I just have to say, in an internet world overloaded with such vanlife content, you two are one of a kind cause of your narration skills,. Its like I'm watching a Travel Channel show!
Oh gosh dear people, I don’t know what to say other than thank you both for being so honest. It’s important that we all know both the ups and downs of vanlife. I’ve followed you for a while now and always admired both the fun and the serious aspects of your vlogs. I’m so so pleased that you are both ok. Folk quite often forget the impact something can have on the other person in the relationship so well done young lady on keeping more than an eye on your John. My eldest Grandson is also a Christmas Day birthday, just thought I’d throw that in 🥹 A Guid New Year, when it comes.
Delighted to see you enjoy a dinner out, and fortunately my wife never thinks of me as Kev, only Kevin, so she's none the wiser 🤣 Both my wife and I are ATGATT motorcyclists, and genuinely applaud your decision to share the aftermath of a bang on the head for Jon. You did so with sincerity and honesty, please take this as positive encouragement to keep being True Blue.
😂😂😂 Glad we didn’t get you in trouble! We had a wonderful time so thank you very much 🥰 Couldn’t agree more about the safety gear. Jon has always been the same with the bikes, even when it’s baking hot we still wear everything. Really appreciate it thank you. Thank you so much for all your support, it means so much to us, and I don’t know how to thank you for you generosity, but rest assured it won’t be a card from Jon! 😂 thanks so much Kev, we really do appreciate it 💙
Guys you made it 2 Norway, most warmly welcome, God Jul and a happy new year. I hope you will have a safe stay and no more accidents. Don't be afraid of visiting first aid, its all paid for costwise and the staff is pretty knowledgeable on the effects of hurting during snow activities. You could probably get some tips on how to fall to avoid hard effects on neck and head. Drive carefully and do consider winter wheels with studs if you travel north of artic circle as ice is always an issue on parking and roads less travelled. The other wheels can be left at what we call wheel hotels for a small fee. Don't feel shy to take initiative to talk to Norwegians, our culture consider it polite not to interfere in others daily life but will always try to help people that are new to Norway and we all speak pretty decent English. The "posh" place you enjoyed is pretty much just the standard for Norway, as we are a high on costs and income but low on class-differences type of country. To park close to structures that stop some exposure to winds is a double benefit, as it allow your van to avoid being rocked in nights with storms or blizzards and it dampens the temperature draw off the sides of your car. Can't think of much else, but if there's anything you need to know about, let me know I'll try to explain. All the best, your channel is bookmarked. ☺👍
This same thing happened to a good friend of mine a few years ago. After about 5 - 6 hours or so, he started to come back around. But on the 3 hour minibus journey back to the airport (it happened literally on the final day) it was genuinely upsetting to see him literally not remember things from minutes previous. Well done Jess, that must have been awful for you. The big man took it in his stride. What a 'memorable' Christmas Day for you both! Thanks for all the brilliajt content and for being two of the most down to earth and lovely people out there. I caught you literally from the first video on the van build and have watched ever since. Wishing you a genius New Year! Al.
Thanks al, yeah it was very concerning and I’m just so glad he’s all back to normal now, thanks for following along with us and I hope 2024 has all sorts in store for you 😁😁💙
Scary, it shows how things can change in a moment. Glad you are feeling OK and importantly improving too. Having skied and taught for over 30 years, with kids that raced to I have been a supporter of helmets, they do save lives. Merry Christmas, stay safe, have fun x
I've been snowboarding for over 15 years and always wear a helmet. They have saved my life several times. I really hope John is feeling better and there's no long term effects (although it'll be hard to tell 😝). Merry Christmas both and happy birthday John, the cards in the post 😝
Thanks so much for your kindness, is been magical, even with Jons concussion. They has been so much cool machinery out here, even I’m impressed! I would have got help if he had deteriorated in any way or had any other symptoms but figured that the stress of forcing him into care would have been more detrimental than helpful at that point. 💙
I’ll start with the usual compliment to you both for the filming and editing. Stunning scenery and as ever amazing content. Jon - belated happy birthday (card is in the post), and importantly I hope you are feeling better. Jess - you need not worry about the recording and it was explained well, and helps us see the trials that can happen. You were amazing, obviously very concerned for Jon but he was in good hands. Big hug to you you star ⭐️. Well done on the snowboarding (and hope you’re ok after your knock too). Meal looked amazing and you both looked elegant 😊. Lastly, Jess, we joke about the wink not wink, but we all love Jess’s wink. You don’t need to practice or change it. Stay warm and safe guys and Happy New Year. Russ
Any journey has highs and lows, and it’s good that you don’t shy away from showing the lows. Glad to see John was back to his usual self at the end. Looking forward to continuing your journey with you. And Jess, good editing. Stay safe.🙂👍🏻
Blooming ech Jon , hope you are OK. Nice one Jess for looking after him. It's a fabulous video to watch showing how things can change so quickly. Happy New Year to you both. 🎉 You are the best channel on UA-cam.
