Superbike of London so it is still SOL.
I have heard that the Kawasaki h2r is a good beginner bike!
Haha. I don't think the H2R is even road legal.
Fortnite DefaultSkin it can be if you do some slight changes 😂
But it’s not a Honda which is the point of the whole thing.
No m8, the Boss Hoss 6200cc best beginner bike
@@fortnitedefaultskin4167 my friend owns it
You should do pov vlogs chasing supercars in london
Please add subtitles when riding or step up the helmet mic quality pls
i would take Africa Twin no questions asked.
baneklis my man 🤛🏻
My first street bike was a Norton 850 bought in Md...had 4 eventually... but my first dirtbike was a honda sl70 !
Hell yeah! Bike life!
I love that you are getting in to motorcycles, I don’t know how many UA-cam CarsSpoters I have told to do Bikes, it’s Beautiful thing❤️
And I’m more for BMW ❤️
YES!! PAUL ON TWO WHEELS! Welcome to the riding community Paul! I can’t wait to see your adventures and experiences with your bike!
Do more motorbike videos I’m just starting lessons good watch cheers
Well done, enjoy yourself, have fun and stay safe on the roads Paul.
I had a CBR600FX which was the older gen bike of what you picked. I used to do clutch-less up-shifts without a problem for maximum acceleration. The handling was great and that made it safe to ride fast IMHO. Speed plenty fast enough, but had to get the revs up which could require a lot of down shifting for say overtaking. And this kind of bike makes you want to ride at high speed to get the thrills. The more upright bikes likely have more low down torque and wind pressure to give a good acceleration and sensation of speed at legal road speeds. My favourite bike out of the many that I owned.
Good choice Paul! I’d have gone for the Blade or Africa Twin, but I’ve been riding for 30 years. As a new rider the 650 is spot on.
I’m still not sure about DCT on a bike though. My last two cars have been dual clutch and I love it, but I remain to be convinced of its value on a bike. I don’t use a bike to commute, just a weekend toy so perhaps it’s of less value to me.
The constant fawning over the automatic gearbox makes me wonder why ride a motorcycle at all, if you just want it to slowly become a self-driving Tesla. Using the clutch and shifting gears is part of the experience, part of the endless curve of personal improvement as a rider, same as when driving a car with a manual.
Choosing an automatic is like saying "i dont want to learn to feel the full experience of the machine, i want the half experience because its easier".
Would be cool to see you on the cbr 650r!
Great to see content you passionate about Paul....looking forward to some cool adventures.
I love your channel and I absolutely love how you use youtube and cars to make people's day
If you read the comments and follow the amount of views normally people are not that happy with the content of thid channel. I feel the whole motorcycle thing is trying for worthwhile content desperately
How is your drifting carreer going???
Dude, test your GoPro image guidance with your phone. That angle is just off!
That should also be my first bike too. Can’t wait to get it.
At last welcome to the club 👍
Loving the bike content Paul keep it up amazing
I a 650 no matter how long you have been riding a 650 is a great motorcycle and I like the paint design..Have fun, enjoy, look out for those large 4 wheelers.
Welcome to the family, I’ll come out for a ride with you anytime.
You can go straight from a 125 to a 500 after passing?
Personally i'd go for an NC750X DCT. Perfect all rounder. Happy biking fella.
Get the Africa Twin. A great first bike and sat upright. The sports bikes are not comfy on long trips.
Amazing looking bike! Great super sports bike to start off the journey!
So what exactly happened to your goal of becoming a drifter????🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😅
The content drifts, so he is correct in a sense 😂
love your channel im a biker its nice to see you are in to bikes
No body wants a twist and go superbike. The great thing about riding is being connected to the bike and changing gear is all about that.
That's the car driver in him thinking that.
A DCT come on Paul?
Please move that gopro to the helmet chin part. Much better view from there. Now we can only see the road two meters in front of the bike
Haha this was great bro!
No rider wants any kind of automatic bike, so nice to see a car guy so far out of his comfort range...
Drive safe
i just passed my test on a cb650r and just purchased a 2019 black cbr650r, awesome first bike
Right decision. Ive owned a 650 and they are good allround bikes.
CB650R - He thought the throttle response was too quick???
Try the Yamaha MT09 and you will meet the devil himself hehehehhe
Gasss pooollll ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Good choice, not too much power but enough to have fun with. And a nice looking bike too. I went for the Triumph Street Triple RX as my first bike. No regrets!
retrostu1 I absolutely love mine i got an sc project exhaust on mine and it sounds orgasmic
Camsty 1 which type did you go for? I have the Conic on mine with the Arrow Map from Triumph.
retrostu1 i got the s1
Camsty 1 Such a nice looking slip-on that, I’ve been thinking about selling the Conic and getting the S1 instead.
Please can you get a better mic and place the camera either on the side or under the visor the top mount is terrible
I like the looks of the one you have chosen but it was the predictable choice.
try putting a chin mount on your helmet the angle would be better and connect a mic. in your gopro
My first bike was a GSXR 750. I say go for one of those. 750 is the best of both worlds. It has more power than the 600s, but it's not as powerful as the liter bikes. So you're less likely to kill yourself while being new.
I did ride dirt bikes my whole life before buying that bike though. So i wasn't some fresh fish going straight to the GSXR 750.
I got a Suzuki GSXR 1100 WP 1993 and it's a handful lol but i have been riding on off for 33 years :)
Just learn how to clutchless shift.
Noooo you should’ve gone for the CB1000R!
