Imo, there are no snacks better than time-tested traditional ones. The grilled negi skewers looked delicious, as did the soft-serve ice cream and the fruit mix koppe pan. Thank you for the vegetarian options, btw. Also, thank you for the links to all your favorite shops. So convenient! Much love to you both. 💜💜
All 15 treats, look delicious! 😋 I’ve always heard how expensive the food is in Japan, yet all of the treats you featured, are very reasonable. Thank you for another wonderful video. ⛩ Someday I will make it to Japan…My #1 Item on my Bucket List.
I scrolled down for this comment! Saw him eat the ball in one go and thought omg that thing must be too hot! But he survived thankfully. Great video guys!
I don't know why I torture myself watching you guys eat so many yummy foods.😂 And totally off subject, but I heard you had really bad weather recently. I hope you're both doing well and safe.❤😊
Have been watching your videos for years and went to the places you recommended - thank you for showing foreigners where to go for legit food . WOW, made my day when I bumped into you guys at Kyoto subway !❤
I used to eat a pack of the konbini mitarashi dango a day during my first time in Tokyo. Couldn't do that anymore, it's so sweet! I go for yomogi nowadays. I would love to try the lemon honey dango. When in Tokyo I always have to get yomogi mochi, taiyaki (I usually go to one in Ooyama, they have a sweet potato one in autumn) and the fresh senbei from an old store in either Sugamo or near Nippori station. Sugamo is my favourite area for street food. It's less busy then Asakusa, unless you go on temple day (4th,14th and 24th each month) then it's crowded with a street market as well where you can buy good snacks.
Satou always very busy normally 😮!!!! Great vid now I’m hungry!!!!! 🤩 P.s guys I also love and seen the graffiti or as they say street art @11:50 it’s cool there!!!! 👌🏻
When I listen to Satoshi speak, it reminds me of Ken Watanabe (Katsomoto) in the Last Samurai. Both of you do great together. Keep the great videos coming.
In Tokyo, Ginza district, there is a small narrow alley that we used to eat there every weekend in the 70s that serves the best YAKITORI foods. Their menu is also wholesome. Try to go there and look for it and see if you can still find this small restaurant. TAI YAKI was made popular by a song way back in the early 70s. I love the red bean 🫘 paste in these TAI YAKI. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😋😋😋😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤🤤
Everything looked so good. Love sweet bean paste. Sadly I can only get buns and there is not much filling. Wonder if after a day like this you guys go home and just have a bowl of greens for dinner. Ha, ha. Hi from Oregon US.
For Breakfast -I will always get 1 Taiyaki and a coffee. For lunch - I would have Sataoshi 's shrimp avocado sandwich then I would have Sinichis fruit sandwich for dessert. For Dinner - 12 Takoyaki wit Lemom/salt.
Love these food videos. But I’m hungry now. There is a shop about 20 minutes from here that sell the onigiri. One of the supermarkets sells bao but it is 15 minutes from here. Just wish they were around the block.
Cheese and Curry are very good friends!❤ love it. Maybe i missed it maybe not...have you ever been in Jimbocho Area and made a Street Food Haul there? I can say its an amazing place to stay.
A kinda secret tip I can give is the restauran Pizzicare near Koenji station, its kinda hidden but the owner and his emplye are super nice and as he lived in Italy for a while he does know how to make a Pizza ... best I have tried in Japan yet.
As I recover from my third time having food poisoning in just over 2 years, I realize US konbini are overrated. I want to live where I can eat delicious food like you guys share with us.
Going to Tokyo 1st week of December. We will definitely try most of it. Except youre not very specific on the exact locations of where those restaurants are.... i mean the streets. Tokyo is huge. We will be staying in Shinjuko. First time on Do-It-Yourself trip and not group tour. We're even afraid to get lost. We're not very techy people
Great video! I want to try many of the items. But it would be super helpful if you tell us what the food is. You use a ton of Japanese words and didn't explain them all. As a first time visitor, I'd like to understand what the items are so I can decide which I want to try
Thank you for all the recommendations! I have a question though... I heard that it was considered bad manners to eat while you're walking around. Is that not the case?
I hate menchikatsu. By which I mean I hate that menchikatsu is not available where I live. I had it so many times at a small mom&pop shop while I lived in Fukuoka. SO GOOOD! Very addictive! Haha!
i love Tuna Mayo i think i got the wrong kind, so how long is an Onigari supposed to last in your fridge, and can you heat it up before hand if its ¨old?¨
It’s best to eat it on the day of purchase. If you’ll eat it the next day best to keep it in the fridge. However that does make the rice hard and it’s not so gooto heat it up before eating. You can definitely warm it up in the microwave the next day. Really though, best to eat it that day
Have been to some of those places last week sadly missed you it seems. I saw someone looking like satoshi cycling in Koenji today though .... wasn't sure if it was really him so I didn't say anything ^^V
Very similar but there are differences. Ningyoyaki has a softer fluffier textured batter. Also the anko in takoyaki is usually the bumpy type whereas ningyoyaki is made with smooth anko.
Your videos on street food make me want to jump on a plane and fly to Japan!
Love the shoutouts to the shops that have been there for years ❤
100% 👌🏻
The GOATs of japan street food
By far my favorite UA-cam channel! You guys are amazing at what you do; I’m always so excited when I get a notification that TabiEats updated!

