It's pretty interesting seeing each Megaman series evolves the formula and the storytelling. It is nice seeing a conclusion to X and Zero's character despite it being a different series.
Ah nostalgia is hitting me. Its funny how I watched the old commentary in 2018, 4 years after it was made and 6 years later its now 10 years old. I feel so old now. Looking forward to it.

Precisely one of the reasons that behind the Legends and Battle Network series that Zero is my third favorite sub-series in the Megaman timeline.
As I've been recording it, I've simultaneously seen how I've grown yet also stayed the same as I was in 2014 when I recorded the Silent Hill 1 commentary (lampshaded in Part 3) but all the same its a commentary that though not finished yet, is one that I've enjoyed re-recording both for the new commentary but also reflecting on the past and how 2014 Skully compliments where I am now.

1:19 I personally don't hate boss rushes, but I do think that if we have to refight bosses, make it like how the first Mega Man X did it and have you refight them as you go through the stages, at certain points, that way it doesn't feel as much like padding, or you can do what that one boss in Zero 2 or 3 did that I mentioned last episode where you spice up the fight with something new, that way it keeps you on your toes and does something different.
2:55 So one Ciel being a child prodigy, I think I may be wrong on this, but I'm fairly certain that she wasn't a child prodigy, but instead genetically enhanced to be as smart as she is, that was most likely explained in one of the audio dramas; those hold a lot of lore don't they? may be a good idea to check them out if you plan on doing the rest of the Zero games. (Cool theory on why Copy X is the way he is though)
4:47 Still got stuck on a bit of that Groundskeeper Willie impression from Hit and Run I see.
7:51 Oh look at that, I answered your question before you even uploaded the part where you asked it. (Did you check out Magnus Zero yet?)
8:31 You got it from Launch Octopus.
9:51 "This, is also gonna be the last time we see Phantom" Actually that's not true, ya know the cyber world gimmick in either Zero 3 or 4? well if you meet certain conditions in there, and I believe in a specific stage, you can actually encounter Phantom and fight him as a secret boss, so yes you do get to see Phantom once more. (Also from what I can tell yes, Phantom doesn't actually have a weakness in this game)
14:40 So Copy X, well first off, I love his design as well, I don't know if I like it more than X series X like I do with Zero but I still really like, I even kinda want to get that model kit of him; As for his fight, well I haven't gotten to him yet as you know, but I really like how he's done as well, using weapons and stuff from the X games is great, and apparently that's meant to be the ultimate armor he's wearing in the fight, he even uses the nova strike, yeah I think this first phase is super cool as someone who's played the X games, I wonder how my opinion will change once I actually fight him, got nothing on the second phase though. (The slide is a neat shoutout to Classic Mega Man as well)
So final thoughts, I like the story of this game/series very much, it made me like Zero as a character, and it only elevated X as my favorite if not one of my favorite Mega Man characters ever, playing it for the first time recently I can definitely see the "First Game Syndrome" in this entry, but I definitely want to continue playing the game, and I'm very excited to play the rest, considering I got the Zero/ZX collection that's not gonna be a big problem; I'm also excited for Silent Hill as it was my first in the series, and I love that game.

Very true, it all depends on how its handled but in the case of some Megaman games it sorta feels like its there just because its obligatory tradition in some cases.
Dammit CAPCOM! Clearly not having learned their lessons from Devil May Cry 3 in keeping essential information off in Audio Dramas, prequel manga or spin off novels.
Ack! Willie hears ya, willie don't care.
Damn you Sir Isaac Fortesque and your clairvoyant powers.
      Lunch Octopus
I never did invest too heavily into the cyberspace gimmick of Zero 3 so its a surprise to me that he shows up as a secret boss. Might be worth another playthrough to find him and see what he's like.
Copy X's design maintains the qualities of X's look with a slicker focus and honestly it suits him nicely. Also never noticed the shout out to the slide attack from Megaman Classic which was a nice touch (Shame Megaman 9 and 10 did away with it)
Glad to see you enjoyed the ride, and hopefully Silent Hill will be equally as fun and enjoyable to dive into.

@@TheSkully343 Well now you know Phantom is there and you don't miss showing him off for a Zero 3 commentary. (If you feel like one that is)
Also the "Hiding necessary info in manga's/audio dramas" I don't think was Capcom here, because that's something the devs of this series (Inti Creates) like to do quite a bit with their own series's like Gunvolt.

Well then I shake an ARRGH! fist at Inti Creates then!
