I think close relationships are just too precious to be shared with through social media. They're meant to be kept as memories in our hearts instead of in the internet.

Once I was in this restaurant and there were two couples sitting next to us. Four of them were all over their phones and for probably half an hour, there was absolutely no talking. It was sad.
I saw a family, husband and wife and two young kids at a restaurant. Mom and dad on phones, kids on ipad games or something. No one spoke the entire time. No one looked at each other. So sad.
This video has a really strong message. I see couples everywhere on social media and they are always so sweet. People, I envy them and people comment that they are "relationship goals" but this film highlights a kind of negative side to that and it is eye opening.

You just have to keep some things to yourself. What's the point of having a relationship when all you think about, is what will others think about you. Are you in a relationship to impress others or because you love the person next to you ? Impress your loved one and be happy.
Beautifully told!! Sad how that's the reality to most relationships now, how technology has an impact to either connect or disconnect relationships. Its always best to unplug when you're with your partner, it should be face to face and not through a screen! How ever if you're in a long distance relationship that's a completely different story - communication is key.
This is a breath of fresh air for me. I see it too often. It makes me sad because others (including me) tend to compare relationships to the seemingly perfect, picturesque ones online. wow thats one of the most meaningful videos ive ever watched. Couples these days go around sharing their lives on social media blatantly without taking a moment to pause and reflect the types of consequnces it may bring. I really respect you and your opinion after watching this. great job
Thanks for being the only UA-cam channel in Malaysia that produces valuable, relevant and meaningful videos, really! :) This truly speaks so much about the relationship struggles of our current generation. We're all embedded in a culture filled with #relationshipgoals, #squadgoals, etc and sadly missing the real relationship around us. This video is definitely a good reminder for all of us :)
I think being able to document your time in photos and statuses is really amazing. I don't think there is anything wrong with as long as you aren't spending too much time on screen.

It's directed like that,I believe. You were supposed to get the idea that they were already breaking apart and prone to arguing, not focusing on the content of their conversations
+nippurin001 Yeah I got that, but the dialog is made to be heard, and I'm just pointing to the slight difficulty in the film, but generally it was perfectly shot and well acted.. I'm not a troll really x)

OMG. Your videos are seriously reflecting what really happens in the real world. Sometimes what you see online might not be the entire picture of someone's life/relationship. We don't see the ugly side but only the good times because people will only post their good times. Although me and my boyfriend don't post much on our social media, we both always cherish the times we spend with each other and keep it in ourselves rather than showing off on social media.
Any girl who pulls out her phone on a first date (and it's not an emergency) with me is an automatic "next" for me. Shows that you lack manners, education, and regard for the other person.
I LOVE IT!!! Anyway, we tend to post so much abt our private life online that we forget the real thing to do to maintain the r'ship is to communicate and keep certain intimate time to ourselves…GREAT SHORT FILM!!!
Love is such an amazing thing that gets diluted when it is morphed to bytes and frames. It is obvious there are so many people who want to make each and every moment special, but in real life the beauty of a relationship grows only when one can accept the mundane life happily. Construing artificial happy moments just to show the world, simply ruins everything. Love is an inner feeling that can be enjoyed without social media...
He's right. Some things are better kept in private. It's not important that you need to brag your relationship on social media. What matter is that you two are on the same page. That you know your real score and that you are happy.
Watch this guy for the first time and his particular video's script and delivery is amazing! It's just another inspiration as a 1st year film student to learn from.
this is really meaningful we dont really need to show people everything some things are just best kept to ourselves like relationships you don't need other people's opinion to be happy but its not wrong to brag about it too but just don't go overboard especially to couples these days(keep in mind)
That's the most beautiful thing ever. I never post stuffs about my relationship. I used to do in my teenage. But I guess I have grown up. I love being in the moment, just being with the person, creating memories. Loved this video❤️❤️.
One word : Awesome! Were so proud of you guys creating such great film and everything improves in every video you guys made. Truly happy to subscribe you guys and all your videos tells me what life's is and how should I live in. Thanks for all the awesome videos you've made.