Sorry you had such a bad Christmas, glad Jon has recovered now and well done Jess for taking such good care of him, hope your New year is a fantastic one xxx
Good to see you doing ok - that kind of stuff is a bit scary. At least when you damage sticky-out bits like arms and legs you can see what's going on. Some kind of CT scan would have been fun to see what he keeps between his ears - cobwebs, bungees, pictures of tractors maybe? I can imagine if he gets a bang on the head in the future his first thought is going to be "is it my birthday?" 😂 You both take care out there, and have a great New Year 👍👍
just finished watching your video it was brilliant. i was reading the news on yahoo news Australia and you have a story on their page about your adventure.
Your vlog content and quality are spot on. It’s great to see the “Sprintburys” van is living up to expectation, built by a true professional of course 😊. You’re not missing anything on the tely at home so keep the vlogs coming 😎🤷♂️👏……….Happy New Year 🍺
I genuinely like how real you are! First you were fully transparent with the cost of the build (i randomly got this van build recommended after not watching van conversions for over a year) and now also showing the "bad" moments. We need more channels like this, because life ain't all sunshine and roses!
I know this is a older video, bit would you guy's not look at doing a splash board for the side of the bed. Just to prevent your bedding from the cooking. Could be portable just for when u do cook Jess.
Yeah we did think about making something like that but after 8 weeks on the road with it we never got it on the covers once so ideal, it’s quite a bit further than it looks on camera too 😁👍
Thanks so much. We’ve had nothing but a warm welcome from all of the lovely Norwegian people we have met, I have to say the customer service in this country is wonderful! Thanks so much for the tips and offers of help 💙
John, I am so glad you are feeling better! Yup! Helmets are life savers and or can have the effect of reducing injury. I am a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol and we see head injuries daily! Helmets reduce the chances of serious injuries dramatically. Hugs to you both! Now get back to having a wonderful trip!
As watching upload John and Jess I was thinking what a beautiful lifestyle and way too spend Christmas with a loved one which it is and was, but the ending was a stark reality of how quickly things can change. I'm so glad that you are well John and too have such a fantastic partner/wife too look out for you. Thank GOD you are both well. Bit late but hope you've had a good Christmas and Happy New Year. ❤ Safe travels.
That’s lovely of you to say thank you 💙 he definitely gave me a bit of a fright but we a grateful for the reminder, that like you say, life can change in the blink of an eye so we need to make the most of the time we have 💙 hope you have a wonderful 2024
I would have sued the centre - they said the snow was soft !! 🙂 Glad that you showed and explained, it will show those who think that helmets are uncool.
Wow, that was scary to watch, but thank you for being so honest and raw about it all. Look after yourself John boy, and god bless Jess for everything she did for you there. What a brilliant team you are
Hi to you both, just watched your fantastic vlog and omg, John I hope you've recovered from your nasty accident. I bet you were glad Jess is such a level headed caring person. Anyway I hope you carry on entertaining us, and have a fantastic 2024. You are the best!❤
I should have been born on Christmas day too. But it was nice and warm. Came out five days later, 76 years ago, today. Hope your head is better today. Gott nytt år. Unit
Jeeeeesus Jon, glad to hear your OK though. And Jess, what an absolute diamond you are. You did right to film as and when you did, if anything it would have helped doctors if Jon needed to go to hospital, they could have seen exactly how quickly he deteriorated. Enjoy the rest of your trip guys.
