    Michael Thompson's daughter speaking here...
To all who have made their comments before and here on after, let me set the record straight. In my interview, I stated that, "I believe" that my father was still in the AB, and I gave no factual evidence to support this statement. Hence my statement of "I believe." To me, it is the only logical conclusion that I could make given my father's criminal history. So, to all of the AB members, past or present that have made your rebuttals to my statement of belief, which are founded on facts, the nagging questions I had have now been put to rest.
I now want to address those individuals who have ascertained, or rather what they feel is clearly evident on my part, bitterness and anger. I harbor absolutely no bitterness towards my father, but I do in fact harbor anger. It was this anger, not only towards my father, but my mother as well that was the very causation that led to me being who I am today, and I will never apologize to anyone for it. The anger was a motivational factor, consistent with my acute awareness that my life circumstances were not good, not normal, and not at all what I deserved. I knew I deserved better. I also understood that if I wanted to change the cycle, I had to do the work. It wasn't fair, yes, but it was the hand I was dealt. I am not a whiner, I am not a complainer, I am not a victim, I am a badass survivor; it's that damn simple. I finished high school while homeless and pregnant, served my country, United States Army, eventually went to college, raised three successful college educated men, and I can go on and on and tout my success but I think my point has been made here.
Michael was 18 years old when I was born, and it was a responsibility he was not willing to under take; I was the product of an affair he had with my mother. The man my mother was married to signed my birth certificate but my mother had always proclaimed that he was not my biological father, Michael was. For the past 26 years, during the time period of having an active relationship with my father, I made numerous attempts, some on the request of my father, to make contact with relatives on his side of the family. It didn't matter how many times Michael confirmed, in writing and verbally that I was in fact his daughter, I was stone walled nonetheless. In March of this year, I conducted DNA testing so I could finally put this dog to rest; my DNA matches to the Thompson side of the family were explosive. That said, when I received the results, it was in fact what I already knew to be true. In Michael's last letter to me, he had asked that I contact my uncle and request DNA testing, but my uncle refused. So, yes, I felt cheated. After learning of my father's release, he could have at the very least made contact with me even if it was for the sole purpose of DNA testing...something my father had seemed to desire.
Doing this podcast is and will be the only public interview I will conduct regarding my father. And in doing this podcast, it certainly wasn't for notoriety, rather it was for my liberation. I'm free now. No more wondering, and for the record, there have been several comments posted here that have been made not only by my children, but by my family members on the Thompson side of the family as well.
I don't owe any commenter here any clarification about my life or what I said in the interview, but I have done so nonetheless. Therefore, I am asking that any commentator from here on out will show me some respect, because I earned it. And if you refuse to grant this simple request, it says more about you as an individual than it says about me.
    Regards,
    Kimber

When certain inmates ( just a handful) are brought in and out by chopper in the middle of the night, allowed phone calls any time day or night and have no CDCR number, are completely isolated and you cannot ask questions, then you know they are much higher connected to something that not even the Correctional staff know. Michael Thompson claims he was shot with a 30/06 round in prison. A 30/06 is a high powered rifle I assume he still has both arms and legs. If anyone was to suffer a 30/06 round to a leg or arm I'm sure it would need amputation. The chances of surviving a high powered rifle round to the abdomen I'm sure is EXTREMELY low. So what part of his body suffered a 30/06 round. I'm not saying he's lieing I'm just curious.

One of the problems here is, no offense, that no one on this show knows much about being on the inside of prison for any length of time. For instance, everyone is going on and on about did Mike Thompson kill anyone or not. I know for a fact the guy was involved in an institutional murder. Inside the joint, you gotta do what you gotta do. But only a moron would admit to killing anyone. There is no statue of limitations on murder. Which brings me to another point, how you got these keyboard cowboys calling Mike a no good rat and coward. As I've said before and I"ll state again I was on the yard with Mike, and no one ever talked about him to his face like all these AB wanna bees do here in the comment section. If The Damage Done Podcast wants some real inside information I'd be more then happy to explain a lot of things. I don't want to do it on camera, I don't want to be "officially" interviewed. But I"d be more then happy to set the record straight.

I’m successful and have a great life. I thank the lord everyday but with all that I’d trade it all to go back and have the “normal” family with a mom and dad. I know no one has a perfect family and great evil things go on in families. I apologize for the whining and I know I should be thankful for what I have which I am but……………

Pretty sad stuff. Lots of people were blowing the whistle on this. Can't say that I'm too surprised, he's clearly been a criminal his entire life. He did say multiple times it's all about survival, and he'll do what he needs to for survival. Use his daughter, his wife, his old AB connects, whatever he has to. That's a real criminal. Classic case of being hoisted by your own petard, dude talked waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to much shit in those interviews.
The website for the foundation he and his wife "started" was totally bogus too.

As someone who served time in Marion Illinois Supermax penitentiary and Walpole,etc... and twenty years straight my last 35 years sentence I fortunately turned my life around by getting brutally honest with my self and changing a lot of my thinking process and choices ! Most guys keep going back to prison for a number of reasons mainly making bad choices and never accepting responsibility for those choices the other is they bring their tough guy image and convict mentality to the streets with them and that doesn't work in society . For example look at Jack Abbott got released had a number one seller book "In the belly of the beast " killed a waiter because he felt the kid disrespected him and threw it all away for that kind of thinking . Mr. Thompson falls into that category also in my opinion !

Too bad he resorted back into criminality. He should've written a book after he was released instead and by the time many of his lies and exaggerations were eventually debunked,, he would've likely already sold enough books to be wealthy enough to live the rest of his life free and about as comfortable as someone who worked for most of their life rather than being incarcerated without actually breaking the law, because there's no law against lying about yourself in your own personal biography; only the shame or deceiving people who bought and read it. Many of his stories actually defy logic and it's pretty easy for anyone with common sense to call bullshit. He claims he was shot 22 times, (and with high powered rifles) Stabbed a bunch of times by blacks who really didn't intend to kill him, etc, etc. He said he was shot in the leg by a 30/06. Most people don't realize how powerful of a cartridge that actually is and the amount of damage it would've done to his leg. There's a reason why It's used by U.S. Park Rangers in places like Alaska. It's one of the few cartridges that can stop a charging 1500 lb Grizzly Bear in it's tracks.

Insecure people with rage don’t make themselves a success and carry on another generation of success. Convicted and logical? 150%. But she has no rage. No insecurities. I've also dated many women with absent fathers. His daughter also stated she was pregnant at 15 and her boyfriend was a armed robber. Her choices in men are exactly what her father was. And for the rest of her life she will feel like she isn't good enough for a good man so she chooses bad men becuase she thinks that's what she deserves. It's text book. They hold alot of rage as well. Rightfully so. And it's not weak to admit to an insecurity but in almost every single case especially a woman that's father was absent there is damage that will allways be there no matter how much they try to hide it it becomes almost subconscious she turned her rage and insecurities into a positive but that doesn't negate the fact there still there and boil up into negatives sometimes. As I had posted on the first 2 Podcasts, I, having worked for 25 years in Penetenaries, knew much of what he was claiming were lies. I think over the years, he has convinced himself though he came to believe his owns lies. Sadly, 95% of what he says has to be questioned. No one could be shot 20 times with a 223 cal.and 5 times "point blank" with a Remington 870 shotgun and survive, period. Any former inmate reading this can back this up as the facility would have had a recall and problble lockdown. The claims he dispatched 7 and more inmates is also a lie. I personaly think he read so many Louis L'Amour books, he ives in that make believe world.

With his BS stories on the podcast, yes. He also fooled the AB and the parole board with his BS.
