I was there at that 3 grand slam game. Let me tell ya, that was the worst possible day to go to a ballgame. All the way to the stadium it was pouring, we get there and sit in the parking lot while we figure out the games been delayed and it continues to pour. We’re wondering why the hell we were there when finally the rain clears up and the game can start. Still crappy weather. Game is underway and the Yankees are getting there asses whooped, 7-2. Really just wondering why the hell we decided to come to this game. Then the sun finally comes out; Robinson Cano had to wait until he got his sunglasses which sent the crowd cheering. Then, bam, run here, run there, grand slam here, grand slam there. Third grand slam comes and there it was, we were at a game where history was made. Final score of 22 or 23 to 9. I’m so glad we decided to go to that game.
Great as it was, it didn't win the game, Jackson's did if I remember correctly. Bucky's was the most unexpected for sure and I do remember cutting work to stay home and watch the game and man oh man, was it ever worth it. I'll never forget Goose jamming Yaz to pop him up to end the ball game. WHAT A GAME!!!!
Aaron boone home run in bottom of 10th against red sucks is the best moment I have ever seen in my 42 years watching my yankees. The game 7 in ALCS was the infamous Pedro Martinez hitting Don Zimmer an old man.
Best part at 7:16 watch that Red Sox pitcher on his knees on the mound crying his eyes out like a baby be consoled by another Red Sox player after Aaron Boone absolutely crushed that home run in the ALCS 7 game. Sending the Yankees to the World Series and the Boston Red Sox home packing, freaking Yankee ghost in the out field that game for sure, the curse of the Bambino lives on. Also that close up of Martinez at 7:40 catching all his pain and anguish after Boston swore up and down he was the Yankee killer, yeah right! Yankee stadium really is a magical place to play baseball.
That's not a Red Sox pitcher. That's Mariano Rivera. He ran back to the mound after Boone hit the walk off because Rivera had just pitched the last 3 innings to help the Yankees win. He said in an interview that the mound is where he felt at home. That's where he stood when he closed out games. So he ran to the mound where he pitched from to celebrate the emotional win
No way that Jeter's 2001 World Series home run is bigger than Tino's and Brosius' game tying two out home runs. I would also put on this list Soriano's game 7 go ahead home run in the 8th inning of the 2001 World Series.
Hm hm of course it is. First time in baseball history there was a game in November and that was a walkoff homer in the World Series. Oh and also it was the captain, Derek Jeter. Hollywood screenwriters couldn’t write a script as good as that ending in game 4
No doubt, the Brosius HR is the best. The sheer incredibility of tying the game on a 2 out 2 run homer for the second night in a row, the reaction of Brosius and Byung Hung Kim, and yes, even Joe Buck’s call “the Yankees have tied it again.” Hollywood would pick Jeter’s homer, but from an unbiased pure sports fan point of view the Brosius homer packs joy, heartbreak, disbelief, pandemonium all into one of the greats moments in sports history.
I love my Yankees born and raised in Massachusetts but love the Bronx bombers and what I love even more then my Yankees is the Yankees fans in Yankee stadium there's nothing that can compare to the cheers in that stadium lets go Bronx bombers 2018 is your year.
Safe to say that if this was updated, Giambi's GS would fall out of the top 10, probably the 3 GS game as well. Between Didi in the 2017 WC against Minnesota and his 2 HR game against Kluber. Perhaps you could also argue for Judge's blast in the 2018 WC game
Even though the Yanks lost it in 03 the way they came back and beat the red sox and the way they did it in a game 7, was my world series. I know this is for 21 century but I still cant watch this and not think about Leyritz in the 96 series
What was so satisfying after watching Boone hit the homerun, was that Arizona beat them in the W.S.! Both teams played great, but Arizona worked harder to win .
Was at the Brosius Homer game in the 2001 WS. That was the loudest I ever saw YS. The upper deck was literally shaking from people jumping up and down.
What about Alfonso Soriano hitting the go ahead home run in game 7 of the 2001 w.s.? I know we lost but dude was still clutch af in the postseason a 100% forgotten moment due to the outcome of that w.s.
What you have to love is that three of the top 10 home runs came against the same relief pitcher in the 2001 World Series. A World Series that the Yankees LOST!
A Yankee fan since I was 10 (now 68) - born & raised & still living )in NY. I've been to tons of games & have witnessed spectacular moments. Being at the Stadium to watch & feel Tino's homer to tie the game & Derek's walk-off to win it, still ranks as my top all-time fave moments !
Anything with Giambi should be thrown in the trash can. Steriods. Ditto anything with Alex Rodriguez. Why honor them? Re-do this and add Roger Maris and Chris Chambliss. Change it to add the 20th century. They played clean. *but the other guys I can live with, especially Aaron *bleeping Boone.
WOW BEAUTIFUL VIDEO THE YANKEES OF NEW YORK IS THE BEST TEAM EVER IN BASEBALL.PERIOD NO QUESTIONS ASK IS THE TEAM WHO GOT MORE CHAMPIONSHIP BY FAR THAN ANY TEAM IN HISTORY THE PROBLEM IS THE TEAM CAN'T WIN ALL THE TIME IS IMPOSSIBLE THEY WIN EVERY TIME THEY'RE IN THE FINALS BUT NO MATTER WHAT IS THE TEAM WHO HAS WON MORE CHAMPIONSHIP AND NOBODY CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY THE NEW YORK YANKEES THE NUMBER.1.TEAM IN THE MAYOR'S LEAGUE
wow what an amazing call from joe buck for derek jeter's mr november homerun!!! please stop letting joe schmuck call games, its been over 20 years of his monotone bullshit
I think Hideki Matsui's World Series Game 6 HR should be in here along with A-Rod's 2009 ALCS Game 2 HR in extras. I'd take that over the 3 Grand Slam game even though I really enjoyed hearing the story about that game in the comments.