Yes! True! A relationship is something personal, intimate. It's not something you'd like to fill pages of social media. I understand and I agree with this subject. 💜
really really love this short. its all so real and this happens to people in this generation and sometimes you don't even know if two people are together for themselves or for the sake of the internet
Wow, this hit me right in the heart. Just 4 months ago my boyfriend and I had broken up. Like the relationship in the video, we were living it. Watching this short film was like looking at a mirror as to how our relationship was like. I, too, was guilty of always wanting the right picture and posting a lot of stuff that many people commented much the same in the film. Months passed and we have now been talking again. Disregarding this public comment, we ,too, are focusing on just being together rather than showcasing our lives to everyone like before. #relateable 😊 I'd also like to say how wonderfully produced this film is. Keep up the amazing work! 💙
Although I create VLOGS, I've chosen to not show my romantic life. I feel like those that show the most, crash the hardest. For those I want to know about my love life, I will personally tell them.
HEY TMT! the strength of your team is that you guys can really connect to the audience emotionally. I feel like that's your strength. hope to see more from u guys!!
Nice one. Sometimes, relationship need to be kept to each other. Sometimes when you keep on updating your status, others could get annoyed and some will get jealous...
This...This...This.... Video is so great.. People keep posting too much and after posting its a full stop next day same thing repeating and cycle continues till something is really wrong. Thumbs up.... For the girl :P
Thank you so much for this video. One of the best youtube video ever, not just from your team but the entire youtube universe. Emily did really well. This is a good reminder for me.
Always thought it's better to keep relationships offline.. The relationship should just be between the couple and not the couple and their entire friends list. It's sad to think some people actually date purely for social media attention.
No your relationship should be yours, people will always see how happy you are and see the things you do but things together are special and need to be kept together. I when through the same thing with my wife posting everything even about our marriage, good and bad, and chose to end social media and we are so much better now that we handle our problems not everyone else. This is a Great video!!!
Yes! People will see it. They'll know. Something are just worth keeping to yourself rather than publicising. Make memories with your people. Love your work Ming. Keep going. Waiting up for more inspirations.
How much is too much when it comes to publicising your life or even more private, your love life... on social media? Tell us about your thoughts and experiences or any stories that you know of in the comments! :)
that's what happen to nowadays peoples.. everything want to update.. from whatever they do till whatever that they feel.. and when something bad happen, the person who read the status immediately jump to the conclusion without knowing the truth..
+TheMingThing For certain memorable events in our life maybe it would be nice to post things out however if you keep posting every single things out i mean the tiny things that you do, that would be suck. and in relationship as for me, couple can easily be broken thus beware when you post things out however for people in marriage it would be diff but still privacy is a must anyway nice video love it
+Hani shifaa especially when that person still in schooling and already in a relationship, and for the fact that they going to have a lots of breakup happen.. even when that person working, they haven't confirm when they getting married.. even when they married, they wouldn't know how long they would last.. the better way is we don't really need facebook or twitter or instagram in our life..
Now this, this is THEMINGTHING! Love it, love how real this is. The reality of what actually goes on behind those lovey dovey pictures. Always proud of local talent that produce good quality like this. I'm no movie filmmaker or whatever, but I do appreciate art, hard work and originality. And I appreciate this. :) Keep it up and God bless!
I'm really loving the message that The Unplugged Project is trying to reach out. And may I say, wow! The standards that you have set for all UA-camrs out there is definitely high! I just love every aspect of the videos under this project, especially the soundtracks!!! Keep it up! You have my full support :)
"I don't want to share us around so much. I want you to myself. I want us to ourselves." I MELTED Such a good short film. Thanks so much for making it! :''''')))))
I believe something's are supposed to be personal and shouldn't be posted online, those who post selfies and photos of themselves too much are just craving for attention, don't take it the wrong maybe I am wrong. There are all ways two points of views about a these things
Damn man that was deep. The message was very very strong and relatable to our generation nowadays. That's one of the best short films i've ever seen man. Thanks!
can't put myself into words after watching this video. it's really accurate and should be sth that couples or friends can relate and stop posting much on social media. sometimes, it's good to enjoy seeing the comments and all but again, you have an actual life so don't live online too much.
