What would you have preferred? This update or the Fallout London mod? Such a shame, this update has delayed this insane mod! 😥
The update really didn't improve anything like we got 60fps on console but they turned the graphics down for more fps, how lazy. The game just fucking freezes for 1-2 seconds now every minute or so I don't know why. Vats is literally broken it targets people through walls. loading screens are longer and get worse the more you play. The only thing good is the free creation club stuff.

No one expects NextGen Graphics from a game that has been out for 9 years. "All a NextGen" update is, is them Upping/removing the Framerate Cap, and making it so resolutions and Aspect ratios keep up with Newer hardware. Anyone who was expecting better graphics are the same people who ate crayons as a kid.

Im getting stutters i didnt get before and the fkers deleted my whole load order....... again. Im just sick of them breaking the game everytime they touch it and just throwing their hands up.
The update should have been delayed so they could have ironed out more bugs.
Only 20 fixes and it breaks more, they should have delayed the update to fix at least 50. Especially the engine level bugs that are more difficult to fix from mods.
It made it hard for me to get the game to run on pc with a monitor over 60fps, as it made turning v-synch not work
I fixed the audio glitch through switching my hard drive to SSD. Skyrim also has audio glitches when it comes to walking and running or no jump affect sound or landing sound.
My PC has x3 SSD’s, I don’t even have a HDD 😂
My game literally runs worse than it did when Cyberpunk got released, and I play on the Xbox Series X. Worst optimized game ever and it makes me sad
I blocked updates for Fallout 4 in Steam for this very reason. Im tired of their stupid shit updates breaking my save game. Its like they half ass the updates every time. Just stop supporting the game and give us what we want. A new Fallout game with REAL role playing content.
See I have heard this time and time again since the release of this "Next-Gen Update" that mod creators wasn't aware of it, the update was announced in 2022.. So I don't understand how people wasn't aware.. Yeah it sucks that it has broke mods, yeah I agree that calling this a "Next-Gen Update" was completely misleading but unless people have been living under a rock for the best couple years they would have known about the forecoming update at somepoint.
The “performance” mode is choppy. Downtown is still crashing. New weapon’s are invisible. Red triangles are invading my game. Ps5 and Xbox series x

Steam is OFFLINE on my both rigs - "skyrim" and "fallout" ones. And It will stay that way.

But now I just get a black screen on start up. And I can not belive they still not fixed the debris issue.

@SKvldlf that's fks up. I put in hella hours on reggy XB1 and when the CC bs dropped the game became unplayable. Couldn't even go into downtown without the game bricking. So I feel ur pain.

I'm glad I'm one of the lucky ones who's game and mods didn't get fuck over, in reality for me it actually runs better. But I do understand for the people who game did get fucked up by this update.
I’m on console, and use mods. Before the update, my game ran beautifully. Now, the mods are broken and the games performance is unplayable. This update ruined it for me. I’m not interested in playing vanilla FO4. I’m bummed.
Game just keeps crashing every few minutes not dealing with constant crashes just wont play.
I rigged my game to never update back when the FO4 update was still just rumor. Because I know Bethesda ...Bethesda never changes.

It's a lot of blablabla and nothing more. It's clearly a hater review. Those people don't understand it's an upgrade, not a remaster, and it will need more patches. Every update has bugs, any game update. And these "jokes"... OMG. Modding a game has risks even without updates. I already broke my game a lot of times simply using mods.

For me, "next gen" would be equal to the Amazon series level graphics. Otherwise I can't see any difference. As for this forced up or the Fallout:London I would have preferred London.
In FO4's case next gen update means it went from PS3 level to PS4 level LOL. There is nothing current gen in this game and neither in Starfield for that matter.

Yeah you don't just listen to fallout fans, you listen to angry people on forums who aren't playing from fresh saves, but instead are playing with busted ini files and compromised installations because of having 200+ mods that now won't work, but have damaged your saves. For PC it's a minor almost nonexistent update, but it's still an update. Bethesda as well as every other dev, don't care about your mods and shouldn't have to cater to your mods. All they need to provide is modding tools, the rest is your own risk.
You think thats bad, people are promoting fallout 76 cause of the show hype telling them to sub 1st also.😢
