if there were more episodes available!
Cheers! Looks like the reaction from this pilot episode means we’ll be making plenty more.
Cheers, Michael
Nicely done, enjoyable watch . Smashing guest also who really thought it through. 👏👏
Brilliant idea for a series. It’s the problem we all face trying to decide on what’s next!
Great video, guys. Interesting and the editing was also great.
Enjoyed this format, keep it up!
Great show, great idea, love it, can't wait to see more 👏
Great show! Looking forward to more
Awesome show guys cant wait for the next episode
Sorry but I feel like this is a mis representation of superbike factory as they don't allow you to test ride bikes.
Plus their reputation is shocking when you read reviews.
Ye I’d never touch them, dodgy bikes and who the hell buys a bike with out a test ride !
Reminds me of the old men and motors series :) .. good stuff guys
Hopefully in a good way! Cheers, Michael
@@bennettsbikesocial Offcourse :) , a fresh feel
Love this as a feature. I can’t wait for the next one!
Great idea, hope you do more!
Great format. Well done.
I loved this series!!! Keep it up what an awesome show!
Thank you, we're hoping to do some more. This was a tester to see what the reaction was like.
That was fun, keep them coming! Great idea 👍 maybe you can show the bikes when you talk about them in the end as well?
As others have mentioned, same idea as used bike heaven from the 2000's. Still a great idea for a show and very entertaining. Please continue this series. Subscribed cos of this episode.
There's something about this series that just makes me smile. Brilliant idea guys. 👍
Great episode. I have an 18' street triple rs and it is a great bike. Best bike i've ever owned. When i ride i get a lot of people asking and talking about it and have an occasional telling me old triumph stories. It's a great time. Wonderful bike.
Yes! Finally! Love this type of series! As much as we all like new shiny bikes…, waiting list as long as entire riding season..! Used market never been stronger! Also would be nice to see details of the bike on the screen, like mileage, price, any extras put on, etc.
Glad you enjoyed and yes, that's definitely one of the elements we can include to make it better next time. This was a pilot episode to gauge interest levels and we hope to be making some more episodes soon.
Cheers, Michael
Great concept! Looking forward to more.
Thanks, hope we can oblige!
Hi Michael, Thank you for that... Simon, I know we all move forward but I will always remember you on track days, Fireblade shoot out with Performance Bikes and friends who are with us and not. 😥😉
Thanks for taking to the time to comment and I’m glad you enjoyed. Simon will be reading these comments too. If not, I shall poke him.
Cheers, MM
Happy he found the bike he likes. But I really like John Milbank's green Kawi that we often see in his garage, in his videos. Love that bike! I hope in the future you'll go also for older models, because they still have a lot to offer and at a much lower price point.
Enjoyed this post …. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks, the reaction to this pilot seems strong enough to warrant another!
Been crying out for a programme like this for years. Men and motors was the last one 😎🏍👍
What a great idea for a series. Looking forward to seeing more of these head to heads in various styles. Great work!
Cheers, thanks very much. We’re certainly aiming to make more.
MM
Fantastic video. The channel and journalists/presenters are class leading.
Excellent viewing and entertainment.
Happy, safe travels. Enjoy the new ride fella.
Cheers, thanks a lot. Same to you.
MM
Cool idea. Really enjoyed that 👍
Great series, need more of the same... Thank you.
Loved this video and the outtakes :), great idea.
I'm chuffed at the positive comments, thank you (and everyone else!). Hopefully with your backing it'll mean we can do more.
Cheers, Michael
Fantastic idea. It's hard to find new and interesting motorcycle content. Well done
Thanks for that, glad you enjoyed. Hope we can make some more episodes! Cheers, MM
It's been done before, many years ago.
Fantastic format…. Very professional… I’m hooked 👍🏻😊👍🏻
Thanks! Good to have you with us.
Cheers, Michael
This was great to watch Michael and Simon, really interesting stuff.
Thanks! Hopefully we can carry on.
Cheers, Michael
Great format guys. This is going to be a popular format and very useful for someone looking for a new bike.