I was there LIVE for Boone’s Homerun! Felt like an earthquake in that Stadium, Thunderous! I will NEVER forget that night!
wow, must of been crazy, you are lucky you were there

i was at the game as well,
I was at the game as well lol
Cool story bro
I've never been to Yankee stadium, so I admire you. I only get to see them when they come to Houston.
Big Mike put Yankee stadium on your bucket list of ballparks. It’s a wonderful experience and the ballpark food is 👌🏻
Miss the old yankee stadium in October that ballpark was so loud and shook hard

Bronx Bomber1983 omg 😮 loud is an understatement
Bronx Bomber1983 I agree!
Now they got that small tball replica shopping mall they call a stadium.
I remember all of those homeruns and still brings tears to my eyes
The new Yankee Stadium is missing that October magic
Johnny damon’s face when jeter hit that homerun..never seen a guy like so happy and pissed at the same time
Aaron Boone will always have a special place in this Yankees fan's heart with that home run.
Great video... funny I can recall where I was during most of these HRs.
That Giambi slam in the rain, man, that was as good a game as you'd ever seen. Back and forth so many times, etc.
Bucky Dent’s Home Run at Fenway was probably the best in Yankee History.
Don't remind me.
@@michaelbelfer6513 and Pinella's defense in right field.
Tom Goode Yes Sir Brother! Those Yankees knew how to win!!!
@@michaelbelfer6513 GRRRRRRRRR
I love that they showed Damon after Jeter's 3000
Teammates I'm sure he wished he was there
Thank god for making the yankees, and thank god for making me a yankees fan
Absolutely wonderful video for this Yankee fan.
how does joe buck have a job
jeff my thoughts exactly.
he almost fell asleep during tino's home run probs..if the sound of the crowd once he hit it didn't get him excited nothing would
His father. 100% because of his father. FJB.
Knee pads and can swallow swords.
He is bad.

The three grand slam game highly underrated. Of course the third was by the grandyman in grand fashion

@@jacuzzi8898 You are right. Brosius home run was the most exciting thing I have ever seen in sports. Ever.
I like this one! Nice vid.
GreenBean I watch this and nothing but goosebumps ....my childhood was filled with big moments on the baseball field
I hate that they took away the old stadium
I remember watching when I was like 6 years old when A-Rod hit that game tying home run. 2009 is my favorite year
That 2001 World Series is probably the greatest in MLB history
Breaks my heart, I'd trade any of those other 4 before it for that one.
god bless you for not putting any music over this man lol
I’ve learned my lesson with that 👍
Jeter is class all the way. One of the best. Great hit for 3000 hit, and last hit in career. Really great to watch

