- I'm back again with another speedrun video, this time tackling 343 Guilty Spark on Legendary. My time for this level in my "Can I Beat Halo CE Legendary in Under 90 Minutes?" video was 4:38, so I improved by quite a bit.

Awesome run, now that you mentioned him I miss Naked Eli, havent thought of him in years since Microsoft "killed" him.
I literally looked him up and watched one of his last vids yesterday it's insane. I hadn't thought about him in like 8yrs either
@@drink_ayahuascado you remember in 2016 he posted his 'last' video explaining the reason why he doesn't support Microsoft / 343 Industries anymore before deleting it a month after upload?
@@cailemkostiuk377 In 2016 his Xbox Live gamertag / account was banned for no apparent reason.
He tried contacting Microsoft customer support to get to the bottom of it, eventually he learned Microsoft decided the fact he has "Naked" in his Gamertag implies something sexual.
He thought it was hypocritical for them to name an MCC achievement "Naked Tyrant" in honour of him and "Mythical Tyrant" (another famous Halo channel)
Only to ban him 2 years later, he considered changing his Gamertag to either "Shirtless Eli" or "Baked Eli" at the suggestion of fans but ultimately decided he's done with speedrunning Halo after Microsoft's decision to ban him without explaining why.
Some great halo ce speedrun content in the year of our lord 2023? Amazing.

I wouldn't mind learning a few of these speedrun trick's, but it would only be for completing Halo CE & Halo 2 under 3 hrs on legendary, which I might need to be carried for as I'm not familiar with the map layout (outside of playing the level's normally) nor any of the current tricks being used.
Speed running will help some levels for sure. There’s points where if your not worried of time it’s easier to just kill enemies slowly. Taking time is the key for legendary completion solos. Prior to learning speed run I would shoot when I need and just run when I can 👍🙏

Been awhile since I've done Halo speed running mainly did it for the speed run achievements but seeing your videos I think I want to go back and get the rest of the ones Im missing and speed run again
Im going to do what you did after a certain encounter, where a guy on xbox lfg i met was "helping" me get the goat roped achievement. he got all pissy and after we finished the mission he called me a slur and left, and im gonna beat the hell out of his time just out of spite

Halo ce is by far my least played of the original run of halo games, but recently these speed runs have been so fascinating.

Hi I just recently came across your videos and I absolutely enjoyed them, is there a way you can do a complete play through from halo reach to halo 5 including ODST
Playthroughs aren't really my thing. Eventually I'll move onto speedrunning the other games.
I always wondered what the trigger was for the level to end, not a speedrunner so had no clue. I just remember sometimes standing around for 2 minutes and other times like 10 seconds makes sense it was 2 of the sentinels blowing up
Hey could you do a playthrough on the og xbox one of these days? I play(non-speedruns) on that and it would be awesome to see how that goes, what is harder/easier to pull off, etc.
I wouldn't have a way to record it. The only difference is that you wouldn't be able to switch to anniversary graphics. So, a lot less out of bounds shenanigans and no banshee out of level on Two Betrayals.
The classic record is still like 1 hour 9 minutes so it's still insane

Can you do a video on halo infinite? Something like the halo 3 video. Personally was a huge fan and was cool to see the story have an ending but I want them to some how continue this story of master chief. What do you think?
At some point, yeah. I liked Infinite, but I don't remember much about it, so I'd have to play through it again first.

When practicing I had infinite ammo and bombs.

you can do it on every version of the game and it was originally discovered on gearbox