Jon, I'm glad you are okay. Happy birthday to you. It is worth remembering that skiing and snowboarding are extreme sports. I'm guilty of not wearing a helmet but you are right, they should be mandatory. Top tip for living in deep snow country from Japan. When you park, pull the windscreen wipers away from the windscreen. This prevents them from freezing to the windscreen and makes clearing the snow away a lot easier and you don't run the risk of damaging the blades. There are also snow blades to put on the windscreen wipers, but I have never done so. In extreme temperatures, it is also best to park the vehicle in gear and wherever safe to do so, leave the handbrake off. Otherwise, they may freeze and pulling away with frozen brakes, will damage them. Having a set of chocks on a long piece of string that you drape over the driver's door mirror is a good idea. Why the string? Acts like a reminder and helps you to pull the chocks out of the snow. Jess is right, 2WD and the right tyres or chains will allow you to drive safely in snow country. When I first came to Japan 32 and a half years ago, I had a second hand Toyota Corolla and that first season, I went skiing (both Alpine and Nordic) a total of 32 times and skied from December to May and did not get stuck once, even in white-out blizzards and deep snow. Neither did the car ever lose control. It can be done! Ahhh, those were the days. Skiing afterwork at resorts that had 'nighter' (night time skiing under floodlights) on Thursday, Friday and Alpine skiing on Saturday and Nordic on Sundays. Every week.
Sounds like you have had plenty of adventures yourself, crazy what a 2wd can do in snow hey, hope you still manage to get out on the slopes sometimes 😁💙
Good to see the fast recovery on the birthday boy. Have always advocated for helmets on the slopes, so much room for smashing your noggin and they are genuine lifesavers. Keep smashing the content guys, genuinely countdown to your next video they're that good.
Wow lost for word how stunning Norway is. Loved the beginners guide to snowboarding Jon nailed it. Thought Jon was taking the piss but the look on Jess's face comfirmed otherwise 😮. Thank you for inspiration, entertainment and a bloody good laugh you two have it all. Beer tokens sent ❤ happy new year 🎉
That’s ever so kind of you mate, like we said we are just grateful for you watching so the comment and the beers is just amazing, thanks again mate and hope you have a cracking new year 👍💙💪
All I can say is make time for the things that are important. Have patience for the things that aren’t. And have the wisdom to know the difference between the two! F**king love you two and your adventures. Stay safe!!
Totally agree about the cards by not doing cards. You're saving the environment. saving all them trees from being cut down just for some paper. that will be looked at and then chucked in the bin. If Jess wants her cards, you can send her a digital one. Lol. Love the videos. Keep it up. Stay warm.
Beautiful views and lovely music. Hey glad the old boy recovered and I hope it hasn’t dented your enthusiasm for enjoying the slopes. Helmets are essential as I have seen so many accidents over the years. Glad you got your white Christmas and here’s to your adventures in 2024. Cheers
Definitely not mate, hope to get back on the slopes this trip if we get time, just one of those things hey, it could happen crossing the street, Have a good new year mate 👍👍
I Was in Kings Lynn today with my Mum thought of you both then watched this today. Glad everything is ok - I have such amazing memories of Norway from 30 years ago. Amazing country wish I could go back
I don't know Jon , pretending to have concussion to get more birthday treats,,, classic! Seriously though glad you guys are both all right, it can be just as bad for the carer as the casualty. Rest up and safe onward travels guys.
Wow what a huge worry! Glad you are both ok and that you managed to stay calm through it all Jess! I don't think anyone is judging you for filming it when you're just showing the reality of van life. Happy new year both!
Yet another brilliant start to my weekend you two! I’m so pleased common sense prevailed Jon (bikini wise!)😅. More power to you Jess with learning to snowboard! Your meal looked absolutely amazing!! As usual I was chuckling out loud all the way through 🤣🤣. Until that is your accident Jon. So bloody pleased it ended well! It was obviously a really worrying time for you Jess. ❤️❤️. Keep safe both of you 🫠🫠🎄🎄🎄🎄
Thanks very much Russ, it’s been a great time so far and I’m glad the pain in the arse is back to his usual self, hope you have a lovely weekend Russ 💙
Congratulations, all your planning for this trip seem to have paid off. When you said that the buffet cost only 50 pounds each I couldn't believe it...Norway and cheap meals😮 Hope the rest of your travels are as good, especially when the temperature really drops . Always keep stocked up with food, you never know when you might be 'marooned '. Good luck and Happy New Year from Sweden 🏂
What a turn of events! Make sure you remind Jon just how that day went, to remind him he's not indestructable. I really look forward to your videos. Your vlogging style really is the best.
