  • Hello 👋🏾 you beautiful #Knottycreatives and welcome back 🤩
Due to all the requests for lighter colored I am back with a video showing just that so you guys can see the pattern better and I also addressed the questions about helping the thigh-highs stay up.
    Tools 🧰 you’ll need:
    📍3.75𝙼𝚖
    📍5.5𝙼𝚖
📍6.5𝙼𝚖 ( * 𝙵𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎*)
📍1.00 𝙼𝚖 (𝙵𝚘𝚛 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚒𝚎𝚜)
    📍𝚂𝚌𝚒𝚜𝚜𝚘𝚛𝚜
    📍𝙳𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙽𝚎𝚎𝚍𝚕𝚎
    📍𝙼𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚖𝚐 𝚃𝚊𝚙𝚎
📍𝚈𝚊𝚛𝚗 (𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝙹𝚘𝚊𝚗𝚗 𝙵𝚊𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚌𝚜/𝙼𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚎𝚕'𝚜 - 𝙿𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎)
I got a new recording gadget so I’m still testing everything out but I made the video to the best of my ability and believe there should be no problems with viewing the instructions 📝
Make sure you tag me in any and all posts concerning this pattern - if you don’t it’s considered plagiarism - just give credit where it’s due 👏🏾
I do not mind you guys selling these socks because hey it’s about filling orders and making our customer happy 😊

Your channel is awesome, thank you for sharing your wonderful talents 🤩🙏🏽 this stocking turned out gorgeous af and even though this is way over my head right now regarding skill level, I’ll be back to give this pattern a go ✨🧶💃🏻✨
I literally just got started learning crochet 🧶 and relearning knitting 🪢 after 30yrs away. I love crafting and repurposing things.
I got tired of my over the knee socks either being way too tight or too loose. My legs aren’t the same size thanks to repeated foot surgery on one foot, one is a little smaller than the other, especially the calf, as it’s never going to get bigger due to my ankle is immobilized, longer story, so I’m learning to make my own.
    Thanks again 🤗

I just finished making these a couple of days ago, and I love them! Thank you so much for the pattern. I'm going to make more colors. I think my hooks are bigger even though they're listed as the same size. It worked it out though, because I'm a size 10 shoe and have very thick thighs. I did add more rows of the v stitch before the very end so they would go well above my knee.

What do you suggest for someone who is plus size with big legs? Should we start out with the same stitch count on the toe portion or increase the stitch count to ensure its big enough once we get to the V stitches?

    • @KnottybySelassie
      @KnottybySelassie  3 роки тому +2

Great question, yes you would need to start with the same stitch count as the toes and increase as needed for your width size then once you get to creating your heel and the pattern portion switch from the 3.75Mm to a 6.5Mm

After the toe part, we're suppose to have 5 rows of v stitches but is it okay to add more ? It keeps seeming to come out short when I add my heel chain, no matter how many times I redo it . . . Or is that normal ? Does it stretch out more as you crochet ?

Hey Kendale, I appreciate you crocheting with me. To make sure I understand, you’re asking about the heel portion correct?? It is going to be a bit shorter so it won’t get all the way to the heel. Once you finish your rows it should stretch more for you, if your calf to thigh measurements are close to one another and you need it to fit tighter then you can go down a hook size. Have you already tried to go down in size?? Also send me a pic or video on Facebook, for the issue your having so I can get a better idea 💕
