Nothing wrong with wah in rock soloing
Kirk (unfairly) cops a lot of stick about his playing … but he nailed that. They all did. Bloody brilliant!
All of the Kirk haters are clueless fools - you don't get to be in the world's biggest (and best) metal band, have a wildly successful 37+ year career, and influence hundreds of thousands of guitarists unless you're an outstanding musician.
@@dowens3781 totally agree.
@@dowens3781 Thank you
He's no John Petrucci but he's excellent in his own right.
@@dowens3781 You're so right. Every solo he's ever done fits the song perfectly and that's what it's about. This is no exception, it's tasteful and an amazing tribute to Peter Green. The tone is 🔥.
Wow if only Kirk Hammett played like that all the time 😳 Greeny sounds amazing
..damn, Kirk playing Greens Paul!!..live..with the Reverend Billy G testifying on the Mike..sweet..stay strong and stay safe..New York May 18, 2021..
BFG & Kirk just took this masterpiece to a different level !!!!
Boy , Mick Fleetwood knows some top shelf dudes !
With Greenie in his hands, it's like Kirk became an "instrument" too. What a great discovery this performance is for all involved. Stunned at how great and true it is!
Absolutely fantastic performance.
I love me some Manalishi !!! Kirk absolutely killed it !!! As did they all ! 👏👏👏👏👏
I'd say.....Mick's got some pretty cool friends.
I am old enough to be able to say that I saw Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac perform this live. Have also seen John Mayall's Blues Breakers and Christine McVie when she played with Chicken Shack. Today's "music" just doesn't compare.
The REAL Fleetwood Mac days.
Good to see Rick Vito playing slide guitar for them, still jamming with Mick after all these years. Wish he wouldve been back with Fleetwood Mac when Lindsey was let go that last time.
I was at this show ... my last concert before this Covid-misery .... it was great to attend ... cool to watch it again ... :-)
Brilliant solo by Kirk
A stunningly good performance by all. I am in awe over how in sync Mick Fleetwood and Zak Starkey are; best since Phil Collins and Chester Thompson
Some pretty cool stuff here with the Billy gibbons and Kirk Hammett and gang
Mick Fleetwood has a great sense of 'space' on the drum kit.
Jesus…. That Les Paul still sounds exactly the same as the record… ❤🔥👌
The journey of this guitar.......Peter Green, Fleetwood Mac, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, the songs this guitar is played on.....Damn........and then on the road with Metallica....Good on ya Kirk!
The best playing I´ve heard from Kirk. Great performance from everyone. I didn´t even know that Judas Priest did a cover. By Judas Priest it was one of my favorites of their songs but I do think this one is even better.
JP has done a few covers including Diamonds and Rust.
So much, dare I say too much? talent on that stage. I honestly don't know how it didn't collapse from the load! Kirk bring sounds out of that guitar that probably haven't been heard since Peter played it. Mick giving Zach more than a run for his money on the skins. Billy's voice being just perfect for that tune. The bassist giving just the correct contrast to the melody coming from the guitars. Just a purely overwhelming performance. Beyond well done by all!!!
I consider that song
One of the greatest of all time
🎵🌟🎸🥁🌟🎵
What an awesome version of one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. So many great ones, but this one, wow, incredible!
This is my favourite Fleetwood track, so many memories of way back then.
The metal god would just love it too.
No doubt!
Mick Fleetwood is a killer fuckin drummer 🤘🏻
the most famous piece of crafted wood there is being played still after all these years and sounding sweet i truly believe there is a touch of magic in that guitar named greeny
Wow never seen the real Kirk come out ..James come on man ..let the dude solo more!! Good job by Gibbons ..and Lang on the back up vocals ..awesome !
