    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  4 роки тому +3

      When you are learning web development with Python then you are actually doing everything required for cloud computing. Cloud computing only means that internet comes into play and we have to consider distributed networks for developing our applications. Thats what is all cloud computing about. As you are learning python start learning about cloud infrastructure on the side. You can pick one cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure and the learn how you can use that to build your applications. That will be cloud computing for you.

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  3 роки тому

      Being scared is not going to help you. You have to tackle each problem on one on one basis. All programming is solving one problem after another. So whatever is the challenge in front of you try to find a solution only for that one challenge then go to another. DevOps is vast. It depends on what tools in DevOps you are using. Whatever tool you are using. Start learning everything you can about that tool. Start with basics. Then upgrade your knowledge.

      It completely depends on what cloud operations you are going to manage. First see which project is assigned to you. Depending on that you then invest your time in learning about that particular cloud infrastructure. Once you know one cloud infrastructure properly then all the other cloud infrastructure will be similar with little differences. At least you will be able to learn any new cloud infrastructure immediately. Its like I know one programming language very well. But I am so good in that programming language that I can easily learn any other programming language as I need.

      In metro cities the starting salary for Solution Architect is average between 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. But 5% of engineers also get upwards of 7LPA. But with experience of 2 to 3 years in this field you can easily get something above 10 LPA. You should also look at what it takes to get a job at Amazon directly. That is where you will get the best salaries as AWS Solution Architect.

      AWS and Azure has administration part if you are managing your systems on these cloud platforms. In this case you will need to learn the tools and technologies that are for just handling cloud. Here you dont need programming. But if you are using AWS or Azure as programmer who is building application on these platform. Then you need knowledge of programming. You can use any programming language on these platforms. Because any cloud platform will support multiple programming environments.

Data Science is all about using data to solve problems. It is more of an analytical and problem solving kind of work. What do you like to do? That you should choose.

    How much cloud computing is different from cloud native computing ?

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  2 роки тому +1

      Cloud Enabled means you are using the storage and compute resources in a data center using the internet. You are just buying a box which is your computer on cloud. After that all softwared dev remains same. Like you would do on your computer or server. Cloud Native means you are using the cloud services for developing your application. You are using the application service to run your application. You are using the database service to build your database etc. So you are purely building your software application using the services provided to you by the cloud platform like AWS or Azure or any other cloud. That is the difference.

AWS or Amazon Web Services is a Platform for Storage, Compute and Network along with 170 to 180 services that can help you build any application. You can write a application in Python and use AWS to deploy the application. Whereas SAP is a an ERP application. By the way all the three have great future. • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  3 роки тому +1

      Since you are already doing a certification on CCNA + MCSA you will be certified to handle most of the Data Centers. You already have a job so you should first look at a job that will take advantage of your certification and give you more opportunities to learn further on your job all the skills that you have gathered during certification. As soon as you get the certification check for any Job that mentions CCNA + MCSA certification and try and see if the company is good + all the salaries and benefits are good then you switch to that company. Once you switch you should then learn further about Cloud Administration. You can go the Azure way or Amazon Web Services way. Both are good certifications to do I suggested you Azure because you will already have experience working with Windows Server and it will be just an upgrade to Azure. One thing very important to remember is that just because you don't know programming does not mean your income or work is lesser than programming. Because about 100+ software engineers depend on one network engineer. If the network is not working then these 100+ engineers will face a problem. So your job is very important. Don't feel that your job is lesser than other fields within IT. Best wishes.

      Masters in Cloud Computing will have 4 times more value than just a certification. Check the jobs that ask for Masters. You will know the difference. Hi Tushar, Cloud Computing is a good field. You can learn both programming and networking as part of cloud computing. You can become a dual expert one in doing development on Cloud Infrastructure and another in DevOps using Cloud. That way you will have more value. After that, it all depends on what kind of companies you join and what kind of projects you do. Do the foundation and see if you understand the technical parts of that training. If you understand then you can move forward to learn more. There is no rule that a person with Arts background cannot learn computers or programming. But usually people who opted out of science find it difficult to understand concepts. So you have to try.

      Yes there are two components in Cloud Computing. One is the software development component which is heavily leaning towards programming. Another is managing the cloud infrastructure. This is all about learning how the cloud infrastructure works. In this you have to learn tools which are already available. Where you have to make settings using some command line or even using a UI based page. But it is more like learning how to control different settings on a cloud infrastructure to get a certian type of cloud infrastructure that will support a software application. If you go to amitpatels.com/resources page. On that page there is a PDF. In that PDF you will find a lot of these certification that are about handling the cloud infrastructure. See what you like after reading the course content. How the course will help you? Then decide whether you want to move in that direction or not.

