It seems like the low horsepower of the Ruckus is an advantage in slippery conditions. No one else is driving fast either, so you won't have to worry about traffic coming up behind as much. It'd be cool to set up a Ruckus as a winter bike with grip warmers and knobbies, chains or studs.
I had an Honda 90cub and I loved riding that in snow and ice. I was a postman so after riding the 90 to work I would swap it for the pedal bike and rack on the front to hold the Mail bag. Yes I’ve been off but if you ride according to the conditions an off is little worse than just slipping down while walking. The Honda 90 cub excelled at going down with minimal damage as the leg shields were made of very flexible plastic that scuffed rather than break. Happy days. Ps at 60 I’m beginning to feel the effects of the offs I simply brushed off at the time. Plus before becoming a postman I was a coal face worker in the mines, but going back to riding in the snow. It’s great fun for the big kid 🧒 that’s inside us all. Just be extra careful in heavy traffic. That sucks big time x
This looks fun. I think I am going to get one now. I have been looking at it for a while now but this looks to fun to not do. It would be dangerous on roads but my 25 MPH residential roads I mostly can take wouldn't be bad.

What kind of tires do you have on the ruckus in this video? Are they studded?
All weather radials.
Are you driving with stocks tires?
Great video i thought you couldnt drive it in the winter. how high was the snow in this video?
I'd say 5-6 inches that day. I take all residential back roads home so I hopefully don't encounter any cars.
