Bought this exact truck almost 2 years ago. With discounts, incentives and negotiation i paid $35,000 Canadian plus taxes. Bought it for this exact reason, wasn't sure if I really needed or wanted one. Love it so much I might be trading it for a Warlock, just for the nicer interior features
There's no way you bought your Ram Classic for $35,000 used yeah but not new that I know for a fact I live in Canada and I just bought a 3.6L V6 Pentastar with tow package for $56,700 after all my options and taxes I forgot I recieved a $14,700 discount; with out my discount it would've been little over $60,000. There not that cheap
@@brianlambert6332 i just signed yesterday for one brand new in Montréal, and paid 41998$ tax in. So he definitly can have paid 35.000 back before covid.
Just got this but a quad cab, all in $57,700 with winter tires and steel rims. The interest rates are brutal, but only plan on keeping for 4 years or so
I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman extended cab with the 5.7 and a few upgrades. It was $10k cheaper than the new body style and should be reliable given its been in production since 09
really cool how ram still makes the older generation, it feels like a time capsule. i wonder when ram will unfortunately decide to phase out the 4th gen. love the vid👍
I have a 2022 bighorn edition new style truck. I paid $49,000 outdoor quad cab hemi 8x4 screen electric driver seat heated seats and steering wheel electric back window slider. Night edition. With running boards four-wheel drive towing package with electronic brakes and steering option. Seems like I got a really good deal. 🤠🇺🇲🌞
I have a 2017 Ram 1500 sport 4x4 nite edition and I love it!! Exact same look little different in interior I have leather bucket seats. And all the goodies lol. In white color.
@@EverythingCarReviews There are two 4x4 systems from BW. If your truck has a 4wd auto it has the electronic 4wd (for snow) if it doesn’t have the auto 4wd option it has the East coast mechanical unit for the serious situations.
60k in canadian still high, for a truck only offers a lot of plastic, this is good for traders not family car, but I don't believe any construction guy will spend 60k or 50k.
@@mcaddicts yup plus developing a new design interior cost money and requires retooling of production equipment which raises the price of the truck. Plus I think their market research shows that Classic owners like myself are happy with the interior.

The rumor is it will be phased out to make room for the new mid-size around 2023.

This Dodge Ram is a 4x4, does it have a solid front axle and diff? Or is it one of those CV jouint type fronts with a solid rear axle?
From what I remember, the front is not solid.

Why would they do that. This is met to be entry level. They still have to make the new 1500 attracting to buyers. Not compete against it.
