I'm sitting here listening to this and his astonishment(s) on certain things when he is listening to Pac... I've listened to a lot of his "Reaction Videos" about Pac but when he wasn't realizing that Pac's girlfriend was truly his gun, I had to comment. It blows my mind how the younger generation don't get it but it was great when he finally did.
Best reaction video he has done yet. This guys videos are great. It's nice to see someone as they truly start to understand my life and the way I grew up... Ha, lol!

Yes, it is definitely nostalgia. Still remember like it was yesterday when my brother called me in to his room and said, "listen to this," and hit play on "Ambitionz az a ridah." It had just been released that day so 12 or 13 year old me hadn't heard it and I remember what I was doing and my reaction when that piano rif dropped. I knew Pac was back! Sadly, I also remember where I was and what I was doing when my brother called and told me he had died.

_“Seventeen like Brandy, you just want to be down”_
Haha, this has to be my fav line. Brandy was the hottest female R&B singer at the time. She was 17 when _Me & My Girlfriend_ was released and _I Just Wanna Be Down_ was the title of her first single. Supposedly it was also what she said to Pac the one and only time they met. She was a huge fan so you can imagine how ecstatic she was to know Tupac was also a fan of her music.
He promised her that they’d do a song together one day but he was taken away from us before it could happen. He did shout her out here though and she ended up doing the hook on his song _Baby Don’t Cry (Keep Ya Head Up Pt. II)_ posthumously. It’s from his Still I Rise album and another one of those gut wrenchingly beautiful songs like _Brenda's Got A Baby_ .
Another great reaction as always! 😊

It's interesting how this song came to be. So 2Pac had beef with Nas (as you saw from the other song you reacted to) and Nas took the beat off of 2Pac's All Eyez On Me and used it for his song Street Dreams. So 2Pac then took the concept of Nas' I Gave You Power as retaliation and gave us this song.

Oh also he said "U always want 2 be down, 17 like Brandy", Brandy the R&B singer had a song called "I Wannabe Down" when she was 17 years old, also 17mm is another gun. Simply genius.

What Tupac is doing on this track is very clever; he is double speaking, meaning is that he is speaking about his "relationship" with his different 🔫 but the lyrics is so cleaver that it is also parallel with a woman...

In this song his "Girlfriend" represents a gun. That's why he brought up numbers like 45, 9, or 22. Those are all handgun calibers

The best part of this video is how it all clicked into place for you when you misunderstood a lyric lol. The actual lyric was "In time I clock figures", in other words making money, it was not Glock fingers.
That being said, when it dawned on you, it had me laughing when it hit you. I felt the same way the first time i heard it.

Man! Just seeing how much you love this shit brings me great joy! I swear to fuckin God!! I spent all my 30's trippin out on how he put out, a new CD every year, for 10 yrs strait, after he died! Of never b4 heard shit!every year, for 10yrs! After he died!! And 4 of them double disc!!
    1) R U still down
    2)greatest hits
    3)Better Days
    4)until the end of time
That's not all, after 22yrs since his death was the last song so far that I never heard b4. I mean you know? And that was with Nipsey Hussle, song called Chess. But, yo I had to study his lyrics and it lead me to self discovery, gave me confidence, saved me from suicide too!! made my head bop, did so much for me, that I regard Tupac as the second coming of Jesus Christ himself! We just never knew it! I was so mad for years and years. Coz i was starting to suspect the Federal Govt of killing him! I wish he cudve met Obama, his line: America ain't ready for a black president!! You gotta listen to all his shit! You prolly stuck on it now coz your gonna wanna study his stuff now! Fo'sheow!!! I'm 3yrs older then him born in '68, and so we came up in the same Era. But the difference is I'm from Maui. I'm 54 yrs old now, so Pac wudve been 51. I know his birthday from that one song,
    but here's some favs:
    1)White Man's World
    2)Lord Knows
3)How long will they mourn me
    4)Lil' homies
    5)This ain't livin
    6)Changes
    7)Never call you bitch again
    8)Keep your head up
    9)Krazy
    10)Until the end of time
    11)Fake ass bitches
    12)Fuck all yell
There's too much! I shud list all the Cd's I collected every year, for 10yrs strait. I still have them! We gotta talk man! I wanna see how far you get with his shit. I enjoy seeing people listen to him and get it! I'm glad I share your enthusiasm. His words are like my teachings. I live my life by the teachings of Tupac Shakur! Whoa! I just thought of that now! But as an atheist, I call it like this: Jesus didn't tell me shit. It's what other men wrote about him 100yrs later! But Tupac spoke to me himself. In real time. And still is! For 26 years now. He even said he feels like he's doing Gods work! But I enjoy listening to such lyrical genius-ness! I'm glad he foresaw what he needed to do, by leaving a whole mass volume of material behind to slowly be released into the future. Telling me things i never heard him say b4! Every year for 10yrs strait! After death! Wud that be the definition of a prophecy? I think so! He is what a Jesus Christ supposed to be!!
Sorry, I have a tendency to write very long, yo! But gimme your thoughts, yo!
