Thank you!! Unfortunately, Robert’s Carpet Adhesive isn’t washable because once the adhesive comes in contact with water it breaks down. I recommend using a spot treatment and/or putting your rug into a low foot traffic area to avoid it getting dirty. I hope that helps!!
@@CreationsbyKaleighI used Roberts 6700 and it doesn’t dry completely. It remains sticky where the material can be peeled back. Also I used it as my backing glue and it soaked through the backing fabric leaving a visible stain. So it doesn’t have a tidy finishing look.
@@NSmith-mr4hy I use Roberts 3095 and when it dries, it doesn’t harden it remains tacky. I recommend leaving it to dry for 24 hours or until the adhesive isn’t still wet, then add your backing fabric with spray adhesive.
Thank you for showing me how to back it much easier
I’m glad I can help!!
The twill tape is a game changer…thanks for the tutorial.
I’m glad I can help!! Thank you for watching😊

Thanks!
You’re welcome!!
Ma'am please tell me backing fabric name i don't understand
In this video, I’m using ‘Felt Non Slip Backing Fabric’. You can find it on Amazon!!
What did you use to glue down the backing fabric?
You can use spray adhesive to glue down the backing fabric!!
What glue do you use for backing the rug?
I use Robert’s 3096 Carpet Adhesive. I highly recommend this carpet adhesive for your tufted projects!!
