Best way is to drop the screw through the clip and then screw it into the knife after it’s through the clip. I had this on a strider and it worked just fine
@@edged_mindset I got mine from a my knife plug. He might’ve got his from a flipper, I don’t know and I don’t care. After a night to sleep and think about it, I have the common clip along with the regular Chris Reeve accoutrements. So I’ll take my licks, Occam’s razor is that it was accessorized before my plug had it.

If you have not seen the Nice Guy Machine Co. clip, it is probably the best aftermarket clip out there in my humble opinion that is.