A modern reimagining of the old Men + Motors series Used Bike Heaven. Don’t give us the ‘will need to Google it’ line either, you’re both old enough to remember it. It featured some guy named Richard Hammond - I wonder what ever happened to him?
Anyway, the Supersport was clearly the best option for him of those 3, very surprised he din’t go for it, although I’m glad he didn’t discard with the old ‘servicing costs and reliability’ concerns - they are not a thing any more!
Honestly, I'd never seen it before but then again, it's a familiar format (Escape to the Country, Location Location Location, A Place in the Sun, etc.)!
Great show! Kawa would have been my choice.
Excellent idea for a series and great budget point more please
Fun video. Great idea. Hope you make more.
Thank you, we hope so too! Looks possible given the reaction to this one.
Well made episode I have subscribed for more
Good series. Thanks
This was excellent. I liked the objections he gave for all the bikes. Its important to point out the flaws and make a final decision. I am going through a rough time choosing a bike that can beat the speed twin for my needs having test ridden close to 10 bikes.
I totally loved this content , brilliant for opening up your mind to choices of bikes that you may have not considered before simply by listening to the ordinarary man on the street ... cracking episode
Thank you Gary, we’re aiming to make some more. If you’re a BikeSocial member then don’t forget you can get involved and maybe star on camera with Simon and I!
Cheers, Michael
@@bennettsbikesocial yeah great to hear Mike and i will def be looking at signing up
Nice initiative! Keep ‘em coming!
The bikes at SBF Donnington are a disgrace. After being around the whole showroom I counted only 3 bikes that had been shown a sponge. All of the others were covered in grime & dirt from previous owners. Rusty chains a plenty. They really should not be presented for general sale
Cowboys of the bike industry
You're quite correct , this company is a finance company masquerading as a motorcycle dealer. I work for a main dealer and we send all the PX's we wouldn't sell in our dealership to this company , they buy anything. I too was shocked when I went for a walk in the SF showroom , lots of rust and scratches. Stay away!
This was nice. Hope it continues.
Thanks, so do we!
Surprising choice from John with the Z1000SX. I’d have chucked an MT-09 SP or maybe XSR 900 in the mix to compete with the 765 RS. Great show, looking forward to more episodes!
I really liked it. This is an awesome premise!
Love this kind of video
More of these please!
Great video. I want to go back to the mid 2000s where everyone rode superbikes and superbikes could be ridden everywhere
K6 750 ftw
@@markharrison2484 you reckon? They’re expensive because they’re not made anymore. I think a current GSXr1000 will have good road manners too?
Enjoyed the this series 👍
Wow, feels like I’ve gone back in time to Men and Motors 🤣🤣🤣👍
I hope that’s a good thing! 😊
Very interesting idea for a new type of tube with the user in the center of the frame! The guest can make or break these series, the first one had an interesting story and he is a pleasant fellow! Wishing him safe rides on the motorcycle he will chose from now on!
Very kind, thank you 🙂
Awesome series. Please continue
Thansk! We'll do our best, there's already been several enquiries by those who want help with their next bike.
I really like this series. I forget, but another British moto outfit used to have a show like this on TV, waaayyyy back. Keep it up!
Well done, men! I love this series and will go back and watch each of them. Congrats to Steven for choosing his next bike and getting back out on two wheels. It would have been hard for me not to choose the Ducati, but I found that bike to be a bit small-ish for me. No fault of the bike, I am a bigger person so that is a me problem! Anyway, good on ya, Steven. Looking forward to the next episode.
Great series old school love it and to top it off he got a Aprilia perfect choice
Great idea for a series
This is the best biking related series in youtube by far. Please make it permanent!
Thanks for the love! We’ve recorded episode 3 which will be out early next week.
Cheers, Michael
More of these, please 🔝🎬🎥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you! Judging by the reaction, it looks like today's job is to find another candidate and find a date when we can film the next episode!
Cheers, Michael
great idea for a show.!! i am jealous about the size of your bike show room. Nthing like that in Canada !! great job.
This series is mint, really enjoying it.
Thanks very much, have you seen all 6 episodes yet? No.7 is coming next week.
