oooo I actually found my first video editor by looking on youtube; I searched for 'how to edit like ______' and found this girl's tutorial on how to edit in a style I really liked, reached out to her via IG and asked if she'd be open to freelancing for me. She said yes -- she edited tons of my videos! :) That was one of my favorite ways because I could see her portfolio directly on UA-cam via the videos she's edited! I'd definitely also recommend looking on ytjobs.co/! I spent a lot of time browsing there, and also on Contra, on Upwork, on Fiverr and asking people for their recommendations. hope that helps! :)
Hey Mathilde! Great Q - it's normally people I've been following for a while who have withstood the test of time. They also tend to be people I've already spent a bit of $ with and know that they know what they're talking about. So I'd be thinking about your favorite educators, people who have really taken time to build up trust with you, they've told you stuff that was actually useful + specific, they have proof and authority -- people whose stuff you find super impressive and cool every time you see it. And then honestly I just DM them and ask (most of the time they're open to it even if they don't have an existing audit offer!).
Love this, I really think this is one of the smartest moves to level up, especially if you're a solo founder, which I understood you were! I've been scared to reach out and ask for help like this, but it's simply like shooting myself in the foot! Thanks for all your tips @@MyNameIsDeya (and amazing videos as always) 🤗

What software do u use to track expenses?
I have an accounting firm + software that tracks expenses -- but what you see in the video is Airtable! :) I'm a huge fan of Airtable.
