The first time...hard to say..I had to go out and get the sockets as I came across the different size bolts, and I had no idea I could've accessed the connections from above, so that took FOREVER trying to disconnect, and then reconnect, everything from below. That first time, my tank only had about 2-3 gallons in it, and I had a helper to lower it down and empty it out. I don't know how long it would take to empty the tank using the electrical connections, or if that would damage those connections by using them so much. I wish I had an easy answer for you. I'd guess this is a job someone could do in about 4-8 hours if they knew what they were doing and didn't take a bunch of breaks and weren't trying to record anything...?

3rd gen - a 2011 specifically
