- Crow Country is a new survival horror game with a classic PS1 aesthetic twist.
You play as Mara, a young woman who's arrival has broken the silence of the long-abandoned Crow Country theme park. This Resident Evil and Final Fantasy inspired title piqued our interest so we sat down with the developers to talk all about it.

I did a double take when the file size came up as 616mb. Mb. Sometimes we forget how large games have become and what can actually be accomplished with far less data. Was unaware of this game until yesterday but I’ve seen it making it’s rounds and it was an instant purchase once I saw the trailers.
Loop Hero, Animal Well, now this. Indie games are regularly not just better optimized, but iptimized at all.
I love that he WANTS speedrunners. That’s good. I’m not a speedrunner but I really like that a developer wants that.
I’ve been playing this game and it’s really, really good. Perfect mix of old rpg, survival horror, and even some comedy here and there. I’m unfortunately not the speedrunning type but I also really hope to see some ridiculous things come out this. Love the developers.
i'm loving this game so much and this interview made me love it even more. i really hope a speedrunning community does happen for this game!
I played this game three times in a row and it still felt terrifying. Also, reading the paper at the end added such a depth to how far the horrors went.
i played the demo after founding out about it just a day ago. it looks and feels great! as someone who has worked at a themepark i was attracted to the idea of a game like this taking place at one but the PSX-esque style and simple functions really sold it. i look forward to experiencing the full game shortly!
This looks great! Rarely; without preemptively knowing any more about it outside of its name, do I see something I’m definitely going to play so flushed out already.

this low render graphics would be awesome with light bringer and zombie revenge remake something like that.. also dynamite deka series too

The art style is incredible. I am all in for this being an art style future games might use to invoke the ff7 ps1 aesthetic. Great job
I absolutely love this game. Got S+ and did like 5 plays, 1 crazy fast speed run! The only issue I had was the unlockables will deactivate and my settings would reset after shutdown! Also the Crystal Crow completion bonus didn’t really make sense. *SPOILERS* The weapon was useless since everyone was dead. Not being able to select the unlock after completion ruined it. That said I can’t wait for more, I need more !
Am I the only one who is so hooked to Crow Country that I wish already for a sequel?
It's an interesting introspective to hear that he is sick of his game. I never thought about it but it makes sense considering how much time he spent with it, repeating the same sequences over and over. Maybe this is a reason why some projects get stuck in development hell, or never see the light of day.
The game is just fun! There are many little details added by the developers that are just there for fun, and I think these add a lot to the game, bringing a sense of levity and humanity to balance out the oppressive atmosphere of the game, which is also well done.
Looks interesting. Saw the demo playthrough and it's got great atmosphere.
i need to know, will this game come out on ps4? i will get it on steam but id prefer if i can play on my ps4. i just want it added to my trophies. all my fav games i always try to platinum. its like collecting cards for me so to speak.
I'm going to buy your game today I played the demo like 8 times so I'm definitely gonna buy this I just got done with alisa Developer's cut. Which is a very fun game and I feel like this game is going to bring me that much fun too

But, don't get me wrong. I had a lot of fun playing... I'm a big fan of Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, and the Resident Evil series.
Very good puzzles and atmosphere, but, I hate how many tips the game gives away, like if the player is stupid.
The combat is not nice, too, you can simply evade 99 % of the enemies, feels too easy. No tension at all. But, I liked the aesthetic, overall.
Saw this in my steam queue earlier and had to add it. It feels like a mix of the plot of Ill Bleed, if it was done like an old school RE title.
Want your game stress tested and destroyed? Give it to Let's game it out, Dangerously Funny, Graystillplays or the spiffing brit xD they always manage to break games in unique and fun ways hahahaa
This game and many other ‘indie’ development houses are turning out FAR superior and stronger content than anything the triple A’s are doing right now

This is a far more natural successor to the og RE trilogy and silent hill quadrilogy then those third person numbskull remakes ever will be
