Hortus Sanitatis smells like Vicks Vaporub to me. Very mentholated and medicinal and herbal and dry. I don't see myself wearing it. The other Gucci's were beautiful however! Midnight Stroll, Ode on Melancholy and Eyes of the Tiger were standouts for me. Really nice collection.
Santal is my fav unfortunately as I was expecting more from the Les Absolous d’Orient line, I could actually leave the rest in this collection; I’m glad I own them but find I rarely reach for them. Don’t own the Pachouli yet. Have you reviewed this Guerlain fully yet?
I absolutely love Cuir Intense. I purchased it on a blind buy after watching your review and it just spoke to me immediately upon first sniff. I tried the rest of the line out and was not enthused, so didn't buy any more. I'd hate to see Cuir Intense go, but I also know that my bottle will last for a really long time. China produces some good quality zippers but not all zippers are good, depends on how much money the brand give to the factory to make the product. they get what they paid for. YETI is made in China, they are good and they are expensive.