As a Red Sox fan, like I didn't know what #1 was going to be!!!!
its only because that hit won the yankees won the series. Had NY won the 'Backs series, Mr. November would be the top spot easily.
What was so satisfying after watching Boone hit the homerun, was that Arizona beat them in the W.S.! Both teams played great, but Arizona worked harder to win .
GREAT LIST!
Was at the Brosius Homer game in the 2001 WS. That was the loudest I ever saw YS. The upper deck was literally shaking from people jumping up and down.
U better add DJ LeMaheuis homer from tonight even tho we lost idc that shit was NUTSSSS
Matsui 2009 WS?
His game 6 homer was a good one... If I had to add a moment in tho I'd do the Austin/Judge back to back first AB's.
7 Curto David Justice 2000 Alcs
props for fixing it
Tino's grand slam in the world series vs the padres. Definitely missed that one
Last century not this one.....
Yankees had a nice run there in the late 90's when baseball was important to a lot of people. Sorry to see this great game a shell of itself.
Jeffery Soles In the 60s and 50s and 20 40, too
Ibanez is my favorite as I called both of them standing in my living room at 15 years of age
How is David justice’s 2000 alcs game 6 homer not included...
What about Alfonso Soriano hitting the go ahead home run in game 7 of the 2001 w.s.? I know we lost but dude was still clutch af in the postseason a 100% forgotten moment due to the outcome of that w.s.
All Great homers!! But where the hell is Jim Leyritz game four homer in 96 World Series vs Braves? That turned it all around for them!
That was last century.......
"Ballgame Over... Yankees win AHHHHHHHH! Yankees win."
Me: *FacePalm*
Man... the 2001 WS should've been the Yanks. Oh well.
I called the Raul Ibanez walk off when I was watching with my dad
Love the Yankees and Baseball
Bernie's walk off againt Meyers and the Orioles in 96 has to be on this list. Best John Sterling call ever, as well. Burn baby burn!!!!
I swear y'all can't read a title
That Aaron Boone homerun will always be memorable
What you have to love is that three of the top 10 home runs came against the same relief pitcher in the 2001 World Series. A World Series that the Yankees LOST!
I felt bad for that guy( kind of) but i guess he ended up with a ring
Raul ibanez was only player that showed up in that 2012 series
Possibly the best home run ever hit buy a Yankee rookie
The Yanks got a knack for this stuff going back 100 years. I could type up 10 pages of names that made it happen.
Can't wait for the day to be back at a packed yankee stadium
i know the beamtown hatters hate that one i can watch it all day along!!!!!
David Justice's HR in the 2000 Series against the Mariners
.
I was there for giambi's hr and left early!!!!
F.....ing AWESOME video❤
Red Sox are getting all the laughs now tho
Even though it wasn't 21st century both of Leyritz home runs should be on any list
Coming soon for the first time in the history of MLB baseball in January with no crowd 😢
When You put Mattingly’s home Run off of Andy Benes I’ll subscribe :)
Mine was greg bird home run vs Andrew Miller
2004
GREAT PLAYOFF FOR YANKEE HATERS!!
YEAH! LOL!
Yankee haters still jerk off to that year cuz we live rent free in their heads lmaooooooo
Damn Kim blew all the games lol... he must of been hurt lmao
Damn the money hungry steinbrenners for tearing the old stadium down.
They are the only team in baseball that hit 3 grand slams in a game.
Hi
How in god's name is David Justice's homerun in the 2000 ALCS not here...
Angelo Poseidon 2000 is not considered the 21st century. It doesn’t technically begin until 2001.
@@stever7157 I think that's stupid tbh
Wasn’t luis castillo and randy johnson both on steroids? Shouldn’t the yankees be champions? It’s pretty obvious i’m just confused
Hard to leave out reggie's 3
This video said 21st century.
whose worse ? michael kay or joe buck ?
Heck of a title since the 21st century is less than 25% completed and the video is 7 years old…inflated thinking started here
Who else but the great aaron bone
Only Joe Buck could fuck up the Aaron Boone HR call. Worst play by play announcer in MLB
Most of these HW's didn't even lead to a WS win
The old stadium was so much better
First one: Roid boy Jason Giambi. Didn't watch anymore, I'm assuming A-roid is on there too. lol

Not really. It was usually louder.

Joe buck kinda ruins all the '01 seriea homers and aaron boones with his lame ass calls
