Dual motor always drives on front motor whenever required it will use rear motor, so no need conserve mode.
That level of wear and tear makes me nervous. For the extra few thousand ill stick with quad
I could be wrong, but I think I read that unless in sport mode, the dual motor will always be in conserve mode. I think the quad motor has the conserve option, though.
exactly if you put your foot down the rear motor engages in all purpose. it locks the dual motors in sport, soft sand, towing , snow mode and all terrain

the suspension creaking only happens when stopped since the brakes are engaged. Air suspension is silent when underway.
R1S dual motor in cocaine white is pretty sick. Dual motor doesn’t have the yellow accents. The silver emblems and calipers work well with the black white body.

Yes, Rivian is expected to provide free adapter this year and then have NACS on 2025 vehicles.

City folk may love this truck, but just because it's pretty doesn't make it any less capable of doing real work. This thing is way more capable than people give it credit for.

As an investor of rivian. I definitely believe that the company isn’t going anywhere. Yes it’s going through a rough time right now but rivian is the only company that has been like 100 units short to Tesla, that’s why you have Elon musk trashing it because he knows rivian is a threat.

Between all the software and hardware glitches… high purchase price… Rivian’s going concern issues and much better and cheaper BEV options especially coming in’24… thanks for your review but it would be insane to pay close to $100k for a Rivian

Rivian is actually losing $90k per vehicle. As proof... in 3Q23, Rivian delivered 15,564 vehicles. GAAP loss was $1.4 bill. $90k loss per vehicle. Rivian needs to sell its cars for around $200k+ just to break even on a gaap basis. Almost impossible. And why Rivian is headed for certain bankruptcy
They are not losing $90k per vehicle. Also, you're not understanding how the math works and this is why loss per vehicle is absolutely stupid way to look at it.

Total nonsense, not only does Rivian make fantastic and popular vehicles, they have heavy financial investment from Amazon and projected profitability this year. They're sitting on over $10 billion. Rivian isn't going anywhere. Even if for some crazy reason they did, given their huge footprint of service centers and charging network already, it would be very likely that a company like Ford would purchase them. But that's very unlikely.