Thanks Alan, it’s actually quite good we got it on film really. Good to watch back and see easy things can go wrong and how I have to be carefull a bit more 👍
OMG Jon, that sounds like one hell of a lucky escape. thank god for your helmet!!!. think your helmet needs a christmas / birthday polish!! Also so lucky to have such a wonderful personal nurse in Jess. Please look after yourselves and enjoy... Remember Jon, no mater what the nurse says, keep away from the yellow snow!! xx
You two guys are special, Ying and Yang in fact. It's such a pleasure to follow your "life journey" both the good and not so good. John, belated birthday greetings to you. Nurse Jess you are a star and the way in which you looked after John was sensible, considered and calming. As your travels continue take care, stay safe, you are making a lot of people smile. Happy New Year to you both.
Gently does it. Same thing happened to me some years back on holiday in Greece involving a wonky old rental moped, too much sun & far too much Retsina. Over the handlebars & sat by the roadside until rescued by a passing holiday rep. Night under observation in hospital and fortunately released back into the community a little wiser the next day. Hoping you took the next few days easy and looking forward to good news next time. Best wishes. Pete
Forget all the safety wear, it's great to see you've hot each others backs . Adventure or otherwise . Happy Christmas ,Birthday and a prosperous 2024 😊😊😊
Omg that was scary… good that you showed that because that is the reality of these sports, people fall and get injured! Too often we just see the first wobbles and then semi pro skiing/boarding… good to see you guys keeping it real and made up our favourite cheeky chappie is back pestering you! The buffet and spa were exceptional value given where you are and the time of year, great to see you seizing the days!! Happy Christmas and since I’m watching NYE hope there are lots more (safe) adventures to look forward to in 2024!!
That was a lovely vlog from a lovely young couple. Your handling of Johns fall was splendid and showed just how you care for each other. Keep doing what you're doing and enjoy life but be careful. Incidentally, our son lives in Finland (Jakobstad) and we spent last Christmas there, it was as you showed, so cold this year! We travel there for each summer in our motorhome but have taken note of your winter tour with interest. Enjoy the Baltic states too. Thank you and take care. Alan and Linda Magee UK
Hi Alan and Linda, that’s lovely of you to say thank you. It’s such an amazing place to explore by camper isn’t it! Would love to see it in the summer too but the winter was just magical 🤩
You know what really makes your videos? The drone shots. Kept short in the edit but add so much quality to the overall film. Only other thing to possibly add is your route after leaving Lillesand. Look forward to the next instalment!
just to let you know there is a big storm coming to southern norway on the 31st..we in the uk are getting it today... Storm Henk is forecast to remain an intense extratropical cyclone as it continues east across the North Sea, reaching southern Scandinavia on Sunday morning. Conditions will deteriorate rapidly as the system grazes further east during the day, spreading heavy snow and intense winds with blizzard conditions into southern Norway, Sweden, the Baltic region, and southern Finland...so find a safe place guys and not too remote..good luck!
I don’t very often comment on UA-cam but well done for the bravery to show the good and the bad. Keep up the good work loving the videos. Thanks all the best❤
My birthday is boxing day and I know how John feels. I'm not a fan of Christmas or my birthday. I think it's probably because everyone forgets your birthday. Happy belated birthday. Thanks for making these videos, they are great and I love seeing your adventures.
Awesome video from Norway and I didn't see anything wrong with filming the fall aftermath and you both deserve Pat's on the back for describing the importance of helmets when skiing ...... Enjoy guys
Crikey, I'm glad John is OK and continues to recover well. Couldnt agree more with health and safety, sometimes it's a pain in the ***, but it's there for a reason 👍🐴🎿🏍🏎🛹
I very rarely comment on videos that I watch, I always like but rarely comment, however you both are an exception to the rule, you are both fantastic people and I absolutely love all of your vlogs, you are both open honest and genuine and I am so glad that I stumbled across your van build video on my homepage the one morning! Keep up the great work, excellent production quality and most of all tool talk Tuesday's and the (slightly) inappropriate jokes! Have a graet new year and I'm looking forward to the next vlog!
Looks like you are having a great time, Norfolk was wet and windy so you are in a much better place ⛷️, and John , listen to the General , she outranks you 😅
"No camping" is mainly so people don't take out chairs etc. and sit outside, taking up space. You are usually allowed to park for 24 hours, unless the are are signs.