The film should ends at 3:40 mark for greater impact and being more suggestive. But I agree if the aim was to appeal to more audience this 11:49 duration was good. because not everyone knows literature appreciation. Just my 2 cents, I'm a writer too.
Welp....this short clip just about sums it all up! So glad i got off Facebook for about six months now and back into life again...I dont miss it at all! Thank you for this...great film! 👏🏾👏🏾
I have personally been a big fan of your videos, knowing how meaningful your videos could be. Please upload more of these! Good job and kudos there! Cheers buddy!
9:45 the realistic response from your woman would be: "What, are you embarrassed of me?!" Then she'd proceed to shut the door on you again and write more passive aggressive shit on social media.
Totally agreed with this video, so real. Yeah, put your phone down while you with your love one or family, try to appreciate time with them... And, love, not to only show to others, while you have to really put your effort in loving your love one.!!!
Well its so amazing that we have made smart phones smarter and we haven't realised how addicted to them we have become and we really are becoming too dependant on them that we've forgotten what is important! Great video btw! amazing work!
you guys are so so so, good. the best youtube short film i've watched in the past few months. first rated, good job! and i really agree with your point. sharing is sweet, joyable and nice. but some things are better kept to ourselves, its making you feels more comfortable with each other, relaxing, secure & you'll felt all those things you can't feel from sharing online. subscribed your channel after watching this.
Fantastically directed, filmed and edited. I love the hole message and story behind it. The fact that we couldn't really understand the dialogue was great, never seen this before.

You are not alone. LOLLLLLL!
same!
+Ting Hue i know what you mean @-@
+TheMingThing OMG hiiiiii❤❤❤
He's right. Some things are better kept in private. It's not important that you need to brag your relationship on social media. What matter is that you two are on the same page. That you know your real score and that you are happy.
Gotta show this to my girlfriend...if i ever get one... :'(
+victor1x0 ^
😂😂😂😂
One like = people in need XD
It's a trap bro 😂😂😂
I have no words... except that this is FLIPPING AMAZING AND THAT IT'S THE BEST THING I'VE EVER WATCHED!!! Most of all, it speaks to us.
Nice story and 100% true... 👍
Watch this guy for the first time and his particular video's script and delivery is amazing! It's just another inspiration as a 1st year film student to learn from.
this is really meaningful
we dont really need to show people everything
some things are just best kept to ourselves like relationships you don't need other people's opinion to be happy but its not wrong to brag about it too but just don't go overboard
especially to couples these days(keep in mind)
its lucky to have someone who can explain u things like this n loves u n understands u..
Awesome stuff! haha can see the haze in one of the shots!
+The Userguide Films hahah when life gives you haze - pretend its not :P best fog machine in the world! lol
+yongpeng shiow thank you man! i hope... you don't mind how we might just be going back to negative IQ for the next video x) haha!
+TheMingThing yes please! As much as we love this, we miss the comedy stuffs too
Sure thing man! I don't mind if it's negative but make sure it's good enough to impress me xD Can't wait for your next video!
Yes! True! A relationship is something personal, intimate. It's not something you'd like to fill pages of social media. I understand and I agree with this subject. 💜
Beautiful video!! Such a realistic approach. This is what happens when you open up too much about your life online.
really really love this short. its all so real and this happens to people in this generation and sometimes you don't even know if two people are together for themselves or for the sake of the internet
lessonlearned : Have a relationship with ur phone. LOL just jokin.
love the film :-)
Wow, this hit me right in the heart. Just 4 months ago my boyfriend and I had broken up. Like the relationship in the video, we were living it. Watching this short film was like looking at a mirror as to how our relationship was like. I, too, was guilty of always wanting the right picture and posting a lot of stuff that many people commented much the same in the film. Months passed and we have now been talking again. Disregarding this public comment, we ,too, are focusing on just being together rather than showcasing our lives to everyone like before. #relateable 😊
I'd also like to say how wonderfully produced this film is.
Ming three single guys watched this... TOGETHER...
