    レシピ たこ焼き
    <材料>(約80個 7~8人分)
    (生地)
    ・薄力粉 500g(篩っておく)
    ・鰹節
    ・青海苔
    ・お好み焼きソース
    ・マヨネーズ
    <作り方>
    1.卵をボウルに割り、よく溶きます
    2.大き目のボウルに塩、しょうゆ、顆粒だしを入れてよく混ぜます
    3.2に氷水をいれ1を入れます
    4.薄力粉を数回に分けて3に入れて混ぜ、冷蔵庫でしばらくなじませます
    5.その間に具を準備します。たこは1~1.5cm角にきります
    6.紅しょうがを1/3くらいの長さに切ります
    7.たこ焼き器を温めます。(中強火~強火)
    8.油を塗ります
    9.生地を流しいれます。あふれるくらいでよいです。
    10.各窪みにタコを入れます。
    11.てんかす、青ねぎ、桜海老、紅しょうがを全体に散らします
    12.竹串などを使って窪みと窪みの間を切り離します
    13.底の方が固まったら、竹串などを使って上下かえします
    14.あふれた具は中に押し込めばOK
    15.何度かまわしながら焼きます。外はかりっと、中はトロッとしたままのほうがよいので
       焼きすぎないのがコツ。強火に近いほうで焼いたほうがよいでしょう。
    16.美味しそうな焼き目がついたら出来上がりです。(その他)の材料をかけて、温かい
       うちに召し上がれ。(中は熱いのでやけどに注意)

I love how takoyaki always looks like it's all messy and complicated in the beginning cooking process but in the end they all turn out to be perfect little balls of deliciousness!

It looks so delightful. I have never ate octopus but I have tried many other types of seafood and have always liked it all. Lobster and clam, every type of fish as well. These look very delicious, I wish they made them here where I live. They look very tedious to make but it looks well worth it in the end.

+Susie LaLonde Takoyaki is a specialty in Osaka and is best there. But we think we did a fairly good job! By the way, where do you live?

I live in Kentucky it's a southern state in the U.S. but you probably already knew that. LOL I think you did an exceptional job making them, and I bet they even tasted better than they looked and they looked very good.

Hey guys!! I finished making some Takoyaki yaaaah ^__^ i got me a small cast iron takoyaki pan it makes 12 takoyaki. At 1st it was a complete mess lol, but i learned some tricks on how to flip it much easier and how to make it perfectly round. On my second try i was doing it perfect and having lots of fun making it. I used the nonstick cooking oil spry and i put the heat some where around medium. And i don't over fill the pan with the batter, and plus i turn the takoyaki half way then add some more of the batter. Give it a few second before turning it and the out come is a perfectly round takoyaki. And now my lil girl is enjoying her takoyaki while watching anime. Love you guys keep up the good work =)

Takoyaki is something I must order every time I go for japanese food. When i order it people are curious as to what it is so I let them try it and their mind gets blown.
When I went to Japan last year I tried from a takoyaki food chain called Gindako. Anyway it was rather large servings and I had just come back from Tsukijii and had omakase for lunch. It was absolutely delicious and you could really taste every aspect of the takoyaki, it was a different kind of rich than what I'm used to. I have to say although it was very good I do slightly prefer the kind my local japanese restaurants serve here in Vancouver.
When I go back this year I can't wait to try other ones though.

Gindaco is a national franchise takoyaki restaurant. I have one in my neighborhood inside our Aeon shopping center. Their takoyako is pretty good, but also try their yakisoba when you come back!

Takoyaki is my favorite appetizer at sushi restaurants, so I'd love to try this. It's hard to find octopus in grocery stores around here though. I'm sure I could find canned octopus, but since that's already cooked I run the risk of ruining the texture.

    • @TabiEats
      @TabiEats  7 років тому +1

TBH I suggest putting a little more oil in the pan, simply because it makes for clean up easier and makes turning them so much easier. Also, put oil on the pan around each circle because the over flow of batter will stick less, again making it easier to turn. I have a takoyaki maker at home and I use it quite a bit when friends are over, so I can assure you adding a little more oil will not affect the outcome, only make it easier.

Oh! lol, I bought a takoyaki pan after hours of binge-watching takoyaki videos on youtube. I made them for the first time and I was kind of bummed out because the middle was a little runny (not too runny) and I totally thought they were undercooked. They tasted amazing but I thought that I made them wrong and if I had cooked them longer, they would have burned.. So now that I know that the insides are supposed to be creamy, I think I'll be making a lot more!! lol

    • @TabiEats
      @TabiEats  8 років тому +2

+Ayisha Flores haha. I would probably do the same after watching takoyaki videos. How can one resist? lol. Yes takoyaki that is fully cooked on the inside is the bad kind. It has to be creamy on the insides but not completely raw. Have fun with them!

I just got one of these pans about a week ago, and I can hardly wait to make takoyaki. I plan to make them without the octopus though. I think I'll make them with just Nori, scallions, and ginger.

You can use a donut hole maker. Electric! Non stick surface

I have always wanted to try this, but nobody else I know would eat it with me. So instead of making them, I am going to go to a Japanese restaurant and try some.

Could you use a donut hole maker for this? They look just like a taoyaki pan to me and I'm tempted to get one because its easier to for me to get one of those than a Takoyaki pan/cooker. This looks so good and I've never even had octopus, lol.

I have watched this video... and then watched it again.... I think the problem that I have is that my cast iron skillet is brand new and maybe that's why its sticking.... Please do make a Takoyaki tutorial in real time so that I (and Im hoping its not just me) can get all of the details to recipe. :)

Sinichi and Satoshi, this is wonderful! I love octopus and shrimp! There is no way I could refuse this! It's too tempting and obviously delicious! Crispy outside, creamy inside! I would order it in a restaurant, sight unseen, because of the funny name, "octopus balls!" LOL! Thanks guys!
