Toothache, tooth pain, lancinating pain or dull pain all these happen to all of us at least once in our lifetime. Now why and how this happens and how to avoid it and treat it? When I say the underlining condition are the root cause for the tooth pain which is a very vast topic but I would like to summarize few most important points which one must be aware of on this day of 9th Feb which is celebrated as a National Toothache Day. Now toothache or pain can occur because of few of the conditions like inflammation or infection of the tooth or the tooth pulp or trauma to the tooth, fracture of the tooth, wisdom tooth impaction, gum infections and food lodgment in between the tooth. These pain can start as a sign or also as a emergency case with the severe intensity. But under both the case getting a dentist advice is at most needed. Some of the emergency tooth pain can be resolved temporarily by taking medications but will not yield a permanent solution. Tooth pain can always can become an emergency case if you are not able to eat, you are not able to sleep in the night or you are not able to concentrate your daily routine. Such condition you will need an emergency help to relieve the pain, would always prefer not to go with the over-the-counter medication rather seek a dentist advise immediately and get the emergency treatment done.
