To become a solution architect in AWS you need experience in software development. Your degree does not matter. You will first need to learn software development. Then you will have to build some software application. Get some experience. Then learn AWS Solution Architect stuff.

You should have basic experience of Linux on how things work in Command line Interface so that would make things easier for AWS SA.
I have already passed the aws SAA without having any knowledge or experience of linux
