It may seem like that at first. But once you get to using this technique, you won’t even have to think about it. There’s a few techniques that I learned on FL that seemed the exact same way but once I got to using them, I never really had to think about it anymore. It’s all about practice and repetition.
I think it has something to do with the sound profile of the rendered audio.. im fairly certain the rendering does something specific but i have ZERO idea with fl 😭I've been using ableton since live 4 @@augustobasualdo4903
Crazy seeing this dudes face. I remember years ago on YT just listening to his beats. That M J NICHOLS TAG haha, good times. Glad 2 see you still aound today my G.
I always just render out the whole song, open up another project and automate the tempo that way. I might be a monster for that, but it works best for me lol.
See this is why I use the sp 404 mk2, all I have to do is resample start with bus one with no effects and then adjust and add one effect then when the song starts switch to bus two and have it all recordered onto the daw
Just duplicate the beat, make unique, put it on another mixer track, and do the automation. Delete the original beat and the duplicated one will be automated.
This is a lot of steps for something so simple
Is there a way to do it more efficiently?
I would think you could just automate the master tempo and if you want that pitched, automate master pitch of the session as well
@brydson yes. Click the master pitch nob and create the automation over the section u want.
I agree

Yo I needed this thanks
...in ableton we just... automate the project tempo. 💀

Fl u can automate everything he showed it in the video idk y he made like another sample of his beat
.....you can literally automate everything in ableton too lol@@EverythingIsBurnt
Project tempo drop down is CLUTCH thank you

I've been trying to find this forever now
W MANS made it so easy to learn
God, I wish I could rewind it 😂 but thanks for a cool vid!
FINALLY OH GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH
*Cough* ctrl shift c highlight section right click a on tempo way faster *cough*
Thanks
Just make an automation for the tempo bro…
Super clutch advice🔥
yo! THANK YOU SO MUCH
✨GOLD✨
SAVED MA BEAT
life saver
legend bro thank you
Shift drag the one on the end so it stays the same
Good video, but I think the last point should be 80% instead of 75%, I think the tempo you have the project at is set to 80%
Yeah, default values for automation clips, unless you mess with it beforehand, are usually 80%.
Bro your a wizard mate thanks heaps for your help 🙌😎
Repeat pattern and add automation on tempo
My whole fl froze now
Yessir, thank you!!
Thanks bro 👍
If you select just the area where you want the automation clip to be, you won't have to shorten it
Needed that 😈
YES! THANK YOU 🤜🤛
thank you for your unselfish share
See this is why I use the sp 404 mk2, all I have to do is resample start with bus one with no effects and then adjust and add one effect then when the song starts switch to bus two and have it all recordered onto the daw
Or just use the fade tool in logic
OMGGGGG THANKS !!!!!!!
Just use half time the plugin
thx
VESTIGE please come back 😅
Ohhhhhh that’s how 🔥🔥🔥🫡
someone gonna want stem outs and you gonna be shook
I like to keep my bpm synched.
Anyone else hate when a song starts like this?
my god
ty you helped me also whats the beat name?
The only problem i have is that it changes my beat whole beat tempo
keep ur tempo, right click on it and click on "copy value", after u go on ur automation and u past the value on the last point of that automation
Bro over complicated the automate mode 😂
Any body know why the “song selection” option doesnt pop up for me ? Only “pattern”and “full song”
Thanks my guy… definitely subscribed
A lot of work for something you could just do by automating halftime plugin

Damn bro you should start your own channel with your huge ass brain. That way you won't have time to be a douche bag on other people's videos.

Hey, slow down the explanation. It’s being explained at pace as if I already knew the steps
It won’t keep my original tempo 😐
Copy the original tempo and paste it onto the end of the automation for the tempo
@@zerowahh how do we do that
@@mack11beats right click the it says copy value and later paste it there
I know I'm late but just hold shift while dragging the last point
@@user-lp7bj6hl2gholy shit dude 7 months💀
Is there a way to do this on a phone?

Why does it create an automation clip for the entire track? Not just the selected part
Make another auto mation clip for the rest of it that’s a normal automation clip
how to remove the strange sounds they only occur during this slowdown
On my time knob it only says auto detect with beats and bars …. What to do ?
how do you fix the slight stop before the drop
What if I do my work in half time ?
how do i add reverb to it instead
Does an1 know how 2 do this on ableton?
Just duplicate the beat, make unique, put it on another mixer track, and do the automation. Delete the original beat and the duplicated one will be automated.
Kool
2:00 how you delay the top note like that on FL?
is this beat up?
How did you get the 808s to hit like that?
It's an CTM 808, most of the Yeat type drum kits have it.
@@chrystopherramos7716 thats ctm 808? thats crazy since i never liked ctm 808 it sounded distorted but ill try it thanks gng
OR YOU COULD AUTOMATE CLIP ON HALF TIME PLUG IN
Shit really? **opens sample of Aerith getting stabbed in the back**
You can literally just make a bpm automation clip and it does it for everything. Fuck all that complicated shit☠️
it was easier then it looked nigga 💀 he made it look complicated but its easy i used it for my pluggnb/plugg beat 💀
And you have what it sounds like as I pull my pants down before I destroy a portable Jonathan
What if it speeds up to the wrong bpm?
Change the end of the automation clip up or down to match your bpm
Sheeesh
this can work with vocals too?? lmk anyone
& that intro Sounded amazing…. Or not
cochise beat
How tf do you do this in logic?
cant
:33
Bro Just copy value and create the audioclip
How do you do this in Logic?
