Cody Luis D Believe it or not, this was the 17th time in MLB Playoff history that a pitcher gave up 3 or more runs in the first inning while only recording 1 or fewer outs, but only the 2nd time that that same pitcher's team went on to win, with the 1st time being Game 7 of the 1925 World Series, which the Twins also lost, back when they were still the Washington Senators, losing to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

I got to see my team Lose 103 games in 2016. Then bounce back in 2017, to win 85 games and make the Wild Card! (First team to do that in MLB History!) Couldn’t be more happy for them! Next year, Win Twins!

Except they blow in the Postseason, after 2017, they were swept by the Yankees in 2019 and swept by the Astros in 2020. The Twins haven’t won a postseason game since 2004

I love the Twins. They play patsy every year to my Yankees. There’s few guarantees in life, it’s pretty much death, taxes, and Yankees beating the Twins. I trained for several years and discover that being great at a particular sport, such as baseball, is actually quite simple. It takes a mix of talent and even more hard work. I have seen a very large number of athletes come through this high school with all the talent in the world, but had no work ethic. Talent is only a fraction of what is needed to be great. The process of becoming a great baseball player takes talent, hard work, and a ton of practice. Baseball, being the second hardest sport in the world is a hard sport to stay discipline at as well. However, the steps of gradually becoming great do take some time, so every player must have patience.