I just love you two! Fabulous rapport between you! Got to be my most favourite UA-cam channel. Thank goodness the sexy John is ok - Jess you’re wonderful looking out for him. It must’ve been a very worrying time. As mentioned folks, ALWAYS wear a safety helmet. ❄️⛸️🥶💙
Wow! Your showing up on Yahoo News!!!! Cool! Jon!!! Did you ever get me phone #s of any smart, beautiful Scottish red head, ginger women with green eyes???? 😢 Mark in Milwaukee 🧀🍻 Happy New Year and continued success on your travel.
Crikey! Didn’t know that! Sorry to let you down but no, we didn’t meet any red headed ladies for you, will continue the search on our next visit to Scotland! Happy new year to you too 💙
Really nice of Jon to offer to do all of the cooking and cleaning of the van and to treat Jess to a romantic spa day and slap up meal......don't remember that Jon?......should have gone for a check up then you donut😂. Stay safe guys and keep having fun
That was brill! I like that you've touched on the subject of splashing out whilst on your travels. It's a fine line between being sensible with the budget and making some good memories. You've got it bang on! Shame about your bonce Jon 🤕 PS drone footage amazing!
Thanks Denise, we always used to spend as little as we could but like you say it’s getting the balance right of enjoying the trip but also spending wisely, Hope 2024 has plenty of adventures in store for you 💙💙
You two are quickly becoming my favorite Vloggers these days. I actually look forward to your antics... Thank you.
Thanks very much 😁💙
Totally agree with that comment and I was actually emotional watching you talk about the accident!! So glad you’re ok!
Totally agree with this lovely comment..David
Same here. Love the chatter, so natural so as lib.
You should have a tv travel programme!
I just have to say, in an internet world overloaded with such vanlife content, you two are one of a kind cause of your narration skills,. Its like I'm watching a Travel Channel show!
What a kind thing to say thanks very much 💙🥰

So glad he’s improved! Can’t imagine how scary that was! 🙏 he’s ok now going forward and you guys continue to have a fantastic time !
Thanks Jonathan, yep back to his annoying self, but wouldn’t want it any other way….. maybe 😂😂
Please take care, you have inspired thousands of us but your health takes priority over EVERYTHING. All the best for 24 and thanks for all in 23.
Thanks Johnny, your so right, it makes you realise how quickly things could go wrong, have a great 2024 💙

You can’t underestimate the consequences of a head injury when skiing injury…..Google Natasha Richardson

Oh Russ, that’s so lovely of you thank you 💙💙 of course Jon will treasure that card 😂🤦♀️ hope you have a brilliant new year 🥰
3:50 Remind who the childish tourist is...? 🤔😉 And Jess, you can't beat plenty of natural padding when learning to snowboard.... 😉😊
😂😂😂 that boy honestly! I think I needed some more 😂
Any journey has highs and lows, and it’s good that you don’t shy away from showing the lows. Glad to see John was back to his usual self at the end.
Looking forward to continuing your journey with you.
And Jess, good editing.

Thanks very much Dave, yep he’s very much back to himself 🤦♀️ but I love it too 😁💙
Thanks!

😂😂 thanks guys 😁💙
Thank you for taking the time to film on Xmas day and John's Birthday.
I'm glad you're ok after the bang on the bonce.
Happy New Year to you both.
🥳
Lovely to be able to share it with you 💙 thanks very much, hope you have an amazing 2024
I genuinely like how real you are! First you were fully transparent with the cost of the build (i randomly got this van build recommended after not watching van conversions for over a year) and now also showing the "bad" moments.
We need more channels like this, because life ain't all sunshine and roses!
It sure isn’t, thanks very much 👍👍
Glad to see that John is okay and never worry what people think you no you guys are good people. Enjoy
Thanks Mike 💙💙💙
I couldn't agree more, take every opportunity that comes your way as you never know what's round the corner... Glad you are both ok 👍
💙💙Funny we said that the night before the accident as it made us even more grateful for the time we have, nothing is guaranteed!
I know this is a older video, bit would you guy's not look at doing a splash board for the side of the bed. Just to prevent your bedding from the cooking. Could be portable just for when u do cook Jess.
Yeah we did think about making something like that but after 8 weeks on the road with it we never got it on the covers once so ideal, it’s quite a bit further than it looks on camera too 😁👍
Again the comments say it all...please both of you take care...today's video was honest, informative and a total pleasure to watch.. David.
Thanks very much David 💙💙
I loved your build video on the van but I suspect I'm going to LOVE the travel series. Very entertaining:) thank you.
