Hey I've listened to this probably over a 1000 times over the last 20 some year and you are the first person to explain that lyric thanks it makes sense to me now.
Sorry you guys that is NOT what hes saying. Hes saying that the story of Moses is plagiarized and stolen as a lie. Moses was brought up on murder charges 40yrs before reaching Mt Siani. The 10 commandments were stolen from the 42 negative confessions of Maat. How can Moses give you the 10 commandments when he was already charged with murder and his brother Aaron was charged with theft. The Pharoh wants Moses dead because he killed one of his kids or someone very close to the pharoh. If you listen Pac says they say Moses split the red sea and Pac is saying yeah right he split the red sea well I split the blount. And the very next line he tells you he was coming for the Pharohs kids and the Pharoah wants retaliation. Gotta read more than just the King James bible lol💯💯💯

2Pac is saying he's not Jesus, but he goes through that everyday. Go listen to the Makaveli album. It's like a movie. Top 10 greatest Hip Hop album of all time. 1. "We don't turn water into wine, but we turn dope fiends to productive citizen in society. 4. "We turn words into money, what greater gift can that be. God blesses those that are righteous." 5. "And heaven is when you sleep... you sleep with a good conscience. In hell all you see is the fucked up things you did over and over again in your life." 6. "It's hell on earth, cause bullets burn, and there's crackheads in the streets walking like zombies."
Pac was definitely a deep brother and people dont give him his props. I cant even listen to pac without my eyes watering up. He goes hard on this album
4 years late, but I think Pac wasn't saying that he wasn't happy nor was he confirming nor denying scripture, he was just essentially saying that he (and other young black males) are so disconnected from what the "preacher man" is saying that while the scripture is saying Moses split the red sea, he (and other young black males and those living similar lives) are splitting blunts and rolling em, getting high, perhaps to cope with the repercussions of Moshe and his descendents' sins and transgressions. I.e., history is cyclical, e.g. recidivism, revolving door crime cycle, etc., Pac is basically saying our generation is less connected to splitting red seas and more connected to splitting blunts.
Im so glad this younger generation respect the big homie Makaveli!! It makes me feel good inside!!! Trust me when I first heard pac myself I knew it was something special about this Brotha!
I remember like it was yesterday checking out of school just to go get this album. Blasphemy is so deep you'll definitely have to do a playback just to sink all of it in.

I really don't understand why people have to always mention that PIG when they talk about that POET!!!! Reality it that PIG like all the other rappers, rhyming yeeessss but saying A LOT OF NOTHING!!!!! Tupac had SUBSTANCE in his music, which sets him apart from EVERYBODY. All on Eyez on Me... was the distraction... it was his obligation... what he needed to do... get it popping... say thank you to DR and California... but Makaveli (song types) is closer to what he was doing b4 Deathrow (w much better production) of course. My favorite Pac album is Me Against the World and Makaveli is muuuuuuuch more in line w that than All Eyez on Me.
This song 'Blasphemy' is about Pac being Blasphemous to Religious believers who are Christians basically who judge but are Hypocrites.Like when he say "We prolly in hell already,Our dumb asses not knowing,Everybody kissin ass to go to Heaven ain't going"...Pac real slick on the way he said certain shit like when he said "Niggaz in Jerusalem waiting for signs,God coming she just taking her time" and "The preacher want me buried,Why? cause I know he a liar l,Have you ever seen CrackHead? That's internal fire" And the craziest thing he said was "Why you got these kids minds thinking that they evil,While the preacher being Freaky, and you say honor God's people?" Yeah this is by far Tupac's deepest record he made.He recorded this on July 14th 1996
