Thanks for the question! Depending on what trim level you have, those top headbeam strips are different. In the LT and above trims they are your daytime running lights, for trims below the LT they are turn signals and a side marker light. To turn on DRL’s (if you have them) make sure the car is on, and that the auto lights are activated ( do this by pressing the button with the letter A on it on the turn signal stalk). If your light controls are mounted to the left of the dashboard just rotate the switch to the Auto position. Thanks for watching!

The only place you can adjust those is in the infotainment system click on Settings, then click the Vehicle tab on the top right, then click on Collision/detection systems. There you can choose from off, alert only, and Alert and Brake. Not sure if the Alert is audible or if that’s what you’re seeing on your dash. Only thing you can do is make sure either Alert or Alert and Brake are turned on, I have a sneaky suspicion that what you are seeing on the dash is the alert, and there is no audio, but at least you know where to change things. If you watch the video I show you all this starting at 16:53. Thanks for watching
Is all this on the trax LS too? My cousin is getting one next week. I thought you could listen to music on a USB stick. It doesn’t look like you can. He’s going to be disappointed.
Yes it is, however it will play files off of a usb drive just be sure it is formatted correctly and that it is in the usb media port not the charge only port. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoGuysandaRide thanks for answering. By correct format, it’s FAT 32, right? And one last question: Do you know if the remote start is already on the Trax LS, or do you have to put it on yourself?
Yes. My guess is that you are somehow changing it when you use the turn signals as they are in the same stalk. What ever you set it to, should remain until you change it. Thanks for watching!
Not sure exactly what you mean? There isn’t a light symbol by the odometer, there is on the speedometer and that is for indicating whether or not cruise control is engaged. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the question. If you can click on settings, then scroll all the way down to the bottom you can reset it there. If you can’t do that, try locating the fuse for the infotainment system, then pull it out, wait 69 sec, and then try re-inserting the fuse and see if that helps. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the question. I’m assuming your referring to the dashboard. The range left is shown under the trip menu. If you watch the video from the beginning through about the first 5-10 min I show you how to see that. Thanks for watching!
You should be able to download it from the apps store. Click on the Apps icon in the infotainment screen, there should be another icon you can click on like “store” and then find Alexa and download it. Thanks for watching!
I don’t think so, if the feature is turned on, it should work. That being said, you do have to be far enough away with the key fob on your person, and it takes a few seconds for it to activate. Have you tried walking away far enough (like 20+ feet)? Thanks for the question and for watching!
ONE PORBLEM!! You CAN NOT use BOTH BLUETOOTH with ONSTAR WI-FI to fully access the paired photo to auto. You have to Disengage the ONSTART WI-FI from your phone and use your Celluar Phone Service instead of the ONSTAR WI-FI to have it fully function... I have been trying now for about a month to Pair using ONSTAR WI-FI and learned from ONSTAR that can not be done.
Thanks for the question. Easiest way to resolve that is to use your owners manual to locate the fuse the infotainment screen uses, then pull that fuse out, wait about 60 sec, and put the fuse back in. That should force it to restart. The fuse panel you’re looking for will be under the steering wheel, typically, to the left of the steering wheel but under the dash. Thanks for watching!

My son can’t figure out how to get the top headbeams strip to come on. So I said, when all else fails, UA-cam it lol and here I am.

Is their any way to get audible alerts for front pedestrian or any other safety alerts? I only see lights on mine which is the 2024 1RS

Do you know how to get the digital speedometer back on the divers info screen?
If you watch the video I show you how to do that within the first 2 min.

@@hcreative9241 yes that is one of the recognized formats. The remote start is offered (so not standard) on the LT, 2RS, and Activ trim levels
Can I set the digital speedometer to remain on except when I change it? Mine changes to trip odometer randomly while I travel.
Yes. My guess is that you are somehow changing it when you use the turn signals as they are in the same stalk. What ever you set it to, should remain until you change it. Thanks for watching!
What is that light symbol on the odometer for on the right side ?

Do you know how to reset the Infotainment Screen? Mine is the larger screen and some buttons are frozen on the screen?

Hi anyone knows if there is a Homelink button to connect garage door ?
Yes, they’re either in the ceiling above kind of by the mirror, or they’re at the bottom of the rear view mirror. Thanks for watching!
You sound just like Brian Doyle-Murray, brother of Bill Murray :)
Bill says “hi”
Future video suggestion.
Make video zoom put x.6 to show your fingers selecting the controls to use these features.

At the bottom of the center screen it shows the trip meter. Can this be changed to show range? I don't see a way to change what's shown.

driver information screen and audio information screen, is the same setup features that you just shown for the 1RS is like the base LS model?
It will be very similar yes. Thanks for watching!
is there a way to turn the seat belt alarm completely off?
Thanks for the question. There is not a way to turn it off, except to buckle up. Thanks for watching!
How much simpler the phone pairing is than it was in my 2011 Avalon.

does it have rear collision alerts?

Can alexa be added to a 2024 Trax 1RS?

“Delayed Door Lock”
I can’t get my son’s 1RS to auto lock with this feature on. Am I missing something?

I didn't find how to turn off the windshield wiper fluid notification. I filled it and it is still on. Any help?
You must have an issue with the fluid level sensor. There is no reset button as it’s automatically reset when refilled
How do you turn off the auto off when stopped on the light?
There is a switch just in front of the gear selector that will turn auto start/stop on or off. Thanks for watching

my coolant engine temp gauge stays on as white while im driving. Is this normal? I know the chevy trax in the video shows the same light on.
Yes
@@TwoGuysandaRide thank you. 😊
My 2024 chevy trax doesn't have those features
Is your trim level the 1RS?
It is. But unless you have $20,000 in your wallet, it's $38,000.
