"So maybe it's not that you've been cheated out of an unlimited supply of time; Maybe it's almost incomprehensibly miraculous to have been granted any time at all." Easily one of the most powerful quotes I've ever heard.
My favorite part of the book is when it dawns on you that you might not be the next elon musk. Realizing this was my first step to actually making an impact. The reduced pressure of “this has to be great” makes me more productive given my perfectionist tendencies, and by realizing this, I shifted my focus on other goals to moving forward. Deya I’m a fan of your work, 1 out of every 10 books you summarize I have read, I just think that reading the book is the biggest factor to enacting change and maybe less on the content side, it only takes one good thing that really stick to make a book worth it. With watching your videos, I consider thought time on the book is crucial for it to start sculpting your belief. I’d rather see you try and convince me to read the book, I think that would be truly helpful.

@11:21 agreed, i think it can really affect your ability to have genuine relationships since you can start to see any interactions as prospecting oppurtunities
Hey Deya, this is a masterclass! I have been incredibly touched by your soft/cozy entepreneur videos, and this one is really a clear step for achieving it, and avoiding burnout. I have had my share of burnouts since I work for myself, and for the last year I have been trying to learn a new way to work and ultimately, exist. You help a lot without even knowing, so thank you for everything you do. 🖤
First time on your channel, and I have to say, your advice is spot on. Thanks for creating and sharing this video! If you haven’t already, I think you’d really enjoy the book Singletasking.
Not sure who said it-maybe Mark Manson or maybe I did-but it’s counterintuitive: accepting you can’t do everything at once and letting go of control makes you more productive. Trying to juggle it all is mentally draining and often leads to doing even less. And the thing is, no matter how much you hear it from others, you truly understand the meaning of it on your own with experiences. Btw my atelic activity is singing, or rapping randomly, and sometimes even recording it (which is actually something I can do without caring about money forever, and i've been doing it for more than a decade!) Btw, idk if you need suggestion about sponsorship or not, but I used to watch a channel called Electroboom and the way he started sponsorship was to giveaway products related to the niche (it is an electronic channel, he used to giveaway oscilloscope) through that sponsorship. Slowly he even started giving away to schools that couldn't afford it. It never felt weird to me a bit. Just a thought.

nobody should want to be the next Elon Musk specifically anyway, one was more than enough for the planet
