First i would like to thank you for your time & effort to squeeze this in your day and share it with us. Amazing genuine reaction as usual. Yes he was talkin about the hypocricy & corruption of those with religous & political authority..Below are three tracks that I hope you’ll be able to add them to your list (since you extended 2pac week): - Shed So Many Tears - Only Fear Of Death - Hail Mary
I agree with walid 💯 , I really want to see your reaction and thoughts on the others tracks walid listed !!! Blasphemy and the 3 others are of my all time top hip hop songs ever !!!
The hell with all the ppl that's telling u to take a break on pac ...there is not 1 other hip hop artist that had a message and a strong voice like pac did
It really depends on who’s listening to the music. One rappers message may seem powerful to one listener but not to another. As with beauty being in the eye of the beholder, a messages power is within the ear of the listener. List of a few that I think are better at delivering a "message" - Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, The Roots, Chino XL, Prodigy. It all depends what message you're searching for
And not really,, Tupac is consistently an top 5 lists of all time. I agree rakim is an all time best. Kane too. Still would put my dollar on Tupac being ranked higher than both more times than not, on any respected hip hop’s “best list”
My opinion is, Tupac Amaru Shakur IS the best rapper to have ever touched the earth. This song is (In my opinion) the greatest R.A.P. ever written. As great as he was this was his MASTERPIECE.
Tupac was very spiritual but he understood the manipulation of religion by man for personal, financial, and territorial gains. This is one of the greatest songs ever written (any genre). he wrote it in 15mins. Long live Makaveli!!!
I am a black man and a die-hard Tupac fan. I love this guy because he gets it I don't care if you pause it and go back a million times. I just love the fact that you pay attention. Dissect and understand and I'm subscribed because I want to hear more
The reason he laughed half way through this song is because he said ; “God’s coming SHE’s just taking her time” - referring to God as a female. Most people refer to god as being a man… Tupac’s mind was on a whole other level…. an absolute Legend.

Yep… this was not jut his breaking with tradition (a few of the Outlawz, Yafeu Fula ‘Kadafi’ , Mutah ‘Napoleon’ and his step father Mutulu Shakur were all Muslim converts)… but in several songs he talks about his homies “swearing on their gods” so he didn’t subscribe to any religion, and most likely was an agnostic, but respected and referenced the religions he and his “family” (in the Vin Diesel sense) grew up with…

There is a part of his 1995 Vibe interview where he talked about religion and basically states that he believes in God but he doesn't confirm to all the narratives about what is good and what is bad and how God judges. Hence Only God Can Judge Me. From my standpoint he was a firm believer but knew it was a rigged system to keep people in line. And he made the mention of "why does God need Gold ceilings and colored windows to talk to me". Basically detailing how people use religion to gain wealth and make these extravagant buildings. Where as a merciful and sympathetic God that is truly loving wouldn't place emphasis on where you pray and reach him. Good reaction! Keep at it.

"Memories of a past time, givin' up cash To the leaders, knowin' damn well, it ain't gonna feed us" - this could also reference giving money to the church donations collection (leaders as in priest) as they do some give more to the church and have fuck all to live and eat with hoping that blessing will save them 🤔
You are the only guy that reacted to this song and understood it. You have ears to listen and a brain to understand it. The rest of these so called music lovers don’t have the thinking capacity to swallow real raps. They think Drake and J Cole is deep. I’ve been telling people that this is Pacs best song ever. I heard this in 96 and burst out in tears because we shouldn’t be judged and condemned because they confused the shit out of us . Real classic hip hops never dies. Great Job And it’s “ Why u got these kids minds , saying that their evil While the preachers getting filthy rich but I ain’t gods people.

