Skating them anti first before switching to flat isn't the most fair test, as you'll have worn the shoulders of the groove (the corners where the groove meets the frame edges) down by skating anti, and the shoulders are an important part of how a frame performs for flat. Doesn't look like you've put a ton of wear on them, so probably not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind for next time.
The whole idea of all the custom frame possibilities is the whole reason I bought these.
