Hey, amazing video as always!! Can you do it for Cort A6? I have a query: Is African Mahogany (also called Okoume) the same as mahogany? Should I go for a solid African Mahogany guitar?
Yes we have Gold A6 review lined up. Wood alternates are choosen after a lot of research and it's very needed since availability of wood has become an issue. U can definitely go for solid African mahogany.

A8 is a combination of spruce and pau ferro. Pau ferro is one of the closest alternate to rosewood. Spruce and rosewood back and sides are a very traditional combination of wood to get a very warm projection and definition in sound. While the argument of all solid is valid, the wood combination and treatment also matters. Which is where the Gold A8 wins. Yet again this is our observation. If the tone of spruce + maple works for you, you should choose that. After all sound is subjective.

It's honestly not possible to answer - 'How' It's just like asking how does a headphone sounds. U have to listen to know. Everybody's perception of good sound will vary by large proportions.

I have the Cort gamy-bv and the bevel arm rest is just wonderful. I think i will upgrade to this one

I have the gold d6 and this one sounds crispier since d6 is a dreadnought. Overall this one sounds better.
