Regarding the “Pizza Debate Strategy”: I think it does comes off a bit disrespectful especially for boomers. The best way to handle this would probably be Destiny just informing his debate partner that he didn’t have time earlier/or whatever just to let them know it’s not a disrespect thing because a lot of us are culturally programmed to feel like it otherwise.
Ultimately it’s not important and it is ridiculous to consider it a debate strategy, but it bothered my inner boomer on an optics level a bit.

Chewing food doesn't bother me at all, and you hardly, if ever, actually hear him chew. At worst, he would talk with his mouth full. I find this whole thing as seeing it as "disrespectful" to be pretty ridiculous. It's not like he's in some high tension situation where every ounce of his focus is required. I think anyone who finds it disrespectful is way too full of themselves.

So, in other words, people should get rid of their nice tools and work much harder to make the a smaller amount of product, likely at worse quality, but now at a higher worth because you didn't use the tools available to you.

His counter to this would likely be to say that "onerousness" also includes any intellectual effort put into the work.
You can still work harder or lazier with said tools, I don’t think anyone (even Michael) is saying we should revert back to monkey to be paid more. There’s a high chance that you’d likely be required by the workers councils to use said tools to help produce more anyways, it’s about how much effort you put in while using said tools

God I never got the Destiny jokes and stuff until he just explained it because I know so many destiny’s IRL
I've worked at a restaurant (was called Humphrey in midtown Manhattan) and that wasn't the case at all. Employees weren't allowed to take cigarette breaks and people didn't hang out during bathroom breaks. I was constantly in jeopardy of losing my job because my five o clock shadow annoyed the guy from corporate and my boss was publicly fired on the dining room floor by the same guy and left in tears. What we did get in trouble for was eating leftover food or drinking leftover wine from the hotel happy hour at the end of the shift bc the leftovers were for "City Harvest" despite it being my job to scrape all of the leftover into the garbage at the end of the night. After leaving that job I did however get informed that other employees were taking legal action against the restaurant for wage theft.

I mean Destiny's just wrong when he critiques the use of the word 'authoritarian'. As an adjective the word is used to describe the enforcement of obedience, and is actually applicable to the examples that Destiny makes out to be ridiculous. I don't think that this is necessarily bad, as people shouldn't have total freedom to do whatever they want, especially when they agree to participate in a system which limits said freedom in exchange for personal benefits, however acting like an authority figure setting out rules which must be followed is not authoritarian in nature is pretty disingenuous .
Ironically they keep talking about how no one should tell anyone when they can go to the bathroom, but they're all mad when he's eating the pizza at a time they don't want

These signals inhibit the aggressiveness of his opponents, but that leaves them exposed to further debate tactics... Crikey...

If you're in the service industry you need to plan your breaks out.
If your in technology or some kind of development work, unless your directly telling someone "Hey I need to go potty" then you're likely going whenever you want.
Each industry requires you to be adult enough to go to the bathroom, and unless you have some condition (where you should probably communicate this to your manager) then generally this is only an issue a 15 year old whose never worked in this world would position themselves towards.
