What do we want? Studio vlogs! When do we want them? Well, as often as possible really, but not too often because Heather is an actual working artist with lots of projects on the go, but she's also really fun to watch, so maybe once a week, although we don't want to be pushy, just want her to know that she's liked and appreciated without piling on the pressure because pressure is not good for artists, except when they have deadlines, maybe, like the Halloween drop, but it's whatever, Heather knows what she's doing, and we'll watch regardless. 😊
Great repair job! If you have to use the punch needle again, next time, feed the yarn through the hole at the tip of the needle. Then, it'll work very much the same as a loop-pile tufting gun without you haven't to physically grab them on the other side.
I like the idea of a smaller garland with the bookend bats on each. It will be a lot easier to hang and won't be as heavy. You are a genius for figuring out how to repair the hole! As always, you are amazing and beautiful, and I'm sending you love!!!! Tell Sean HI!!!! ❤
I love the 2 shirt thought. Maybe you could do a hoodie or something with the both heart halves design. And the shirts can be each side of heart separately
You should just fill the heart all the way in with a solid color and make a match for it so you just have an extra rug you didn't even plan on making. And the split shirt is a really cute idea too!! 💜
The bats on each end of the garland is soooooo cute, I freaking love it. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face and when my husband is around he always sings your outro 🤣
Great job on the repair! And another cool teachable moment on using the hand rug tool. The heart currently on there: Could you use a thinner gesso or a thinner white paint to block over or at least dimish the existing marker without blocking the fabric weave? Normally I would suggest a white acrylic paint pen but just not sure, you would have to test. The heart t-shirts- just put them online and see how it goes. You can always put the whole design on a single shirt as an option. DO IT!!😊 The garlands: great to turn into 2. If you left them all loose(not anchored) the new owners would be able to adjust at will. These are just thoughts... Lovely Vlog!!! You are my favorite UA-camR!❤❤
Yes I did end up using gesso! It seems to have worked but I haven’t tufted into it yet. Yes!! I do think I’m just going to go for it with the shirts! Yessss I’m very excited about the two garlands! Ahhh 🥹💕 thank you soo much! I appreciate you!
As someone else mentioned, you could fill in the heart with a solid color! Maybe one half black with like a different spooky color (green, purple or orange?) for the highlights, and then do the other half the spooky color with the highlights as black! Hope that makes sense 😅😅 but I think that’d made a super cute rug set! Also your shirt design idea would be awesome! You could do the 2 shirt idea with the separate halves but you could also keep the design whole for a different shirt ☺️ whatever you end up deciding, I’m sure it’ll look great!
Now I wanna make rugssss😅 my husband is gonna kill me, when he comes home and sees a tarp hanging across the room 😆 🤣 😂 I love ya girl! Your videos make me happy😊❤
You might be able to remove the sharpie ink with rubbing alcohol. Place a paper towel behind the image, dip a cloth or sponge in rubbing alcohol and gently apply it to the stain. Dab around the stain first, then directly on it.
For that "death do us part" design, you could tuft them into rugs to buy together to put on both sides of beds or something too, so it's not just on t-shirts (though that idea is super cute too). It makes sense that it's on 2 shirts as well. :3
I just love you so much. Love how you fixed that hole. Just for beginners what did you do to the back to hold the stitches when you were done? Did you need to knot anything or just leave it loose and once it was glued it would hold? You make me smile so much when I watch you craft. Is there a way you could use something white to cover it like paint just to trace it will that ruin the Fabric to tuft through? I love the garland but I think you should end with another bat if it’s not too heavy. I think having three bats would be cool but up to you.
You should just tuft it from the other side!! Darken the outline so you can see it from the back and then tidy it from there that way it’ll be correct! (Unless there’s a reason you can’t 😮)
Hello, I don't normally comment but I had an idea for sorting the heart boo boo and it involves tip-ex or just white paint over the wrong lines so you won't get confused when you put the reversed image in. I hope that is helpful
Hey girl!! I found your channel a couple weeks ago and I LOVE your tufting viedos!!! Keep up the amazing work and soon maybe you'll be seeing my tufting videos up here!! You've given me lots of advice whether you meant to or not lol
Way to make a comeback!!! I’ve never used a manual punch but I’m getting one now! I can see how useful it could be for those small patches of color on a rug when the machine is too much. Have you ever tried burlap instead of tufting cloth? It would be a great alternative for things like the garland, for both the weight and cost.
With your heart design you could use a different color to trace it out or you could trace the design backwards on the other side of the fabric? Maybe? Edit: you could also double up the ribbon to make it stronger or using a thick hemp rope, it could give it a rustic look and you could try to dye it black. I don’t know if that work but just spouting out ideas for you.
For the 'til (short for until, so I think technically it's just one L?)...regardless I immediately shouted SOCKS at my phone when you were showing 'til death do is part design. So either socks or embroidered patches for that design would be so cute! Also it would feel like more bang for your buck maybe? 💔
OK this may be a stupid advice and just me not knowing anything about the tufting world, but can you just like spray bleach the marker spot and let it dry? Also, I know you probably don’t care, but while I’m here I might as well just say that I can’t stop reading it as DOUS. Lol 🤦🏼♀️

Exactly. You can say that again.
Lmao 🥹💕 I appreciate you sooo much! Thank you ❤️
Speak for yourself, I want them EVERY DAY! (Totally kidding, I completely agree lol)

Heatherrrrrrrrrrrr 🎉 your videos bring me such joy it’s always nice to hang out. And yes the loops look great!
Ahhh!! That makes me so happy 🥹💕 thank you!!

