Bricklaying will it stay up

this week just a short video installing lintel into house, new window had been fitted and brickwork came loose so window firm asked us to put a lintel into external leaf.had to sit lintel on split course which isn't ideal but that's what we had to do to enable us to reuse existing bricks so no obvious sign of any repair work.hope you enjoy and please like and subscribe it helps massively, not best footage this week as still learning and having go pro problems.

Would it not have looked better putting a channel in the back of the half bricks so it shows a half instead of a piece😊

Probably would have but was doing job for someone else who was telling me which way they wanted it, so just done as I was told then I can’t be wrong for getting paid from awkward customer tbh 👍