I loved this video! The street food looks amazing AND affordable! I could actually eat out without breaking the bank! Thanks again 🎉
You are so welcome!
Watching you both eat that Pan was heartwarming. And yes tuna mayo onigiri, yesyedyes...

No, eating out is extremely affordable, has been for quite a few years now
Love these food videos from Japan. You giys exude such a warm, calm vibe and really give a good description of all the foods❤

The baby castella look so cute 😊
Poor Satoshi.... You're explaining the salted lemon takoyaki...and Satoshi was burning off every tastebud on his tongue 😝

Everything looks very good, I would go for an onigiri and then a taiyaki and finish with the matcha crepe

Along with the food I enjoy the expression in the faces once the food is savoured
Thank you for this list of street food spots. Looking forward to go there in September.😋
Hope you enjoy!

Go find and watch Tabieats videos on "10 Japanese phrases" and "Easy Japanese phrases for ordering food"
Going to Japan to visit my daughter in the next few months. I will definitely try this street food.
Have fun!
I'll be there in March and can't wait!
Everything looked so good. Love sweet bean paste. Sadly I can only get buns and there is not much filling. Wonder if after a day like this you guys go home and just have a bowl of greens for dinner. Ha, ha. Hi from Oregon US.
That’s exactly what we do! Haha
Love these videos thanks for sharing 😘😘❤️😍🤩🥰🌈🌹🙏💯

Everything you ate looked so delicious.
Merci beaucoup ! Toujours très utile ! ^^
For all the foodies 💜
So many great places! I've saved more to my google maps - thanks so much!

Aloha! Going to try all these spots in October. Mmmmm. My tummy is happy already!
Have fun!
Why can't we have food like that in America? I would try every one of them.
Love it, my mouth it watering! I’ll make a trip next month. Do you have list of places/Google address location?
Oh Satoshi! Careful with the hot food! 🥴. Great video guys! 💕

Never have but will check the area out
Great video guys! I just gained 17 pounds seeing all that deliciousness!!!
Mata Ashita pork bun is my favorite too! So damn good. Gotta eat it hot!
Gyoza in Japan 🥟 videos please 🙏
Now I’m hungry!
A kinda secret tip I can give is the restauran Pizzicare near Koenji station, its kinda hidden but the owner and his emplye are super nice and as he lived in Italy for a while he does know how to make a Pizza ... best I have tried in Japan yet.
Thanks for the recommendation!
You two should go to Singapore 🇸🇬 and try the BIGGEST ‘manju’ as there is lots of beef and it’s very juicy and best eat it when steaming hot.
OMG I NEED TO GO BACK
Going to Japan for the first time in May! Dare I try all of these?
Wish we knew earlier about the places in Nakano, we stayed there in March.
Hope you can come back soon!
All of these jobs better still be there when I finally learn Japanese and go to Japan!
im hungry!
love the street food really inexpensive you can get a great meal im surprised how cheap that nikuman was here in hawaii its like $3 each

Are lemons sweeter in Japan than in the US? I can't imagine eating a lemon slice like Shinichi did with that dango.
I feel like they do taste sweeter here, especially the ones from Hiroshima
Have either of you been to Utah ? Its got a masdive hawian culture
Never been but one of these days…
I hate menchikatsu. By which I mean I hate that menchikatsu is not available where I live. I had it so many times at a small mom&pop shop while I lived in Fukuoka. SO GOOOD! Very addictive! Haha!
I'm embarrassed that I haven't tried mitarashi dango. It's probably because I am not big on mochi, but it's time I try it.
You could also try some of the other flavors. You might find a new fav.
i love Tuna Mayo i think i got the wrong kind, so how long is an Onigari supposed to last in your fridge, and can you heat it up before hand if its ¨old?¨

Next time say hello! That probably wasn’t him though as his bicycle is broken at the moment
Are the ingredients similar between Taiyaki and Ningyoyaki? Do they taste the same?
Very similar but there are differences. Ningyoyaki has a softer fluffier textured batter. Also the anko in takoyaki is usually the bumpy type whereas ningyoyaki is made with smooth anko.
Wow, all of that looked so good. Satoshi should really know better by now than to put a whole takoyaki in his mouth. Too hot!
I know. He always does it though no matter how many times. 😊
💛😄👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
👋👍
I’ll try everything but 13:51
Sorry 🤟🏽🤟🏽
😃😃🥰🥰😍😍🤩🤩😘
I love your channel, but I thought you weren't supposed to walk while you eat in Japan?
Hokkaido onions aren't local to Tokyo, Satoshi.