Thanks Peter 😁👍
Thanks so much. We’ve had nothing but a warm welcome from all of the lovely Norwegian people we have met, I have to say the customer service in this country is wonderful! Thanks so much for the tips and offers of help 💙
John, if the ‘Mrs’ says you need first aid, you need first aid. Please.
I love you two, and its good that Jon has recovered from hitting his head 👌✊️✊️
Thanks Sam 💙💙
Oh man, wow 🤩 what a great vid, hope J is ok now you must of had a right knock, and I hope he got one 😳😉😂😂😂
😂😂 he will never know 😂
John, I am so glad you are feeling better! Yup! Helmets are life savers and or can have the effect of reducing injury. I am a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol and we see head injuries daily! Helmets reduce the chances of serious injuries dramatically. Hugs to you both! Now get back to having a wonderful trip!
You guys are legends, seen a few zipping about while we were on the slopes 👍👍👍
Jon,
Oh in all that excitement on your birthday, a birthday wish for you is; this coming year will be an epic year.
That’s so lovely Sandy thank you 💙
As watching upload John and Jess I was thinking what a beautiful lifestyle and way too spend Christmas with a loved one which it is and was, but the ending was a stark reality of how quickly things can change.
Glad that you showed and explained, it will show those who think that helmets are uncool.
😂😂😂😂, yeah glad I was wearing it that’s for sure 👍
Wow, that was scary to watch, but thank you for being so honest and raw about it all. Look after yourself John boy, and god bless Jess for everything she did for you there. What a brilliant team you are
Cheers Michael she’s a good old girl, hope you have a good new year mate 👍👍
Hi to you both, just watched your fantastic vlog and omg, John I hope you've recovered from your nasty accident. I bet you were glad Jess is such a level headed caring person. Anyway I hope you carry on entertaining us, and have a fantastic 2024. You are the best!❤
Thanks Andrea, yeah she’s a good old girl and I’d be lost without her for sure, hope you have a great 2024 😁💙
Glad you're ok mate and good to see you kept your sense of humour throughout 👍
Thanks David, helped break the worry a bit for me 💙
Stunning video. Thank you for taking us with you!
Bless Jon getting cocky on the slopes haha. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
😂😂😂 too big for my boots, commentators curse, cheers mate 👍👍👍
I should have been born on Christmas day too. But it was nice and warm. Came out five days later, 76 years ago, today. Hope your head is better today. Gott nytt år. Unit
😂😂 Happy birthday mate, hope you have a good one 😁😂
Jeeeeesus Jon, glad to hear your OK though. And Jess, what an absolute diamond you are. You did right to film as and when you did, if anything it would have helped doctors if Jon needed to go to hospital, they could have seen exactly how quickly he deteriorated. Enjoy the rest of your trip guys.
Thanks very much that’s lovely of you💙. Fortunately he back to his ‘normal’ self now!
Glad people are sending you stuff...heres 2 coffee's for you both 🍮🍮
😂😂😂 thanks Wayne we will have them now 👍👍
Love you two❤. Jess with Jon’s concussion you’ll be able to tell him he got his beep beep 😊
😂😂😂 thanks Peter
Hope Jon is ok can’t lose you two now, my favourite UA-camrs xx
😂😂 thanks Dave 💙💙
Good to see the fast recovery on the birthday boy. Have always advocated for helmets on the slopes, so much room for smashing your noggin and they are genuine lifesavers.
Keep smashing the content guys, genuinely countdown to your next video they're that good.
Thanks very much that’s really lovely to hear 😁😁💙👍
Stay safe!!
Thanks nick, so we’ll put 🥰🥰
Totally agree about the cards by not doing cards. You're saving the environment. saving all them trees from being cut down just for some paper. that will be looked at and then chucked in the bin. If Jess wants her cards, you can send her a digital one. Lol. Love the videos. Keep it up. Stay warm.
😂😂😂 thanks John digital cards all the way, or a text 😂😂👍
Beautiful views and lovely music. Hey glad the old boy recovered and I hope it hasn’t dented your enthusiasm for enjoying the slopes. Helmets are essential as I have seen so many accidents over the years. Glad you got your white Christmas and here’s to your adventures in 2024. Cheers
Definitely not mate, hope to get back on the slopes this trip if we get time, just one of those things hey, it could happen crossing the street,
Have a good new year mate 👍👍
I Was in Kings Lynn today with my Mum thought of you both then watched this today. Glad everything is ok - I have such amazing memories of Norway from 30 years ago. Amazing country wish I could go back
Thanks Paul, it’s truly a place you can’t explain until you have seen hey 💙
Jon twice answering "Switzerland" would have scared the pants off me, well done Jess for managing a very difficult situation.
