CPL Flight Training | NDB Tracking, VOR Position Fixing, Partial Panel, Stalls & Circuits

- In this video I'm around 10/11 hours into my CPL Flight Training in the Piper Arrow PA28-201. On this lesson we depart Coventry and I go under the hood to track inbound to the LE NDB followed by finding my position using VOR and DME. I then have to fly on partial / limited panel for timed turns and compass turns before another position fix followed by stalls then recovering back to Coventry for circuits. All in all this was around a 3 hour flight and I've condensed it down as much as possible - I thought it would be a real shame to cut too much out!

That was really good, bought back many memories when I did my CPL twenty plus years ago. Great instructor you have as well. Thanks for sharing.
Flipping heck, i would’ve been sweating after all that. You handled everything he threw at you so calmly and methodically.
Outstanding effort, and excellent instructor. All the best Ben.
Excellent episode Ben, stirred a lot of memories. Must seem a lifetime ago for you now. ✈️
Fantastic video Ben, I thought it was all the better for being so long, thanks for keeping so much in!
Trying to catch up with the videos. Good instructor Ben. Good video. Finding the time to fly and build up your training is hard sometimes but we'll worth the effort. Thank you Ben. Fly safe.
Your Instructor seem like one of the nicest guys you could ever fly with!
Ammeter is suffering from fatigue! :) Good stuff! Arrow is a great trainer. I love the one I fly! Be safe and thanks for the videos!
your long study of the art of flying shows. well done!
This is bloody brilliant 😀 Maurice is ACE
A fantastic video Ben and pleased you left a lot of content in to view, thank you. Morris coached me up to my skills test at EMA which I passed a few years ago, after which we had a trip out to Southend for the day to give me some flying experience. I'd had a few instructors prior to Morris, but he was the best for me by a country mile and I was so lucky he came along at the right time. You made a good choice!
Fantastic work flying and making this video. Your hard work and dedication are a huge inspiration, man. Keep up the great content! ✈
Excellent videos!
Another amazing vid as usual! :)
Great video Ben - felt like a great revision session for all those critical manoeuvres - good luck with rest of the training!