@@leronisnownorel6702That's because of them UA-cam lyric videos. They always mess his lyrics up

U the best reactor no cap, always paying attention and rewinding keep it up brother
Thank you!
2pac understood the jesus story. Anyone that goes against the norm with a militant mindset will be crucified but they will be remembered for standing up and speaking out.
Bro you are a legend. There is no one in 2pacs league. There never has been. Never will be
Greatest to ever do it 2Pac
This reaction was fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥

"Memories of a past time, givin' up cash
To the leaders, knowin' damn well, it ain't gonna feed us" - this could also reference giving money to the church donations collection (leaders as in priest) as they do some give more to the church and have fuck all to live and eat with hoping that blessing will save them 🤔
Spot on
Awwwww yesssss !!!!! Didnt think to stay in that religous lane. I let emotions take over lol
That's what I thought he meant too
Elitist/the leaders?
The Bodyguard!!!
On point man, on point
I thought he said “niggas in Jerusalem waiting for signs,Gods coming SHE just taking her time”
Tupac's song has been holding me hostage since 1994
Great reaction as huge PAC fan I'm really enjoying your journey through his music/lyrics
Blasphemy is deep. U got it my brother 💪🏿💯💯💯
He said God " she's just taking her time"... he's the best 4 a reason
Still I Rise (original)
Pacs greatest verse ever!!! Please here this song and I swear your mind will be blown
That verse blows me away
Pac talking about how he came into this world...that verse is untouchable!!!
Just listen to the one verse and break it down you do a hour video
Also waiting for This gem. :3
I don’t care for the og version… the album version was better mastered better beat was better much cleaner
@@getdownorlaydown763 never seen anyone not like the original.
Tupac is the greatest ever I’m so happy you’re seeing it! He is the most lyrical and thought provoking individual that God ever made!
Great Job
And it’s “ Why u got these kids minds , saying that their evil
While the preachers getting filthy rich but I ain’t gods people.
Thank you Htown 🙌🙌🙌🙌 and so glad it hit right for you!
This song always drew me in when I was a kid for some reason before I really understood what he was saying. I'm 34 now... My top 5 pac songs.
Great reactions keep up the work ethic. NZ
Just found your channel through these Tupac’s reactions , like he always said don’t just bob your head to the music listen to the lyrics man’s a genius , it still hurts that he got took at such a young age imagine what he would have achieved more much more than just a rapper , legends live on xxx
Welcome to the channel!!! And seen your comments (I get a ton so doing my best to reply 😊😊)
@@brainsqueezereactions The whole song is metaphorical, metaphysical & spiritual. Also it's cutting the bullspit of religion. "In Jerusalem waiting for signs God's coming ''she's' just taking her time (ha-ha). Double entender being blasphemous is exposing the truth. Tupac was a genius.
Give back what you earn meaning shar your blessings
25:23 "while the preacher getting freaky you say honour Gods people"... He then says Pope you got it right bro ...it's got layers and layers he asks have you ever seen a crack head? That's eternal fire🤯
This is the goat 💯
Crack heads are basically zombies, hell on earth, that's eternal fire
Its while the preacher being wicked you say honor gods people
@@rodgergeathers7366 no its freaky. Not wicked.
Beautiful reaction, PAC knew that he would not be alive when this album would be released! One day in the future you will have to listen to this Album from start to finish the way he designed every song except toss it up, to flow from one song into the next song is pure genius and art, had this album in CD player for 5 years straight, when riding hustling in these streets
Yo man! Every time you say “I don’t give a F***” a true Pac’s fans feel you man.
We feel you bro!
✊ thank you for the energy 🙏
Love this! thank you my bruva
React to Me and my girlfriend… I could name 100s for you but over time you’ll get there. You’ll never run out of PACs materiel believe that
You starting to slowly become my favorite bro, I’m still listening, I never crowned a reactor, but I’m close.
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Ill keep pushing for that crown!!!!
U have one of the best reactions u go in depth with each bar which I appreciate and to hear it from a perspective from someone not from the hood is what makes u my fav reaction person try Brenda’s got a baby or hit ‘em up best diss song ever