@@bennettsbikesocial I've watched them all, hooked. Been in a funk for the last 2 years, just bought a SV Race Bike (ex UGP) for the Hill Climb at Oliver's Mount...etc
Enjoyed that Simon and Micheal are really good at what they do FairPlay guys 👏
Thanks very much. Glad you enjoyed, Michael
I own the Supersport S 2017 and love it. It's also in white, which I think makes even more bella :)
Great choice, I thought Stephen would have gone with that too based on his reaction after the ride!
Thanks for the video 👍
Cheers, no problem!
nice to put a face to the voice of Front End Chatter's Simon Hargreaves... really enjoying this series!
“Sales Expert”. Really ? Good choice 👍
Really enjoyed this first episode in this series. I do hope that you will take a young/old rider who has completed their DAS moving up to their A2 licence, and also young and old rider who have completed their DAS and are moving up to their A Licence, me being the latter would be most enjoyable.
Keep up the great work.
Thank you, the content will rest on who wants our help. If it's a rider who's looking for an A2 bike then great!
Really enjoyed that. Hope to see more. I would have thought that a MT-09 or RS660 could be a good choice too. Never expect at the end he choose the other 660!
Glad you liked it, and good shout on the Aprilia. Yes, I thought an MT-09 would have been a good choice too (I even mentioned it in the outro) but then again, if we'd have presented 10 options, we'd have ended up with a 2-hour film 😂
Cheers, Michael
Great content nice bloke Testing bikes too 👍
Loved this, when’s the next one?
I like the theme and hope this becomes a regular series but I did notice the z1000sx was a Gen 2 and not a Gen 3 that it should've been for the year (18 plate) so it doesn't have the IMU that was stated. Still a brilliant show
Your on to a winner with this series
Thanks, hope we can can continue. This was billed as a pilot episode to establish the reaction and future desire. It seems positive so far!
Wow ! Never seen a bike showroom like that. The choice is staggering and so are the prices. The last bike I bought in the UK way back in something like 1995 was a GSXR 1100L for I think 5300 pounds. So all these years later I could have had that Ducati in the 8000 range. My local second hand bike dealers have a choice of only a few and the prices are up there. Service is generally appalling and getting parts hopeless. They have a policy here of only making overseas parts orders when they have a batch to order. If you just missed an order you could have a long wait. I tend to source my own from UK and bring them in myself. Way quicker.
What a fantastic format! Moar pls Simon and Michael!! :D
Thanks! We’ll do our best.
MM
Great series!!! Need to do a series like this in the United States 🇺🇸!!
In California, it is next to impossible to test ride a bike!
Really cool idea!
Glad you think so!
That Kawasaki is amazing! Please keep this series going!!!!!!!!!
Excellent idea and great content, it’s bit like blind date with motorcycles 😂
Ha! We talked about Blind Date during the planning meetings, though it was in relation to the music! Da-da, da-da, daaa-da-da-da-da-da :-)
Great series, it has a nostalgic Blind Date feel to it 😅. It would be nice if the customer got to choose a bike to try as well. Loved the extra info at the end about his final choice
Good call, we'll consider that option for next time. I think 3 choices in total should be the max though, would you agree?
@@bennettsbikesocial yeah I think 3 works well. As another idea you could have a 4th bike but they only get to ride 3 so have to discount one of them, that would mean changing the structure slightly though as you’d have to reveal all of the bikes before they were ridden
This is a great show. Watched episode 5 today. It was two months old. Could you guys pump out, please.
I have the ninja 1000sx, it has the most uncomfortable seat in biking history but otherwise it’s a great bike. The Kawasaki does it all, I have full luggage and it’s good at touring but not too big for town riding.
Great idea for a You Tube series, I'm hooked!
What a great idea. Well done.
Thank you, hope we can film a few more if there’s an appetite for it.
@@bennettsbikesocial going by the comments here there does seem to be an appetite for it.
I like this, it should be a series. Often an interviewer/bike reviewer is biased towards the bike/brand/make they like, and it comes across in the reviews, this feedback from an actual buyer adds a real feeling of comparison, that said, counter to what i wrote, he was biased to the bike he crashed, which is fully understandable. nevertheless, i think it would make for a brilliant series.
mate that giggle at 20:03 killed me 😆
