I thought this was a simple, straightforward video and your explanations were clear. I learned two or three things about master documents I did not know before and that new understanding has impacted the way I use master documents. I was wondering if you would demonstrate how to use the other subdocument tools.
Also, I have paragraph styles set in my master document. When I insert a subdocument, I see where I can control the way a paragraph style displays from the settings in the master document regardless of how they may appear in the subdocument. That relieves me of having to control paragraph styles in all the subdocuments. For example, the body text in the master document is style Normal and I have it defined the way I want to see that text. That overrides whatever appearance a colleague has set on his computer for the Normal paragraph style, and I like that control. Is that a good practice or am I setting up my master document for some drastic problem down the road? Thanks for your video.

Great video. How does this affect the numbering of footnotes in sub-documents?
If there are multiple sub documents giving reference to page numbers of different sub heading how to link with that... I know how to give page refrence but can we automat that for 350pages documents?