Kim Brevik ,was odd they didn’t even look at the CB1000R, best all round fun bike in that room 👍
Makes me want to learn to ride a moterbike
Fireblade is a gentle giant I would have gone for that or the Africa Twin. You will get bored of the 650 rather quickly.
Hyabusa turbo, yep
Owned a cbr650 great choice
Take the 650 you'll get bored with the 500 whiting 6 months
What happened to you becoming drift king?
lol yeah i almost forgot
Typical youtuber says he is going to do something an few months later its completely forgotten about. Same with Archie and his Go Kart and sim racing.
His channel interest dropped off a bit so his drifting sponsors pulled the plug..
Remember when they all took their ARDS and instantly became racing drivers!
@@tedtheturbot Dont blame them I havnt watched any of his videos in about a year. Watch Stradman his content is 100x better
An automatic is like cheating on your gf with her enemy!!! 🏍🙅♀️
Now I shall wait for the day when you buy a Ducati! 🤪
for your first bike you really need to stick to a geared bike just to build up your experience using gears
It has to be a CB/R650R.
Or if not CBR500R because of A2.
Nah he's got a full license so can drive whatever he wants
the cbr650r comes with an a2 version aswell
My first bike was a CBR 600 F good bike to start off with
bit powerful?
That’s a lie tho lol
@@ziriware9798 nah, probably true, i know mates from America who started on fire blade 1000cc, s1000rr, r6
Congratulations lad the CBR would be great. 💪💪💪💪💪💪. Just need better audio quality while riding. Satin black 650 looks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Loving the transition to 2 wheelers
For a beginner perfect bike to start with and the colour is awesome next step in 12 months fireblade 👌🏼
Maybe chat with snowcat for helmet mic advice :)
Love that you are starting to make motorcycle content! Cant Wait for more
wear shorts and t shirts bro, its easier to manoeuvre
No
The Africa twin is such a cool bike with a lot of history!
Cb500x is too under power
Jesus christ the echo and sound clipping not even 2 seconds into the video i had to go down to 20% volume.
Please check your videos before uploading.
Last week: I'm going to be a pro drifter!
This week: Choosing my first motorbike.
🙄🙄
I've got a cb500x which i just took from the UK to Italy in June, amazing little first bike! You may want more power down the line tho, but it's a great starter.
Welcome to the biker family Paul! Life on two wheels is the best life!
Paul once you get some miles under your belt and move up to a true sportsbike then you will realise the true meaning of power to weight.
Just a thought - if you want to consider off-road riding, you need to understand that learning and gaining those specific skills/techniques is nearly as much of a task and as time consuming as just learning to ride on the road! BOTH require significant investment of time, effort and energy.
Maybe leave the Fireblade for the moment.... It won't be trifled with.
The 650R is a great choice.
"Choosing my first Honda Motorbike" - unfortunately this is just a Honda advert.
So? Out of all the brands I'd say honda has the most diverse range. Besides, if Honda hadn't sponsored the whole thing would he have even considered 2 wheels? Would we get thousands of viewers being showed what it's like to ride a bike for the first time?
I can ride whatever bike I want 👊👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ride a cbr650r , do it for your channel name 🤠
How have more people not recognized the great 650ib has commented!
@@thomasmacgruber6701 🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Don’t bother w/ BMW- they have too many new bikes of all sizes and don’t admit to recalls- or faults- my exp. i have an 1150 GS-
Great new content lad. Been here since the R8 days
I have no idea what I'm looking at, clueless 😂😂😂.
Hopefully I'll learn a little
If you need a superbike reference - for future- fitting w/ your lambo era- go to MV Agusta F4 - it’s art 2012 a piece indeed
Congrats welcome to the motorcycle community 🏍
Get the Africa twin 👍
650r looks is more agressive than the 1000 rr, to me. It looks more compact & solid
CBR 650 is the best by far
The new Africa Twin and then go for tours. You'll love it!
Hey super bikes of london new channel 😂😂😂
fish geekz I mean he’s doing this for sponsorship reasons so I don’t t blame him
@@Ham1001dy im a biker so im all for seeing bike's
I've had my bike for just on 2 years now and I'm loving it. Looking forward to seeing your progress
Great choice and Ian from Honda PR a good sport assisting you to choose the best bike for now - enjoy :)
Get a triumph or a royal enfield
Hey Paul, great choice of motorbike, that's the one I'd of chosen. I was just as excited watching you choose your bike as you were.
Because of you I am doing my A license now after 6 years of not riding a bike after a crash hahah. :)
The fireblade is the only bike in there you should buy. It has power modes so you wont be killing yourself and you can grow into it. And when your feeling more comfortable you can simply change the power mode.
Haha yes lad.. That 650r is bang on 👍🏻👌🏻
So you picked a bike that you didn't test drive? LMAO
That is frigging awesome!
Would you ever consider bike meets ?!?!?!?🤔🔥💪
Glad you're enjoying riding.
Good luck with the audio next time 😉
Ian is a top chap :D I have an Africa Twin on loan from Honda at the moment :D I dont want to give it back!!!
Lovely looking bike 👌 you'll want the fireblade next year 👀
Track day!
Did full silverstone circuit yesterday, awesome experience!
Awwwww!!!! You missed! The CB1000R was the sweet spot. Power you can grow into, sharp looks, great seating position, wide bars. Throw a fly screen on it and some bags and it’s a tourer! Change your mind! CHANGE YOUR MIND!!!!
KYLE Dermody he literally just passed his test. The worst thing you could do as new rider is choose a superbike. Moving up through the classes slowly will always make you a better rider. Even as a seasoned rider, riding a 1000 requires a step up in skill
Awesome seeing some new and different stuff
