All jokes aside, I love Venom's dialogue here. Both Harry and the symbiote have rejected and are trying to "prove" themselves to their peers.
Yeah. I think that the Symbiote was never evil to begin with. It’s like the saying “It’s not the weapon, it’s the man behind the weapon”. That Symbiote learned from Harry, then from Peter from wanting to become a hero, but then took the wrong turn when most people sees him as the bad guy (blaming J.J. Jameson) so Venom was corrupted by the fact, then back to Harry after being rejected then both driven the desire to “Heal the world”.

It depends, did it always want to turn the planet into goo city or only until it recognized that peters friends considered it a threat and there fore putting it into a position of fear
Because we can see that it cares for Peter outside of it recognizing him as its perfect host, from its dialogue to simply putting a blanket over him
All lines belongs to Harry. He said all of this to Peter and Norman. Symbiot doing nothing
He slightly jumped on the other desk and politely ask _"Where is the rest of it?"_ xd

Man I can hear Harry saying this to his father desperate for his approval and attention but not enough to surpass his own desperation to stay alive and save everyone
Hell even in the comics Norman treats Harry badly and makes him not feel as if he is worthy of being his son and sees Peter more like the one he wanted

I like how Venom is entirely correct here. He *is* healthy, near-peerlessly strong, and he is Norman's son. This is exactly what Norm asked for, hea;thy and strong again, at all costs. Venom gave him exactly that, maybe ol Osborn should have also stipulated "with untainted free will", but what can you expect from fusing a sapient **alien** with your kid?
On top of that, Norman ignored all of Conners’ warnings and released Harry despite the danger. And yet he refuses to take any responsibility for
which is honestly an inteteresting take on venom too. vs a paraistic force, it is a true symbiote, but it is not human and barely comprehends their values and desires and thus goes overboard. To it, its rational to infect all of humanity with its offspring cause its the easiest path to achieving a healed world.
Same with spidey. He said “save my son”, that was his only wish. Because connor’s thought he’d have to be killed to remove the symbiote. Yet both spiders went out of there way to save harry despite the odds and he was still upset. It’s as if he doesn’t know what he wants
Norman be experiencing the same choke over and over again- like this guy is everyone’s target for no reason (wait there is)
Tbf, most of the problems all root from him, especially in the first game with Otto and Martin

@@siphonophoresYea the big threats in game 1 and 2 are caused by him. His arrogance and corruption leads to Doc Ock and his obsession with Devil’s Breath (which admittedly if i recall was to help his wife’s genetic disorder) led to Mister Negative. In game 2 his desperation to save Harry (a noble goal) unleashes Venom which he didn’t really know much about the Symbiote but still put it on Harry. I honestly really like this version of Norman cause on one hand we see his egotistical personality but on the other we see he does have a heart for his wife and son.

I really like the fact that this version of Venom is clearly taking all of the positive aspects of the version of Venom from the movies, while at the same time making them comic-accurate.

This is my personal favorite venom scene in the game. It really shows how blurred the line between the symbiote and Harry is at this point (hence the we) while also making it clear venom is in charge
I like how the symbiote in this game really just reveals the true intentions of the host, more so than just blatantly making them evil. The symbiote on turned "evil" once Peter got it because he secretly was repressing his emotions, and since he negatively affected hs loved ones with it, they became corrupted when they had the symbiote too.
Thats also something I really enjoy as well. In the final battle as well there are lines where you can hear both Harry and Venom while there are some where its mostly one. For example when Peter says Harry stayed over even when his mom got sick and Venom says “we couldn’t see her like that” with a lot of emotion behind it which implies to me that that was Harry talking. Than later on with Miles Venom is saying he turned Peter against them and that they know what he did in the forest which Miles even says “thats the symbiote talking not you”.
Ok seriously this is the best venom design ever
This and the Raimi Venom are good. I hate the Tom Hardy venom. No Knull symbol and way too funny

I love this scene VENOM naming all things Norman wanted in his son and Venom hurting him and no sign of Harry being against it shows Harry not caring for his father pure Symbiote corruption.

According to the canons of comics, cartoons and games (With the exception of Hardy films), the symbiote does not control the human body. You are at the controls, you turn into a monster, you can jump high, fly on a spider web, fight with tentacles and more. You are able to do whatever you want with this power. The symbiote can only talk to you in your mind, or distort your feelings, thoughts and memory (if the symbiote is evil).
Love how some scenes you can hear venom inhaling after he speaks. Absolutely menacing little detail to fantastic voice acting
You can also feel it in the controller sometimes! I don't remember if you can hear, but I remember being able to feel it right after the Symbiote chases MJ while Peter is asleep!

By far the fucking scariest version of Venom we've gotten outside of the comics since Ultimate Spider-Man which is no surprise considering it's Tony "Candyman" Todd as the VA. The delivery on "This is what you wanted...... *Isn't it?...."* and his expression just gives me shivers every time
Norman just doesn't learn. First he pissed off a scientist and drove him insane to the point where he almost killed him, then he puts a literal alien within his own son, which made him go insane to the point where he almost killed him. Now, he's reaaally lost it and thinks that his all-time savior beat up his son unjustly and is now going to inject the G serum, which, well... we know how that went in the movie.
Any possibility for "little goblin junior" to make a comeback?

Not to mention Martin Lee, although I don't know if Norman killing his parents was on purpose or not. I'm still a bit confused on how that happened.

One thing we can all agree. The symbol on his chest to his back just shows that he's more than just Venom. He's the best KIND of Venom. He has wings, overpowered black tentacles, and can turn PEOPLE into SYMBIOTES. well, until the meteorite took its turn. This Venom is 100% an Avengers level threat.
Tony his voice is so chilling as venom it's just absolutely amazing and brilliant and I love it we need more brilliant actors like this for venom for generations to come honestly
i find it funny how norman seems reasonable like asking venom to give him back his son and not being that guy that tries to stop the hero like "i can fix him thats my son dont hurt him" only for him to actually act like that at the end of the game

Sometimes I can’t tell which part of Harry would say he always hated his father for not being there for him.
Harry's always had these feelings towards his father. It was often buried under his fear of losing another parent and being alone, but the hatred was always there. Becoming the Green Goblin himself is just like him being Venom: both are conduits to those feelings of anger towards Norman. Venom's however more focused on the main course of the problem, while Green Goblin lashed out at everyone.

Look at web of shadows venom talks without even moving his mouth. Basically venom just mimics the movements and expressions and the host is actually the one speaking
We need a tongue to talk, not lips. If you open up ur lips (both up and bottom) you can still talk. And its too late when Venom flays Harry's mind. So Venom makes Harry talk or he talks by himself.
@@BigCatnapDominus This. Lips help form words and such, but they aren't truly nessecary. However, even if he'd need lips for some of what he says to be clear...he's got Harry in there. So in a way he's using Harry's mouth. Or, more accurately, they've agreed that both Harry and the Symbiote can use one another.
