I have been a Jeep owner since 1996 and moved from a Jeep 392 to the Bronco Raptor. I have no regrets, and all i can say, whichever you choose, you won't be disappointed. They are both amazing machines, so get the one that feel's right for you' and enjoy the amazing machine.
As a person who has driven both vehicles, i have to say, i was really impressed with the bronco raptor! It seemed to have all of the capabilities that any off-roader should have. Yes there is no V8 in that car, however, it’s still a great choice! When choosing between the two, I decided to take the wrangler. Why you may ask? While the wrangler is not meant for super high speed off roading, it’s still one of the most, if not, most capable rock crawlers ever built. Although the Raptor does have better looking specs that will get lots of heads turned. That wrangler sound just ignites the look from everybody around you when driving it. Also, the interior on the wrangler in my opinion, feels less cheap and more luxurious, especially with the upgraded screen for the 2024 version, and that gorgeous red leather interior that’s heated and ventilated. Although driving the bronco is awesome and much smoother, I would still say that the wrangler is more fun to drive. Not just because of the sound and power, but being able to experience such speeds and sounds with the doors and top off. Many will also argue the look of the bronco as well, some people love it, others, not so much. If ford put a Coyote 5.0 in Bronco, then i’m sure many more individuals would move on from the 392 to the bronco; as they would be able to use that power off road. Great Review!
I believe most people who review the wrangler miss one very important point: they always use "ride comfort" as the be-all-end-all to rate that vehicle, and it is so off the mark. First off, the JL is not uncomfortable on the road. It's actually pretty good. Secondly, the jeep gives you that special occasion feel when you approach it and drive it, and it's a feeling that is beyond explanations. Only certain vehicles give me that feel: a wrangler, a G wagon, and a Porsche 911.
I have the Braptor. I came from an F150 Raptor. I know people think they are overpriced, but most people don't realize what's going in that truck. I has a bigger rear axle than the F150 Raptor. It has the same suspension as the Raptor 37 from 21-23, and of course 37" tires. It has all the hero switches and extra drive modes. Sway bar disconnect, and lockers which doesn't come on any other trim. Not to mention the reinforced frame and extra roll bar enforcements. There's a lot there that most can't appreciate or even realize because they can't see past the price tag. And it's definitely NOTHING LIKE A RANGER RAPTOR !🤣
We recently changed from a Wrangler and Gladiator (Rubicon models) to a Bronco Raptor. Agree with everything you're saying, it's literally the same Jeep but with the V8. The Raptor feels special and exclusive, as it should with these kinds of price tags.
You won’t get the sound of a V8, but with a ZFG Racing tune and a cold air intake the Braptor will make 550 WHP on e50. Takes care of the speed comparison. The Braptor is the best off-roader you can buy IMO.
So you are saying if you don’t mind not having a warranty on your 100k Bronco it will make a little more power on a fuel that’s not available at any gas station? That sounds great!. I will say they are comparing apples to oranges. One vehicle is a high speed desert runner and the other is a proper off road vehicle that can tackle almost any obstacle, however is not designed to go fast on sand and rough trails. However 80% of all off roading doesn’t call for high speed on sand and bumps. However most off-roading is on narrow trails with lots of rocks and steep hills. For sure the Bronco Raptor is a better Mall Crawler and Clout vehicle. Also pretty hard to take the reviewer’s serious when they don’t even know what size the engine is in the Jeep. One last thing the Wrangler will absolutely drag the Bronco from a dig or a roll hands down.

