I purchased a no limitz and have been waiting for a good install video. TY. With this product does it have to be removed before going to the dealership before any work like the tazer or just deactivated?
@@zautomotive good to hear! I know there are a lot of guys in the ram community, especially in the 2025 twin turbo hurricane trucks that are actually hitting the 105 mph speed limiter before the end of the quarter mile! So this would be extremely helpful!
Two things to I ran into, on pre 2024 Jeeps the HVAC panel has hard tabs on the bottom so the HVAC needs to be tilted backwards just enough to get lined up for the rest of the tabs to line up. Also, you cannot enable the NoLimitz module with the driver side door open.
I just want to thank you guys For this🙏🏽 🦅🦅🦅super easy for the install 💪🏽. NO more mds turning on. Full power when I launch it🔥🦅.its a must for the 392🔥
@@angelmtz4you thank you for the purchase! Hope it meets all your needs. Did you purchase it because of this video or did you know about it prior to seeing it?
I have one of the very first no limits units installed on my 2022, 392. I'm very happy with it. Bought it primarily for the torque features and MDS delete. I understand the early models have some issues with the off-road speed control, but I don't use that anyway and I understand there is a software update that resolves this. Where can I find that software or should I choose to do that someday? I also would like to know if this needs to be removed when I take the vehicle in for any dealer work like the Tazer that I have does.
Please email support@zautotech.com for that update as there is no public updater at this time. The device does not need to be removed before a dealer visit but should be deactivated. As mentioned ruined in the RF hub section of the video, should be returned to stock of RF hub repair or key pairing needs to be done
Purchased from AWEGOO about 2 weeks ago & the No Limits had been sitting on my desk. So thanks for the video & easily installed the No Limits on my 2024 today. I can confirm no more MDS. Had a question.....I also have a JL Mini and does the No limits feature to automatically turn off Traction Control do the same thing as a Long 5 second Press of Traction Control button on the JL Mini?
Without getting too technical, holding down the traction control button (using the Tazer mini) puts it in dyno mode which shuts down many of the ABS features of traction control, while the NoLimitZ is programmed to control the torque management and still be safe for the vehicle. Similar but different
So to turn on the No Limitz, you hold down the left arrow and press your start button to Run. At what point to you let off the left arrow button? After the hazards flash the 5 times or does it matter when?
Well of course not, but you can blend the wiring harness into the Star connector as best as possible to help keep it hidden. Although, this device is not an anti-theft device, and should not be relied on as on
Fair enough. One extra step though I suppose. There are not a lot of options out there that add theft deterrents in a way that is really easy to return to stock, so this still checks the boxes for me. Thanks!

MDS is pretty bad, gets bassy boom, vibrates, inside and outside sounds is bad. Would disabling MDS damage the engine over long period since mds is not being used?
No engine damage from disabling it. If anything it would help prevent the lifter/cam damage that those with MDS have been seeing. There are other ways to disable MDS such as manual shifting and offroad+, so it’s not like they need MDS on all the time.