You’re literally my comfort UA-camr. I could watch your vlogs for hours! It feels like we’re hanging out 😂
maybe with the spare room on your tufting screen make some small pumpkins for your garlands. All looks so great !!!
I love that future Heather has got it together.... I'm going to use that one! 😍
These are my fave vids! I love seeing the process in an informal way! 🎃
The important thing to remember is to have fun!!!!

You are my favorite UA-camR!❤❤
That’s what I thought! A white marker or white paint that hopefully won’t cover the weave too much.
Yes I did end up using gesso! It seems to have worked but I haven’t tufted into it yet. Yes!! I do think I’m just going to go for it with the shirts! Yessss I’m very excited about the two garlands! Ahhh 🥹💕 thank you soo much! I appreciate you!

Thank you so much!! 💕
Now I wanna make rugssss😅 my husband is gonna kill me, when he comes home and sees a tarp hanging across the room 😆 🤣 😂 I love ya girl! Your videos make me happy😊❤
Resourcefulness! An artist's go-to😅! I was thinking that or even some cute little star or button ... Lookin' Great!😊😊😊
Aww that would’ve been cute too! Thank you! 💕
I like 3 shirts. 1 with the whole heart and then 2 with opposite halves of the heart. Give us the choice.
I love your designs! They are so cute.
Thank you so much!! 💕
Tee shirts idea!? Great idea!
Yeesss thank you so much! 💕
Love your videos and personality. Keep going, you are awesome 👍🏻🥰💙
Thank you so much! I appreciate you 🥹💕
So that bat would look awesome on the center of a curtain rod between Halloween curtains
Ooooooohhh my, it really would haha that’s such a good idea! 💕
Will you be selling any bats separately? I love all of your Halloween rugs, but would love to have a bat to hang above our fireplace. Love them.
You might be able to remove the sharpie ink with rubbing alcohol. Place a paper towel behind the image, dip a cloth or sponge in rubbing alcohol and gently apply it to the stain. Dab around the stain first, then directly on it.
Could you spray paint the canvas white to cover the design then trace it again?

wow i’m so early! love you madwoman!!🫶🏼🤭
So much love to you!! 💕✨
You should just tuft it from the other side!!

Maybe try sponging on rubbing alcohol on the sharpie?? 🙃I cannot wait to be able to do mine 🥰🥰 loooooove your stuff 🫶🫶 Love ya 🫰🏽🫰🏽
Can you trace it on the other side and tuft it from the "back"
Hello, I don't normally comment but I had an idea for sorting the heart boo boo and it involves tip-ex or just white paint over the wrong lines so you won't get confused when you put the reversed image in. I hope that is helpful
Yesss!! Such a good idea! I tried gesso & it seems to have worked. Thank you so much! 💕
Maybe you could also do a black nylon or hemp rope to hold the garland? Since it can handle a bit more weight.
Ooo that’s not a bad idea!! The ribbon seems to be okay with the smaller garland set! 💕
Hey girl!! I found your channel a couple weeks ago and I LOVE your tufting viedos!!! Keep up the amazing work and soon maybe you'll be seeing my tufting videos up here!! You've given me lots of advice whether you meant to or not lol
Love your blogs
Thank you so much! 💕

Ooo burlap, I haven’t tried that but that’d be interesting to see if it worked! 💕
@@ArtsyMadwoman it’s easier to rip through when tufting and you must staple it or it will get too loose on the frame. Cost wise, well worth it.
Can you tuft from the back to save the heart? 🤔
I don't know too much about tufting but can you work it from the other side? Like can you make that one be the wrong side on the front side... 🥴
Use a paint marker to fix the heart?
hi hun could tou not tuff the heart from the otherside? just a guess i had never seen a rug tuffed tell you done it lol
For the 'til (short for until, so I think technically it's just one L?)...regardless I immediately shouted SOCKS at my phone when you were showing 'til death do is part design.
So either socks or embroidered patches for that design would be so cute! Also it would feel like more bang for your buck maybe? 💔
The t -shit idea is great. Maybe sell them as a bundle of 2 ?
Could you just tuft the till death do us part from the other side?
Paint the fabric with white gesso and then redraw?
Yesss!! This is what I tried, so far it’s worked! 💕
Can’t you paint “whiteout” and start over?
Is that a Halloween Bulbasaur with a pumpkin in his back sticker in the background???
Heather, would you ever consider tufting more of the vines in your background to sell?
I would but I would want to back it properly like with thin wood or something like that. That’d be such a cool idea though! 💕
For the heart design, next time you want 'til rather than till (which is a cash register lol)
Love your videos!
GAASPPP OMG YOURE RIGHT!! I was meant to mess it up haha thank you 😂💕
Your nails are amazing! Did you do them yourself; if so how?!
I did! I do press ons with a really good glue & then gel polish! I have all my nail stuff linked in my amazon store if you wanted to see what I use! 💕
Can you email it to yourself on the iPad and open it on you pc ❤ don’t know if it will work but it worth trying xox 😊
i want to convert image into dst format
❤❤❤❤
💚💚💚
Paint over it with white fabric paint and start over..
💕
Can’t you just tuft it from the other side?
Clean off the ink with rubbing alcohol and then redo it.
Tuft the heart from behind 💔
Tbh....the trees in the bat moon rug Look like coral reef to me..js shoulda just left them out
Oh yeah haha they do kinda look like that. I like how it looks with the trees better 😊
OK this may be a stupid advice and just me not knowing anything about the tufting world, but can you just like spray bleach the marker spot and let it dry?
Also, I know you probably don’t care, but while I’m here I might as well just say that I can’t stop reading it as DOUS. Lol 🤦🏼♀️
Not sure if it's too late, but can U paint over the heart and redraw it? 🫶