Three single guys react to :TMT
sounds like a plan
+TheSaladShow love each other well
I love this film. It shows us how to make a proper use of technology. The key seems to be honest communication as this couple shows us.
This is amazing, but I have one question though. HOW IS SHE STILL SO PRETTY AFTER CRYING?! If I could find out how she does that I would be so happy.
Honestly one of the best short films I've ever seen. Very beautiful and very relevant. Thank you for making this.
Just stumbled upon this video. Awesome! You guys are Wong-Fu esque!!
Same, haha
I think UA-cam targetted the WongFu4Lyfers and put this video in the suggestions
haha. even i came here from wong fu
As I have posted before, memories are better stored through your heart and mind, not on photos. They are much more cherishing.
what is the project about?
that's what happen to nowadays peoples.. everything want to update.. from whatever they do till whatever that they feel.. and when something bad happen, the person who read the status immediately jump to the conclusion without knowing the truth..
+TheMingThing For certain memorable events in our life maybe it would be nice to post things out however if you keep posting every single things out i mean the tiny things that you do, that would be suck. and in relationship as for me, couple can easily be broken thus beware when you post things out however for people in marriage it would be diff but still privacy is a must
anyway nice video love it
+Hani shifaa especially when that person still in schooling and already in a relationship, and for the fact that they going to have a lots of breakup happen.. even when that person working, they haven't confirm when they getting married.. even when they married, they wouldn't know how long they would last.. the better way is we don't really need facebook or twitter or instagram in our life..
+Ratna Sari Dewi We need it for many other reasons but apparently updating all the tiny messy stuff about your relationship is no the one
One day , one day people doing these are gonna gettttt STALKED
I'm really loving the message that The Unplugged Project is trying to reach out. And may I say, wow! The standards that you have set for all UA-camrs out there is definitely high!
I just love every aspect of the videos under this project, especially the soundtracks!!! Keep it up! You have my full support :)
They paint a picture of a smooth relationship on the Internet, but they're being torn apart. It's getting way too real.
"I don't want to share us around so much. I want you to myself. I want us to ourselves." I MELTED
Such a good short film.
Thanks!
what a horrible way to break up 6:57
Really like how you guys depict a realistic situation that is a common occurrence nowadays and making one with so much meaning! Great piece :)
What has phones done to us..
phones havent done a thing.. its us who accepted easily to get distracted away of priorities by simplest stuff, n phones were one of those stuff.
This girl focuses more on what people thinks of her.
can't put myself into words after watching this video. it's really accurate and should be sth that couples or friends can relate and stop posting much on social media. sometimes, it's good to enjoy seeing the comments and all but again, you have an actual life so don't live online too much.
The film should ends at 3:40 mark for greater impact and being more suggestive. But I agree if the aim was to appeal to more audience this 11:49 duration was good. because not everyone knows literature appreciation. Just my 2 cents, I'm a writer too.
Word.
Welp....this short clip just about sums it all up! So glad i got off Facebook for about six months now and back into life again...I dont miss it at all! Thank you for this...great film! 👏🏾👏🏾
You're on 9gag!
We heard!! And that's crazy!!!

Poignant! Good to see that you guys have portrayed "today's" life in such an apt manner. Kudos!!
The truth about couples today.
Totally agreed with this video, so real. Yeah, put your phone down while you with your love one or family, try to appreciate time with them...
And, love, not to only show to others, while you have to really put your effort in loving your love one.!!!
#foreveralone
Still alone ? 😅
Well its so amazing that we have made smart phones smarter and we haven't realised how addicted to them we have become and we really are becoming too dependant on them that we've forgotten what is important!
Great video btw! amazing work!
we shouldn't crave for the attention we don't seek.
you guys are so so so, good. the best youtube short film i've watched in the past few months. first rated, good job! and i really agree with your point. sharing is sweet, joyable and nice. but some things are better kept to ourselves, its making you feels more comfortable with each other, relaxing, secure & you'll felt all those things you can't feel from sharing online.
subscribed your channel after watching this.
error 404: girlfriend not found
Fantastically directed, filmed and edited. I love the hole message and story behind it. The fact that we couldn't really understand the dialogue was great, never seen this before.
