- Hello guys,
Today I'll service HMT caliber 0231 movement,
I'll use white petrol, Elma and rodico putty to clean this movement 🙂
I have only installed this movement in a local watch just for fun 😅
I hope you guys will like my work, thanks for watching my video
Please do more tutorials. Also why put the mechanical movement in a quartz case ?

What is the liquid used to loosen the parts.can we use regular petrol for cleaning. What are the other solutions used.
Yes we can use regular petrol for cleaning.
For rusty screws, i use zorrik. and to clean any movement i use (Elma watch cleaning solution)
@@watchwizard Thank you bro. I have an. Hmt tareeg, when it reach 9 o clock it becomes slow several minites or hours. This happens daily. Bro what is the solution.
@@watchwizard My tareeg has rust in its regulator jewel, so is this the reason for irregularities. I have spare non working movement, so should I change the regulator.
@@yethuraj4873 check its hour wheel or the hands might be touching each other at 9Oclock position causing the movement to lose time.
@@watchwizard This happens only at 9pm and sometimes the watch stops working.

@@watchwizard Thank you. Bro were do we get complete set of tool to service hmt 17 jewel watches. In my area servicing price is very high and work is not perfect, so if possible I could learn and do services myself.

Brother you watch needs servicing. Low balance amplitude is a sign of maintenance.

U put too much oil, u destroyed the beauty of watch by placing that new dail....u should keep things authentic. And your setup and the clay you use is soo dirty...try to make presentable videos improve lights