"God's Coming She Just Taking Her Time"
great reaction! He said " God is coming she s just takin her time" laughing like what if god was a woman.
Here are the lyrics for what is In my opinion, the best Tupac track of all time for lyrics and beat. My absolute favourite. Still blast this in the car regularly!
================================================
God has a plan and the Bible unfolds that wonderful plan
Through the message of prophecy
God sent Jesus into this world to be our Saviour
And that Christ is returning, someday soon
To unfold the wonderful plan of eternity, for my life and your life
As long as we're cooperating with God
By accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour
And as the Lord, does return in the coming seven days
We'll see you next time here on This Week in Bible Prophecy
Tupac, don't start that blasphemy in here
Makaveli, the new breed , now remember what my pops told me
The new word, follow me, remember what my pops told me
My family tree, consists of drug dealers, thugs and killers
Strugglin', known to hustle, screamin', fuck they feelings
I got advice from my father, all he told me was this
Niggaz, get off your ass if you plan to be rich
There's ten rules to the game but I'll share with you two
Know, niggaz gon' hate you for whatever you do
Now rule one, get your cash on, M.O.B.
That's Money Over Bitches 'cause they breed envy
Now rule two is a hard one, watch for phonies
Keep yo', enemies close nigga, watch yo' homies
It seemed a little unimportant, when he told me I smiled
Picture jewels being handed to an innocent child
I never knew in my lifetime I'd live by these rules
Initiated as an outlaw, studying rules
Now papa ain't around, so I gotta recall
Or come to grips with bein' written on my enemy's walls, rest in peace
Promised, if I have a seed, I'ma guide him right
Dear Lord, don't let me die tonight
I got words for my comrades, listen and learn
Ain't nuttin' free, get back what chu earned, no doubt
Gettin' higher than a motherfucker, blessed and pleased
This Thug life'll be the death of me, c'mon, yeah
Now remember what my papa told me
Remember what my papa told me, blasphemy
Love for dem dat steal in the name of da Lord
Dem a tell nuff lie but holdin' my bird in a cloud
Usin' the name of de Lord in vein
While the people in de ghetto, feel nuff pain
We probably in Hell already, our dumb asses not knowin'
Everybody kissin' ass to go to Heaven, ain't goin'
Put my soul on it, I'm fightin' devil, niggaz daily
Plus the media be crucifying brothers severely
Tell me, I ain't God's son, nigga, Mom a virgin
We got addicted, had to leave the burbs, back in the ghetto
Doin' wild shit, lookin' at the sun, don't pay
Criminal mind all the time, wait for Judgment Day
They say Moses split the Red Sea
I split the blunt and rolled the fat one, I'm deadly, Babylon beware
Comin' from the Pharoah's kids, retaliation
Makin' legends off the shit we did, still bullshittin'
Niggaz in Jerusalem, waitin' for signs
God promised, she's just takin' her time
Living by the Nile, while the water flows
I'm contemplating plots, wondering which door to go
Brothas getting shot, comin, back resurrected
It's just that raw shit, nigga check it, that raw shit
Now remember what my papa told me
Cannot remember what my papa told me, blasphemy
Love for dem dat steal in the name of da Lord
Dem a tell nuff lie but holdin' my bird in a cloud
Usin' the name of de Lord in vein
While the people in de ghetto, feel nuff pain
The preacher want me buried why? 'Cause I know he a liar
Have you ever seen a crackhead, that's eternal fire
Why you got these kids minds, thinkin' that they evil
While the preacher bein' richer, you say honor God's people
Should we cry, when the Pope die, my request
We should cry if they cried when we buried Malcolm X
Mama tell me, am I wrong, is God just another cop
Waitin to beat my ass if I don't go pop?
Memories of a past time, givin' up cash
To the leaders, knowin' damn well, it ain't gonna feed us
In my brain how can you explain, time in BC
It's hard enough to live now, in these times of greed
They say Jesus is a kind man, well, he should understand
Times in this crime man, my thug nation
Do whatchu gotta do but know you gotta change
Try to find a way to make it out the game
I leave this and hope, God, can see my heart is pure
Is Heaven just another door? I leave this here
I leave this and hope, God, see my heart is pure
Is Heaven just another door? And my people say
Love for dem dat steal in the name of da Lord
Dem a tell nuff lie but holdin' my bird in a cloud
Usin' the name of de Lord in vein
While the people in de ghetto, feel nuff pain
Our father, who art in Heaven
Hallow be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
In earth, as it is in Heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us, and evil
For God, is the kingdom, and the power
And the glory...forever and ever and ever