I know it was so scary to hear that, crazy how we are so tough but so fragile at the same time, thanks 💙
I don't know Jon , pretending to have concussion to get more birthday treats,,, classic! Seriously though glad you guys are both all right, it can be just as bad for the carer as the casualty. Rest up and safe onward travels guys.
😂😂😂 i can’t remember if I did get the treat or not tho 😂, thanks mate 👍
Wow what a huge worry! Glad you are both ok and that you managed to stay calm through it all Jess! I don't think anyone is judging you for filming it when you're just showing the reality of van life. Happy new year both!
Thanks Tyler it’s much appreciated, have a lovely new year 💙
Yet another brilliant start to my weekend you two!
😂🤣😂 did the pain in the arse start after tumble on the snowboard Jess, or when he got his memory back? ❤️❤️😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
When I met him 🤦♀️😂
Ik hou van jullie. Jullie zijn een leuk stel, in een mooie camper, op een mooie plaats op aarde. Alvast een gelukkig en gezond 2024.
Thanks very much, you have a lovely 2024 too 😁💙
Congratulations, all your planning for this trip seem to have paid off.
Thanks very much Shaun, don’t worry Jess has always got a stock of food, mostly snacks but food never the less 😂 👍👍👍 happy new year to you too mate 👍
Remember Jon, no mater what the nurse says, keep away from the yellow snow!! xx
😂😂😂😂😂pmsl, gold this one 👍👍👍👍
You two guys are special, Ying and Yang in fact. It's such a pleasure to follow your "life journey" both the good and not so good. John, belated birthday greetings to you. Nurse Jess you are a star and the way in which you looked after John was sensible, considered and calming.
As your travels continue take care, stay safe, you are making a lot of people smile.
Happy New Year to you both.
Oh Lee 🥰 what a lovely thing to say thank you 💙 so wonderful to hear it makes you smile. Wishing you a very happy new year 💙
Hope your OK John safety 1st .. lucky you got Jess to look after you .. take care . Safe journey 🙏
I sure am, she’s a good old girl 👍 cheers mate 👍
Gently does it. Same thing happened to me some years back on holiday in Greece involving a wonky old rental moped, too much sun & far too much Retsina. Over the handlebars & sat by the roadside until rescued by a passing holiday rep. Night under observation in hospital and fortunately released back into the community a little wiser the next day. Hoping you took the next few days easy and looking forward to good news next time. Best wishes.
Pete
Thanks Pete, oh dear sounds a bad one that, again could of been much worse hey, such tough but fragile people we are hey, have a good new year mate 👍👍
Can't believe how calm you where, what a relief John's feeling better.
Thanks mate 👍
Forget all the safety wear, it's great to see you've hot each others backs . Adventure or otherwise . Happy Christmas ,Birthday and a prosperous 2024 😊😊😊
Thanks Darren 💙hope 2024 is amazing for you
Glad you're ok big guy, well done Jess, living the dream guys, looking forward to next week's video, stay safe
Thanks Bob 👍👍👍👍
Saturday morning treat... Thanks guys, have fun
Thanks for watching 😁👍
So glad you are OK. I had genuine concern for you watching this like I know you. Keep going you lovely pair. Love your vids❤
Thanks very much, I’m all good now 👍👍👍 back to tormenting Jess 👌👍
Nicely handled, Jess. And pleased that Jon's bump resolved itself in good order. Blwyddyn Newydd Dda. 🎉
Thanks very much 😁💙
Omg that was scary… good that you showed that because that is the reality of these sports, people fall and get injured!
Thanks so much Donna, we’ve had an amazing time, even with the bump to the head!! Hope you have a wonderful new year 💙
That was a lovely vlog from a lovely young couple.
Thanks very much tony 👍👍👍
just to let you know there is a big storm coming to southern norway on the 31st..we in the uk are getting it today...
Thanks very much mate I really appreciate the heads up 👍👍👍👍
I don’t very often comment on UA-cam but well done for the bravery to show the good and the bad. Keep up the good work loving the videos. Thanks all the best❤
Thanks very much, that means allot, and thanks for coming along on the adventure with us 💙
where would youtube be without drone footage, this is spectacular
😂😂😂 I know it does make it allot better with the drone hey 😁😁
What an amazing place , good to see John recovered , love the commentary Jess , best ever.
