Every time I eat potatoes I think about Dr McDougall. He's one of the whole food plant-based doctors whose research saved my life and I'll never forget him.
There is no such thing as a plant based doctor as that is not an accredited medical term. Potatoes, rice and corn are not even mentioned in the bible as foods to eat. These days all three are ok to consume a little bit here and there but not too much.
Going strong at 72. Potatoes are the main item on my plate for 13 years now. 120 pounds permanently gone. No more diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol either, all thanks to him and the potatoes! They are the best!
@@bignige Pretty good mostly. I go to the gym for a half hour 6 days a week and do weights and the treadmill. I do just enough to stay a little bit sore most of the time, but pain reminds me that I am alive. It's all good!
He had a massive stroke when he was 18, and as a result much was damaged that was life lasting. This incident set a path for him to find out the true cause. Many experiencing this at his level don't live past their 30s. It was great to see how long he was around. My guess would be that the complications surely played a part in it. He was probably just about to turn 80. He did exceptionally well. I don't think it's a matter of spilling the beans. He has done very well for people, including me for a very long time. @-Munditimum- Yes. And for the rest of his life he walked with a limp due to the stroke. 2 days before he passed, he did a podcast with Chef aj. If we could all be so lucky to be functional until the day we pass.
He speaks it loud and concisely! Dr. McDougall was so passionate and direct. He never deviated, discovered the truth in his Practice, and then started saving patients! My WFPB diet foundation is starch, and I have never been healthier. Thank you, Dr. McDougall.

After potatoes ,rice and corn are cooked there is almost no Vitamin C and no A1, B2, B12, K2, Heme Iron, Iodine, CoQ10, DHA, Selenium, Omega 7, C15:0, Carnosine, Calcium, Choline, Folate.

There's always something so comforting when I hear Dr McDougall's voice.
I really miss his videos on Sundays at 8pm. He left us too soon. He helped so many people and will continue to do so.

His heart probably just stopped. That's what happened to my friend. We all die one way or another.

I love potatoes. Some days I eat 6-7 pounds. But I would not feel good if I only ate potatoes and nothing else.
Calcium and protein are not necessary because they are so abundant. Calcium is in the water/ Protein needs are easy to meet.