Thanks so much for taking your time to psychoanalyze Tupac’s words for us 🙏
You are right we are here for him not for you
But seeing how well you understand him, now I am curious what you think about others. So thanks to Pac, you got yourself another fan.
And again, thanks for doing this. You are spot on with Tupac’s interviews, this is my first time checking out your reactions to his songs
I have a feeling I will not be disappointed. 😉
God Is Amazing And Pac Wasn't Disrespecting God But Rather Standing Up For What God Stands For 🙏 Because God Never Intended For Us To Be Religious Because It Causes Division Amongst The People.Which We All Should Love One God In Which It Leads Us To Love One Another.God Blessed Pac To Be A Soulja For Him And Made Him Very Intelligent.
Death Around the Corner is one of my favorites tracks
I got shot five times but I'm still breathin'
Livin' proof there's a God if you need a reason - Tupac Letter to my unborn child
You listen to Tupac in the same way I did when it was new. I analyzed every bar. I learned every verse. It makes me happy to see another generation falling in love with this legend!
Yes! More Tupac… it’s going to be a great time I look forward to it
Bro i instantly subscribed and liked..im 40 i started listening to pac at 16 when he died and EVERYONE was talking about him and listeting to his music for the first time or reflecting back..therr was a whole wave of new pac fans after his death in 96,mostly the youth as he wanted,i was one of them...there were several verses you misread but i just want to point out the "if i dont go pop" meaning if he doesnt switch to pop music..im loving your first time reactions to pac and that you actually underetand how meaningful his lyrics are, looking foward to the extended weeks of nothing but pac
Thank you for giving me the space to miss a few lines and bars 🔥🙌🔥🙌
This song came out in September 1996 but hit the Billboard Charts in the Spring of 1997!
"living by the Nile while the water flows"
Mystical as fuck
He said, have you ever seen a crackhead that’s eternal fire. Meaning being a crackhead is hell / eternal 🔥
He gets it.
Blast 4 me baby.
"Thats" eternal fire...
The Goat🐐
thank you man preciate you for doing this❤️ 2pac 4 life🙏🏽
I grew up in jersey in the 90’s. I’ve listened to hip hop since i can remember. My point being i thought i heard pac enough to not be shocked. I never knew the title and hook was a double. Blast for me and blasphemy, what a double. Fits the song message
Had to re-Watch This. 🥷🏿❤️😂
Brain, you're a vessel.
And she's speaking the lord's 🙏 in the background crazy!!!!!!! Bro
"While the preachers being freaky, you say honor God's people"

Aaaa my man!!! You kill me with kindness 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 thank you so much and im excited for everytrack now!!!
Brain squeeze catching the holy ghost on this tupac track.🤣🤣🤣 I love you reactions. I'm late to the channel, but I love you appreciate the music and take your time to actually dissect what pac is saying. I'm subscribed
Hey bro keep up the good work 👏🏾.. A couple of corrections on Blasphemy: "Have you ever seen a crackhead PASS eternal fire 🔥".. And "While the preacher's being FREAKY you say honor God's people.." If you listen closely to that verse you can hear Pac in the background saying "come here boy" to kind of troll those types of preachers that prey on young boys.. ✌🏾
Oh I forgot one and this is just my opinion from listening but I think he says "In my brain how can you explain times in B.C. (before Christ), it's hard enough to live now in these times of...." the on screen lyrics say D.C. which I guess is possible but doesn't make sense..
After listening more and more to Blasphemy maybe he did say "have you ever seen a crackhead (now) that's eternal fire.." I'm not sure as I use to be on that one..
@@jaytaylor3280he said in these times of greed
Yes! Glad you did this, probably one of my top 10 Pac songs. 🔥 🥶 🔥 🥶
