    There is something intangible in Louis that makes him so damn likeable

      I think it's quite tangible. His friendliness and enthusiasm levels are >9000 and his threat level is 0.

      Look at 3:40. Even the way he talks about literally being in pain is positive sounding.

      He is simply adorable - especially at 1:10 when he walks back to get the camera he left. He's kind of the human version of a puppy.

    Loads of videos show that walking away from the camera in solo videos and I always think how ridiculous it is because they need to walk back for the camera 🤣

    Not sure if you're looking for video ideas, so ignore this if not, but I was wondering if you could make a video about how to be a good spotter for outdoor bouldering? Could also include best ways to place pads on uneven terrain and when to move pads while the climber is moving.

    This was awesome. I can relate to getting impatient and not remembering to climb smarter not harder. REST is a great word, but hard to practice when the excitement and adrenaline is going, but take time to slow down. This is proof that it DOES work.

    Awesome to see some outdoor bouldering! It's slapping season, good boulder choice, working on a similar compression roof project! Not sending as fast though!!
    I find it interesting that the rock with the jug on the left is in, usually when it's not part of the same rock it's out. What are the rules over there, is it specifically mentioned in the guidebook that it's in? Not questioning your send, just wondering as a beginner/intermediate outdoor boulderer!

    Great bloc, considered a peak classic this and the stand start alone is one of the hardest 7A/V6s in the peak to boot. I had to tie a sock to my left wrist because the span means your left hand is essentially at a 90 degree angle against the rock. Always fun seeing people work this one out, especially when the top gets underestimated 😂

    • @joolsgrommers1466

    • @Carlosallouchimontero
      @Carlosallouchimontero 2 роки тому

      @@danicoman961 tying a sock to my wrist meant the rock didn’t cut into my wrist, you can hear Louis complaining about the same thing in the video, expect my span is a lot smaller meaning my wrist rubs against the edge of the rock even more

    Nice send! I’ve never climbed outdoors but have been wondering, what happens if you go to a boulder like this and flash it? Do you just pack up and leave if there aren’t any other boulders around? Seems like a long way to go for such a short challenge if so!

      There are some variations along the left side of the block, 2 I think, all similar grades but quite different. Still, only a short walk away is The Boss 8B/+(ish), AN more to do not too much further.. (Burbage South is very close)
