Elok, I was about your age when this came out so I'm seeing my reaction come back to life. You played this correctly. Eye In The Sky must always include Sirius. Have a listen to 'Don't Answer Me' from Alan Parsons Project also. I envy you discovering music from a time when everything was original. All the best from Australia mate.
I so agree, Michael. The song must have the start/build-up of Sirius!!!! 12:00 That is so funny! Elok says...in context, "if you don't like this song, something is probably wrong with you and you should have a cup of coffee right now..." hahaha
Strikes me as pleasant adult pop-rock. You work hard all week you just want to hear something nice as you relax after work. I had one album by them and my favorite song as I recall was “the turn of a friendly card“ (1980) - it’s about a 16 minute piece. Has a beautiful melody. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen Alan live so thanks Elok. Good work.
Alan Parsons was the assistant engineer in Abbey Road by The Beatles and the recording engineer in Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon, two great milestone records. And you can hear the influence in his music of course.
Good reaction. Always was a big fan. Have most of the albums. Saw him live a few years ago. They did play these songs. Eye in the sky is still played on the commercial radio-stations in my country. Thank you for this reaction.
Somehow i never listened to anything by him/them _ i don't know how i missed his/their music but i just didn't come across it _ so this is quite a treat for me _ it is a fabulous piece of music, a real musical production _ so thank you so very much E.H. and the one(s) who mention it to E.H. . . :>) - edited: adding "them" and "their" as the whole band earned big musical respect for this production.
HI, 've just discovered your brilliant channel! It makes me happy to see a young person like new discovering older music. The vocals are a lot better on the studio version, but Alan is still a legend. He released a new album a few years ago. Looking forward to looking at more of your vids. :)
Aaaaahhhhh (:. Your GREATNESS is Limitlessly Beyond PERFECTION PERIOD (:. I think it was either Alan or Parsons or both who were in the 70s helped Engineer or Produce either Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon Album or other Albums of PF (:. Like I said these guys were and always will be GREAT (:. Anyway LOL Your Reaction Of FIRENESS GOLDNESS SUPER MASTERPIECE EPICNESS INTERGALACTICNESS PERIOD (:.
The Alan Parsons Project’s albums were always immaculately produced and sounded great, which isn’t surprising considering Alan Parsons cut his teeth as a recording engineer at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. I remember having the “I Robot” album on high rotate back in the day. Andrew Powell and Ian Bairnson also worked with Kate Bush early on in her career, and “Wuthering Heights” (with Bush’s original vocals) is well worth a listen if you are developing a taste for “artsy” British rock. As always, a fun video Elok! 🙌🏻🤘🏻
A lot of his work has gone under the radar for some reason including mine But I am exploring this band further Im always trying to catch up what went under my radar ! Obviously having worked at Abbey Road studious with Pink Floyd says a lot. Keep branching out and dont forget Wishbone Ash lol !👍💕
Hello Elok... Im sitting here enjoying some music and thinking I want you to react to a song called All Right Now from a band called Free.. It is sung from one of the greatest vocalist ever Paul Rodgers who later formed the band Bad Company.. But All Right Now is a staple song of his career.
If you like progressive rock, try these: And you and I - Yes - Close to the Edge album (1971), Firth of Fifth - Genesis - Selling England by the Pound (1973), Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd - The Wall (1979).
Elok, have a listen to AC/DC Live at River Plate concert... i want to see you smile at that one... All songs but make sure you do Rock and Roll Train first :)
Too bad that this is a live version. Still, these guys are fantastic. Just to add, try the studio version off the album of the same name. I think that the problem I have with listening to stuff that's recorded live is that the whole point of live music is to be there in person.
Your so cute and pretty
omg you are not only beautiful but so intelligent as well
you are going to go so far in life in anything you want to do you are amazzzzzzzing
Thank you for your dreamy reaction, Elon! I really look forward to your next one!! Cheers, and good luck with your exam!!

I was in high school when this album was released. It is a true classic.

Alan Parsons was always one of my favorites!

My favorite Parsons album Tales of Mysteries and Imaginations/ Edger Allen Poe
Check out his earlier stuff from a Turn of a Friendly Card or I Robot

Alan Parsons Live Project is still touring even now, and even just added another show to its 2021 Tour in the USA 💗🎹

their best song is time
My favorite from him is "Games People Play" the exact same concert
🤍🤍
you should do time by them
He is a great artist. I think he produced Abby Road by the Beatles and perhaps Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd.
He engineered Dark side of the moon.
🤍🤍

A lot of his work has gone under the radar for some reason including mine But I am exploring this band further Im always trying to catch up what went under my radar ! Obviously having worked at Abbey Road studious with Pink Floyd says a lot. Keep branching out and dont forget Wishbone Ash lol !👍💕

This is the man who helped Pink Floyd in the studio mixing The Dark Side Of The Moon album. Legend.