@@PerformanceOnWheelsThat is an absolutely absurd statement! You shouldn’t be doing these reviews. Different suspension, different gears, different axles, different exhaust system, Different tires, and wheels, different interior and exterior features, etc. are you confusing the difference between a Rubicon X and the 392? Again that statement is absurd
Everything you mentioned in that statement comes with the fact it has a v8… it got a different zf 8 speed transmission because it got a v8… the suspension is the same actually as the rubicon just mounted in the different spot so they could fit a v8. Axles are different because well, it goes into a full time 4x4 system because it has a v8.. the only big changes over a rubicon that make it completely different is the fact it has a v8. Which is once again not a bad thing. But out of the box, the Bronco is a superior off roader in our opinion. Yes it has bigger wheels and tires. You can put those on any wrangler. Still 2 inches smaller than what you can find over on the Bronco.
@@PerformanceOnWheelsAgain you’re wrong. It is similar to the Rubicon ax not just the Rubicon. Furthermore, you’re even wrong about the height with the tire change. I know for a fact. I have a 24 392 Rubicon. I switched to the K02 37 x 13.5. Height difference between those two tires and actuality is just a little over 1 inch. And the 37 x 13.5 is the same dimensionally in height as the 37 x 12.5, which is on the bronco. As far as your assessment of the bronco as a superior off-roader , you are in a Very small minority that hold that opinion. No doubt, it’s better on the road and highway, but it’s definitely not a better off road than the 392. I will give you, it depends upon the type of off roading you’re doing. If I had to have one vehicle to drive every day in all conditions, I would pick the bronco raptor. However, with having other vehicles to drive, I’d pick the 392 Rubicon all day long. The 392 Rubicon is like a true sports car and comparison to an imitation. Like comparing a Porsche 911 to a Mazda Miata. Come back and talk to me, when the suspension of the bronco is strengthened and they put a 302 V8 under the hood.
we can all agree you guys have absolutely no idea what your really talking about in this video. 6.2L wrangler? it’s a scatpack motor. 6.4. semi knowledgeable people watch this and can tell you guys did not honestly study the vehicles.
The rebuttal would be, if you are going to point the finger at someone for making a verbal error not a knowledge error. The correction you give should not be worded in such a way that, now, because one item was miss spoke,it the entire video is wrong. In addition, scat pack is a trim. The 6.4 is not solely found in a scat pack. So stating it is a scat pack motor is not correct. Stating it is the same motor found in a scat pack would be correct. Greatly appreciate the comment and pointing out the error. That aspect does challenge us to do better.

* Rubicon X
Raptor all day!

Sry Raptor looks better
Lol! That Jeep is just a Rubicon with a Challenger motor. So lame. It’s basically faster than the Bronco, and that’s about it.😅
Man no offence, but what idiots are buying these vehicles at a price of 90K? Must have low impulse control.
Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodge!!!! Forgive Our Reasearch Department!!!
we can all agree you guys have absolutely no idea what your really talking about in this video. 6.2L wrangler? it’s a scatpack motor. 6.4. semi knowledgeable people watch this and can tell you guys did not honestly
study the vehicles.
@@PerformanceOnWheels Obviously these NERDS know nothing about off road capabilities or they would know the Bronco is trash compared to the Jeep!
lol bronco raptor is so slow compared, and they are selling for 20k under msrp
This wrangler is actually listed much further under MSRP than the Bronco and has had no leads on it for the last 5 months it’s been in our inventory.
@@PerformanceOnWheels Next you will tell us how the Bronco is selling so FAST! Check inventory of Broncos across America and get back to us................... The Jeeps not selling are the ELECTRIC wannabes..........................
100k for jeep that they should have put the hellcat engine in it for that price 😒😒 a 392 is only worth a few thousand bucks out the salvage yard and ford's resale value is crap and reliability has never been Ford tough 😂😂😂
Fool's
Some poor bloke is gonna buy that 392 with all those wot pulls with less than 50 miles on the engine 🤣🤣😭😭
Wow the raptor looks so much better, bigger and it actually looks like an SUV and not a trolley army car. Now let's compare v6 to v6 no comparison 😂. I have a raptor on 24 inch wheels wrapped in 37 inch tires and I'm a menace on the road. I'm an ego bruiser. The look on the jeep owners faces are priceless 😂😂😂😂😂. Honestly they slapped a V8 in the same dated Jeep and upped the price to compete with the KING OF THE OFF ROAD BRAPTOR
that raptor is not wotrh 30 000 with that engine