Aus
Thanks Colin we are absolutely loving it so far 😁👍
My birthday is boxing day and I know how John feels. I'm not a fan of Christmas or my birthday. I think it's probably because everyone forgets your birthday. Happy belated birthday. Thanks for making these videos, they are great and I love seeing your adventures.
Thanks very much 💙 hope you have a great new year and thanks for coming along with us 😁
What a way to spend Christmas! Looks absolutely amazing over there… You are giving me seriously itchy feet lol!! Happy belated Christmas 😊
Thanks very much 💙💙
To start, John, get wel soon. For you two, have a great 2024! The scenery is stunning and the vlog is really good. See ya 👋🏻
Cheers mate hope 2024 is a banger for you 👍
Awesome video from Norway and I didn't see anything wrong with filming the fall aftermath and you both deserve Pat's on the back for describing the importance of helmets when skiing ......
Enjoy guys
It’s so beautiful here 🤩 thanks very much 💙
Crikey, I'm glad John is OK and continues to recover well. Couldnt agree more with health and safety, sometimes it's a pain in the ***, but it's there for a reason 👍🐴🎿🏍🏎🛹
Thanks mate 👍👍👍
John hope you’re better, glad you guys highlighted this important message.
Sooo glad that u r alright. Jess deserves a medal. Look forward to your vlogs, so Thankyou. Keep safe and have a Happy Healthy New Year. 🎉😊

What a beautiful place . My gran visited Norway Switzerland in the 70s. I've still got all the slides and films they took . Would love to visit.
Would be so good to go back to the places where she went to see how different they are now 👍
I very rarely comment on videos that I watch, I always like but rarely comment, however you both are an exception to the rule, you are both fantastic people and I absolutely love all of your vlogs, you are both open honest and genuine and I am so glad that I stumbled across your van build video on my homepage the one morning! Keep up the great work, excellent production quality and most of all tool talk Tuesday's and the (slightly) inappropriate jokes! Have a graet new year and I'm looking forward to the next vlog!
Thanks very much Nigel, it’s so lovely of you to say, I hope you have a lovely new year and thanks for coming along with us on these adventures 💙
Looks like you are having a great time, Norfolk was wet and windy so you are in a much better place ⛷️, and John , listen to the General , she outranks you 😅
😂😂😂 she surely does 👍👍👍
"No camping" is mainly so people don't take out chairs etc. and sit outside, taking up space.
You are usually allowed to park for 24 hours, unless the are are signs.
Oh I see, that’s good to know for next time, in the uk it means no overnight parking
Oh that’s so lovely, and you’ve made Jons day calling him sexy!! Have a great new year
Wow! Your showing up on Yahoo News!!!! Cool!
Jon!!! Did you ever get me phone #s of any smart, beautiful Scottish red head, ginger women with green eyes???? 😢
Mark in Milwaukee 🧀🍻
Happy New Year and continued success on your travel.
Crikey! Didn’t know that! Sorry to let you down but no, we didn’t meet any red headed ladies for you, will continue the search on our next visit to Scotland! Happy new year to you too 💙
I love the opennesss and down to earthness of your Vlogs!!
That’s really nice of you to say thanks so much 🥰
Am glad you are ok Jon. I look back at my skiing journey, no helmets at all back then. Stay safe both of you.
Thanks Cath 😊
Really nice of Jon to offer to do all of the cooking and cleaning of the van and to treat Jess to a romantic spa day and slap up meal......don't remember that Jon?......should have gone for a check up then you donut😂.
Stay safe guys and keep having fun
😂😂😂 PMSL love this, also really enjoy people being called donuts 😂 thanks very much 💙
That was brill! I like that you've touched on the subject of splashing out whilst on your travels. It's a fine line between being sensible with the budget and making some good memories. You've got it bang on!
Shame about your bonce Jon 🤕
PS drone footage amazing!
Thanks Denise, we always used to spend as little as we could but like you say it’s getting the balance right of enjoying the trip but also spending wisely,
Hope 2024 has plenty of adventures in store for you 💙💙
So good to see you and the butter are both well , which is all that matters
😂😂😂 thanks Mike 👍👍
Glad to see you’re ok as that didn’t look good not remembering what day it was etc, please be careful and keep enjoying yourselves 🏴👍
I’m keeping a close eye on him still but he’s back to ‘normal’ now. Thanks very much 💙