      Hi Abinash, Data is the new oil. Since you are working as a Data Base Administrator it will be easier for you to transition into Data Base Engineer. You should learn on various data bases - Why they exist? What you can do with each different types of Data bases? Everything you can learn about databases. Such that you become a master of databases. Then you can grow in your career using the skills you have learned. It is not what skills can get you a good career. It is what skills you have that can give you a good career. The more you have in-depth knowledge beyond just DBA the more you will be valued in your company and else where.

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  4 роки тому

      To learn cloud computing means you have a few options. One is programming - start with web development then become a full stack web developer like I mention in this video ua-cam.com/video/QdtYI_-ieaU/v-deo.html . Second is infrastructure administration - Managing the cloud - In this you need certification for AWS or Google Cloud or Azure - you can find this on the PDF I have shared here amitpatels.com/resources . Third is Cyber Security - Looking at your business development executive experience this is also one really good field within Cloud Computing. Cyber Security has two parts - one programming which is covered in any programming track you choose - bit the other part is Cyber Security Management - which is more of a management part. This you can do and is really important where you have to audit the Cyber Security and suggest changes to the infrastructure or softwares which offcourse someone else will do. So there are many different paths in Cloud Computing. You can pick the path that you think you will like the most. Go by your interest. If you dont know then talk to people who are already in this field. Get an understanding of their work and then decide.

      The Fields of importance will keep changing. AI & ML is also part of cloud computing. It is only because of cloud computing infrastructure that AI and ML is available to every software engineer in todays date. It used to require huge infrastructure in the past. So by starting with python you are already in the right direction. You can become a full stack developer using Python and then also learn AI & ML. All the three combined will be useful in building any application in Cloud. The thing is to go step by step.

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Aditya, Since you are already a Network Security Engineer you already know a few things about security. This is a good beginning. Also you have 8 years of experience so you should not lose your experience you have already gained in this field. If you are very technical then you should pursue becoming a cloud architect. This is the highest level in Cloud Security where you will be implementing security in code. If you are not the programming type of person then you should get into Cloud Management where you will be conducting Security Audits and providing valuable suggestions to the company. Whatever you do try to see that you can show your 8 years experience as an added advantage along with the new certification. First you decide what you want to get into it. Once you do that you will automatically find the right certification. I cannot directly suggest you a certification because this will require you to do the research and apply the right certificate for your experience plus your vision where you want to be in the next 2 to 3 years.

      The easiest place to start if you want to become a programmer is to become a Web Developer. Learn at least one programming language that will help you in Web Development. Then become a Full Stack Web Developer. After that you will be able to get into Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing simply means that you are building application that use the Internet. That requires an understanding of Cloud Infrastructure. How are you going to handle the network? How are you going to handle distributed data? How are you going to handle users with different devices? That is what will be cloud computing. But it will start with web development. The best is to learn one programming language and get a job that is in Web Application Development. Then take it from there. Go step by step. You cannot achieve everything in one day. But you can achieve a lot in 90 days or 365 days.

      @MusingsbyAmit  4 роки тому

      Hi Nagesh, AWS is a leader in cloud computing ahead of Microsoft. About Admin or Development role you have to decide this on your own because it depends on your understanding of programming and how much do you like administration. Remember that not many people want to go into Admin roles. So the competition is quite less compared to programming roles. Also nobody argues with an Admin. Because they control the entire system. Each and every role is required in Software Industry. So you decide which role you like and go ahead. It does not matter what people think. What matters is that you love what you do. If I was going into Admin then I would go ahead get a certification for one like AWS then I would also get certified for Azure. Then for IBM and Google.Just imagine when you know how to administer any cloud infrastructure how valuable you become. You can easily beat other engineers to the finish line first.

    • @MusingsbyAmit
      @MusingsbyAmit  4 роки тому +2

      Your package is not dependent on where you start or what you do. Your package is dependent on your potential and performance. That is in your hands. No company has any written rule that they will only offer x or y anount based on experience. I know engineers who with less experience are able to get higher packages only based on their work. Also it is not useful to just focus on money becuase that will not help you. Money is an output of everything you do in your work. If you become the best admin and are able to handle many systems in your company more than anyone else then your company will give you a higher package. If you learn and are able to keep the system running 99.98% of times then you company will give you higher package. You have to focus on your potential and performance when you do this no matter what you will be successful.

      Hello Wanderlust, If you learned Python you can learn either Data Science using Python which is very close to your experience of Business Analysis. Only with Data Science if you learn it completely then you also have a chance of programming in future on learning ML and AI. But if you think that is looks like a huge mountain to climb then learn Web Development using Python or any programming language. Then switch to programming. See how it works out for you. About monotonous work. Remember that till you work for someone your work will remain monotonous. When you start working for yourself even within a job then you can break monotony by becoming more creative. By finishing your work early and saving enough time that you can use to do other things.

What will be your income? What kind or projects will you be doing? What kind of clients will you be working for? First you have to sit and decide this.
